    Reuben on everything bagel

Located in a newer shopping area, they occupy a portion of the building which has housed a couple restaurants previously. They are easy to find and being on the end have a small outdoor seating area. Parking is typical for any shopping complex with tight spaces and limited handicapped access. Still, we were able to find a space very near the front door. Walking in, the space is bright and open. The layout does not seem too different from the previous tenant, which had a good flow. The ordering counter is on the left as you enter. Our server was very pleasant and efficient. Drinks are near the rear of the seating area. We waited no more than 10 minutes for our order to be completed. FYI, if you order online, the pickup area is in the rear to the left of the drinks. The reuben was pretty good. There was enough meat and sauerkraut to get some in every bite. The swiss cheese was a bit runny, maybe due to the steaming process. The bagel was chewy and a bit wet, again due to the steam. Eating one of these steamers really is a hot mess so probably not something to do in your vehicle. They have a varied sandwich menu, and they also sell just the bagels. They are a nice addition to the JC sandwich and bagel scene.

    Sullys steamers. Disgusting Italian bagel.

Well. Well. Well. All my boyfriend and i wanted was a good bagel. This was the opposite of that. they were soggy and wet. Eggs weren't fully cooked and avocado was like water. Unfortunately my boyfriend had the worst of it. A sopping wet... Italian bagel. I mean who wants to eat a soggy wet Italian bagel. Disrespectful to bagels. Go to maple street and get a biscuits and gravy.

Navigating the overall experience was a little confusing. There's a clearly visible coffee menu above the counter, but the food menu is somewhat hidden. Fortunately, a staff member noticed my confusion and handed me a menu. There are also portions of the menu that are only available after 11am, and that's not clear on either the menu or the web site. Fine. In terms of food, I ordered a greek crepe with a half greek salad on the side. The salad was good, but not exceptional. Fresh. Crisp. Pre-sliced tomatoes for easy navigation. Probably a little too much feta. The crepe was interesting. It was almost a crepe burrito with greek filling. It was honestly on the heavy side. More crepe than filling, with an extra dusting of cheese on top. In terms of coffee, I would say middling. It wasn't bad coffee. It also wasn't good coffee. Overly bitter and one dimensional. On the other hand, they served the coffee in an oversized ceramic mug, which added some character and quality. Overall, this was a reasonable place to stop for a quick breakfast on a road trip. It wasn't exceptional, and there were some surprises along the way, but the overall experience was fine. It works as a quick pit stop.

Parking is in a paved lot right in front of the building but there is more in the adjacent lot. The only problem is if you pull into the front lot but don't have a parking space you can't get to the adjacent lot without going back out onto the divided highway. The legal way to do this is turn left at the divider opening and go back towards Jonesboro about a block, then turn around at the next divider opening and turn into the adjacent lot. There could be an opening to the adjacent lot from the front lot but it is blocked off with a railroad tie. There is a handicapped space right in front of door. The parking spaces are not marked so you need to be considerate. This trip was for breakfast on a weekend, and the restaurant was about half full when we arrived. We were greeted as we walked in and told to sit anywhere. Seating is to the left and is all tables with few seats at a counter to the right as you walk in. Our server came by right away with the menu and took our drink orders. She brought the drinks quickly, but we needed a little more time to decide as the menu is decently large and diverse. She returned in an appropriate amount of time, the sign of a good server. Our food arrived about 10 minutes after ordering. The Magnificent Seven had two eggs (cooked slightly less than ordered, but not an issue), hash browns, two sausage patties, two small pancakes, and a biscuit. The biscuit was dry but would be fine with gravy. Everything else was quite good. Of note is the little jelly packets included seedless blackberry jelly and apple butter, a very nice change from the typical grape and strawberry offering at most restaurants. My dining partner selected the meat omelet, which also included toast. The omelet was large and completely filled with meat. It was a very good selection and very filling. There is background music playing which is noticeable but not loud. Conversation was very easy. The restaurant was mostly full by the time we left, but the servers still seemed to be keeping up, as was the kitchen. Overall, this was a good breakfast for a fair price, and we definitely plan to return.

One truly remembers a place this wonderful. Located in beautiful quaint Jonesboro, there are many uniques shops and restaurants. Tennessee Hills offers tastings. The personnel are knowledgeable and friendly. We have had some of the best conversations with the staff and customers. This time we had lunch at the cafe next door. Fantastic food choices the Reuben and spicy chicken sandwiches get my highest recommendation. They offer a great number of mixed drinks made with their craft distilled spirits. Several Sunday football games were on the TVs in the cafe. The mood was festive in the cafe. Tennessee Hills has a new location in Bristol too! We will be back again and again!

From our parking spot, we spotted Tennessee Hills Distillery and knew we needed to check it out. The Tennessee Hills Distillery opened in the historic Salt House of Jonesborough in 2016. We were immediately impressed with the downtown area of Jonesborough and the salt house in which Tennessee Hills Distillery is located. The building itself is amazing and is something that we would love to have as our own. We are drawn to historic commercial buildings that are being preserved and renovated to house businesses and/or homes. After walking inside, we were even more impressed. They were offering complimentary tastings and we decided to participate. We thought the pineapple upside down cake rum was delicious. They have a wide selection of liquor ranging from whiskey, flavored whiskey, rum, flavored rum, gin and vodka. They also have some nice SWAG for purchase and unique gift items. We purchased a bottle of their Pineapple Upside Down Cake Rum to give to our good friends. Overall, this was a great visit and we highly recommend to others.
