Well, almost exactly 5 years later, Jamie did the photography at my wedding as well, and I couldn't be happier that I hired him! We started by meeting with Jamie in his studio in Framingham, where he won my (now) husband over by offering him a Sam Adams while we watched a slideshow of his work. He gave us an information packet with his various packages and rates, and we went home and picked one and officially hired him the next day. We opted to add an engagement session to our package, since it was reasonably priced and we thought the practice would be good, since we're not used to having hundreds of pictures taken of us. I knew we picked the right man for the job when, at the end of our e-session, my (then) fiance said "That wasn't as bad as I thought it would be." I know that doesn't sound like much of a compliment, but coming from a guy with the attention span of a 5 year-old, that's a pretty good compliment after spending 2 hours having his picture taken! Jamie kept it light, fun, and non-traditional, and he totally embraced our idea of incorporating our kayaks into the shoot. Leading up to the wedding, Jamie was very good about helping me plan our schedule for pictures, and made sure he knew about everything that was going to happen that day. He showed up early to scope out the venue for ideas, and then set to work shooting our amazing photos for the next 9 hours. He did such an amazing job that we're having a very hard time going through and picking our our favorites for the wedding album he is also putting together for us. Throughout our time working with Jamie, he kept a light, fun attitude, and I could tell he genuinely loves what he does. We couldn't be happier with the final product, and thanks to Jamie, we will be able to cherish these memories captured in time forever!

He was super friendly, gave us very clear rates for his time, and was willing to deviate from his set packages if we needed more of his time before or after the wedding. After seeing his gallery of photos we were set. Jamie doesn't do boring pictures. He really does bring a unique eye to some really fun shots. And the man made me look like a model, there's nothing better than that on your wedding day! At the wedding Jamie showed up at the church on time and had already scoped out the layout of the church for all of the best places for shoots. He was all over the place getting different shots of the ladies and the men getting ready, but never intrusive. And some of the posed shoots we did were just fun. We took pictures in the church's basketball court, in a stairwell, at the bubbler, and later on top of washing machines-- as well as the normal posed pics on the church steps with the family. And by far our favorite pics are the ones in the interesting locals. They came out brilliantly, we get compliments on our photos all the time. And like I said: I look like a model. When the time came for my husband and I to pick out photos for our wedding album, Jamie was beyond patient in helping us pick the right ones. And when my mother and father were late in picking out their photos, Jamie was immediate with his replies to their questions. The follow up care was amazing seeing as how we already had paid him. We liked Jamie so much that we've been reccing him to friends for engagement photos and their own weddings. We've seen the work that he's done at friends' weddings and they are all just as happy as we were with Jamie.

Prior to the photo shoot: I had some difficulty understanding the instructions provided by the high school as to the size (pixels) necessary for the yearbook. Warren went out of his way to contact both the high school and Jostens (yearbook) to get the specifics. This took the stress off of me since I had no idea what to ask (being unfamiliar with graphic design terms). During the photoshoot: The outside location at Green Hill Park, Worcester (they suggested) was perfect. We had a variety of shots with different shirts and scenery. The shots portrayed my son's personality very well. After the photoshoot: Not being computer savvy, I was having difficulty selecting photos from the software program. I called Warren and he took me through the process, step by step. Again, easing my frustration. The disc that he made for the school's use was hand delivered to me and professionally labeled with the instructions right on the disc. My photos arrived in a carefully wrapped and boxed package within 3 days of me placing my order. I was pleasantly surprised with such quick delivery. The photos are of high quality and reasonably priced. Whether it be a wedding, senior pictures, family photos, baby pictures, etc...I would highly recommend Lavallee Photography.
