This place is awesome, I have no idea why or how anyone could give them anything other than 5 stars, I ordered my family's dinner like I would have at any other place and I was amazed by how much food I received for the price, everything was delicious and we are pretty picky about what we get, not one complaint from anyone in the house. So if you are looking for a great value and a massive amount of food you should definitely stop in and enjoy the home cooked meals they offer. It's fairly easy to find, but you need to be looking for the small Conestoga wagon by the road for a better visual than the sign. Parking is in a paved lot right in front of the building but there is more in the adjacent lot. The only problem is if you pull into the front lot but don't have a parking space you can't get to the adjacent lot without going back out onto the divided highway. The legal way to do this is turn left at the divider opening and go back towards Jonesboro about a block, then turn around at the next divider opening and turn into the adjacent lot. There could be an opening to the adjacent lot from the front lot but it is blocked off with a railroad tie. There is a handicapped space right in front of door. The parking spaces are not marked so you need to be considerate. This trip was for breakfast on a weekend, and the restaurant was about half full when we arrived. We were greeted as we walked in and told to sit anywhere. Seating is to the left and is all tables with few seats at a counter to the right as you walk in. Our server came by right away with the menu and took our drink orders. She brought the drinks quickly, but we needed a little more time to decide as the menu is decently large and diverse. She returned in an appropriate amount of time, the sign of a good server. Our food arrived about 10 minutes after ordering. The Magnificent Seven had two eggs (cooked slightly less than ordered, but not an issue), hash browns, two sausage patties, two small pancakes, and a biscuit. The biscuit was dry but would be fine with gravy. Everything else was quite good. Of note is the little jelly packets included seedless blackberry jelly and apple butter, a very nice change from the typical grape and strawberry offering at most restaurants. My dining partner selected the meat omelet, which also included toast. The omelet was large and completely filled with meat. It was a very good selection and very filling. There is background music playing which is noticeable but not loud. Conversation was very easy. The restaurant was mostly full by the time we left, but the servers still seemed to be keeping up, as was the kitchen. Our waitress was So Sweet (her 2nd day there) Food on the other hand, Not so great. Very Small, cheese on burger was not even melted just thrown on the burger. Not worth 32.00 for a handful of tater tots, and 5 onion rings. Won't be back. read more

We ate there tonight and don't see what the hype is all about. We hear the breakfast is great but the dinner we had tonight was not good. The waitress did say they are understaffed and that their assistant manager was in the kitchen cooking so maybe that was it. My daughter had the grilled pork chops and they were so dry she couldn't chew or swallow without a mouthful of water and didnt eat the second one, which the plate of two was more expensive. Luckily the waitress was accommodating and removed the price of the second one after we asked. The Mac and cheese had no flavor and was dry. It was possibly the worst cornbread I have ever had. The pinto beans were great! And the fried pork chops were pretty good, but all around we weren't happy and won't be back. The table next to us were also unhappy and sent their food back a couple time before they gave up and just decided they would have snacks when they got home. So disappointed as we wanted to like this place, and everyone always has great things to say about it but this just didn't do it for us. read more

Stopped in for breakfast around 10:30 a.m. I sat at the bar and waited for nearly 10 minutes before someone even acknowledged my presence. I gave my order and 45 minutes later still had not received my food. During that time I was only approached once to be reassured that my food would be right out. I left without receiving my food. I cannot recommend this restaurant. I have patronized this establishment three times and on all three occasions the service was extremely slow, or non-existent as it was today. The food when I did receive it was mediocre at best. The restaurant is disorganized, disheveled, and lacks any serious representation of customer service. Food was ok. I had the grilled chicken and it was a bit dry but the bacon was tasty. Iced tea was good too. Service was so-so but I think that was the girl serving us. My older brother always stopped at diners and he always encouraged me to do the same. We went to Brights Zoo with three of our grandchildren (ages 8,7,5) with us. After an exhausting visit they were hungry and tired. I saw the diner on our way to the zoo so we stopped on our way home for a late lunch at 3:00. The food was out of this world! The children ordered 3 chicken tenders and fries off the children's menu. I couldn't believe how BIG the tenders were! We immediately got a take out box and took 2 from their plates and put them in the box telling them they could have another if they were still hungry. The order of fries was almost as big as an adult's portion! These children are picky eaters and seldom eat all of their food. They are EVERYTHING on their plates. No one wanted another tender. The 5 year old was falling asleep while eating. He kept telling his grandpa not to take any. He made it to 2 left and I asked I'd Opa could have them. He thought about it and gave him one and ate the last one. I have never seen them eat that much ever before and they have been having dinner with us every weekend!opa said his hamburger was very good and my blue plate special pork chops were delicious and only $10.92. I'm going back as soon as I can and I'll be a regular. In the middle of the afternoon there were a lot of people there. After eating there I know first hand why it was that busy that time of day. Great food. Great service. Good atmosphere. The staff is very nice. Great to have a sit down dinner that stays open late.
