Alexis and Tarik handled the actual work. They removed all of our old attic insulation, sealed any openings, and installed new insulation that helps repel mice and bugs. The next day, they returned to insulate the walls. They arrived on time, were respectful of our home and furnishings, and left everything clean when they were done. But that's not all - I was in a protracted battle with my insurance company, which denied our claim. Phil was confident that we would win an appeal of the initial denial and explained the process to me, assisted with submitting all the required documentation, met with the insurance person and the neutral "arbitrator" handling our appeal to look at the roof, etc. And Phil was right! We won our appeal and, as a result, the insurance company had to pay for our new roof. Without Phil and Ashley's guidance, I wouldn't have even known how to handle that process. They knew WAY more than my own insurance agent and were so dedicated to helping me find a resolution. They were so ethical and transparent and reasonable throughout, and Ashley was so patient with me. They even helped me get our ceiling repaired due to the water damage that came through the roof. We live in a wooded area, and at some point a branch had damaged part of a 28 foot section of the gutters, bending the gutter and gutter guard which keeps debris out. I noticed this when clearing leaves and debris off the roof. I gave them a call, hoping that I could get by with just replacing this one section. One of their guys came out (forget the name), started inspecting flashing and other things and I started to dread the list of all the wrong things he was going to find. After a few minutes, he told me that everything else looks good, and that he could straighten the gutter, straighten the guard, and secure it better. He did this.. took maybe total of 20 minutes. When I asked what the cost was, he told me no charge. Cannot even tell that the gutter had been damaged. Can't get better service and care than that. Highly recommended

After connecting with our insurance, I sent Jasen their claim findings to get it readjusted. No response, so after 4 days, I asked for an update. Nothing. I gave one more try 3 days later, nothing, so I called their mainline, which went to vm. Eventually, another rep, Pam, got back to me and we discussed the situation. She said she would review with the owner and get back to me in the next day or two. A week later, with no update, I called again, and got another vm. Frustrated, feeling like no progress has been made, and finished wasting efforts, I decided to move to a different firm. Pulling my 7 year old's baby teeth out would have been easier than getting a call or email back from this company. If their expertise in roof replacement is anything like their commitment to timely communications, maybe it was a blessing that I never was able to move forward.

We needed a window replaced while under warranty and it took FOREVER to get someone to come out. We were charged a trip fee of $200. The installer didn't have the correct tool to finish the installation and left with a plan to return "in the next few days". The window wasn't functional. He never returned and when we called again, we were charged another trip fee ($150 this time) for someone to come and correct the issue. When we got the bill in the mail, we were given 3 days to pay it. We were out of town at the time and received a follow up call stating if we don't pay the bill within 7 days they threatened to place a lien on our property. AWFUL customer service. We were patient with them but are beyond irritated that they threatened to place a lien on our property after the bill was unpaid for a short period of time.

After completing the roof on the house, they left a pile of shingles and materials in middle of my front yard for over a month (only removed after I called to complain), I spent an entire day waiting for someone to arrive for an appointment who never showed up, have been told several times I'd get a return call which didn't happen, requested a dumpster which never came after I was told it would, all the while, any time there's been any communication, it's been initiated by me. Six weeks went by between the time I was told they found a match for my siding and when I was told "I'll place the order next week." It's been another three weeks and still have no word if it's been ordered. Finally today I called and talked to the owner to put everything on the table. He was short with me and tried to shoot down as many points I was trying to make as possible and ignoring the rest. He interrupted me several times so I'd keep talking to finish then he'd say, "Can I talk now?" Their reason for not doing the garage roof initially was because the insurance claim didn't cover it. (perfectly reasonable). However, it's covered now, I received the check almost a month ago, told All-American as much, yet it still isn't done.
