I had the pleasure of attending the Intercontinental Hotel's Client Appreciation Night. The party was a themed Nightmare Before the Holiday. I was very impressed by the live music - One DJ and two very talented musicians take popular dance songs and put a fun funky twist on it. The emcee keeps the energy at high levels, the dance floor was lit and always full of people having a blast. Additionally, the food was incredible, decorations classy and beautiful, and a well put on casino experience rounded out a wonderful party at the Intercontinental in Century City. Who gets the party rockin'?!? 11H and the "Infusion Experience" will have you dancing and celebrating all night long! I have had the pleasure of attending 2 of their events now, and I have been blown away both times, by the mixed live/DJ'd music, the enthusiastic host, and overall amazing lighting, food, flower arrangements, etc... The mixture of live music on top of popular music tracks makes for great dancing. The host is great at getting the crowd hyped up and he keeps the fun going with prizes and little goodies for the most lively dancers on the floor. At the most recent event, they had the extra thrill of a "casino night"; partygoers could play for fake money at blackjack, poker, etc., then trade chips for raffle tickets at the end of the night. People on the dance floor (me!) could also earn special chips for busting a move. Raffle prizes were quite nice, ranging from spa treatments to two-night hotel stays at different hotel locations. I really loved the food both times, for which I give credit to both 11H and the venue, the Intercontinental Hotel (see my separate review). So if you are looking for someone to plan your next big bash, 11H Entertainment will help you celebrate right! read more

as a native of Los Angeles, i've been to my fair share of parties. some extravagant and well played, some a bit atrocious, and just absolute hot messes. but one common thread among all these social events was the music. mediocre at best, handled by one sole DJ, who's monochrome style more than reflects his immediate, and unfortunate taste in music. guests sit awkwardly about until they gain enough liquid courage to shuffle amongst themselves on an ill-situated dance floor. (you been to one of these parties too eh?) it's not awful, but it's far from what one would dub as "entertainment". but as the saying goes, never say never. i've waited on writing this review--- just to make sure the "Infusion Xperience" wasn't just having a particularly good night the last time i bumped into them. last night was the grand opening of the InterContinental Hotel's Grand Salon Ballroom. shades of purple and pink flooded the ballroom, while guests sipped on champagne, wine, and whatever their heart desired. it was relatively early in the evening, about 7:30pm, but already i noticed something out of place. though a big continent of people were chatting in the halls, there were a good number of people transfixed onto the stage. walking a bit closer, towards the center stage, there the DJ in the back, spinning, (and actually listening), while a live percussionist/drummer (Ricky Rocks) and sax/flute/keys player (Katisse) played along to the track. the gentlemen were dressed to kill- and the ladies (and some gentlemen?) were obviously entranced with them. they were spinning songs from all over, including the top 40, while completely improvising over the each song. wait a minute. musicians in la, that look good, but can back up the looks with actual talent? does this still exist in LA? and to get the party going, Steven, who was the emcee and mastermind of Infusion Xperience, was slipping in and out of the crowds, getting people warmed up to come dance on a very well situated dance floor. :) people of all ages, shapes and sizes were getting down and dirty, and trust me, this crowd was hard to crack-- but after a few nudges and some fantastic tunes, everyone was up. And for those super shy patrons (yeah the ones taking the videos and photos of the dancing fools), were kept busy by Collins Key. he performed three magic card tricks on me, and i'm convinced the boy has some psychic, metaphysical, whatever powers that will literally change the cards in your hands. it's a bit unnerving actually-- but in the best possible way. The party was extremely well executed, from the designs, to the lighting, and various massage and manicure services they were offering enroute to the main stage. But I have to admit what really made me and my colleagues remember the event was the Infusion Xperience. it really is an experience when you come to think of it, everyone left happy, dazed, and all that dancing more than helped shed a few calories. Fantastic group, if you have any sense, you should book them. So far, nothing quite compares or even is within ballpark of what they do. they're catching up like wildfire, so if you want 'em, you better get 'em while you still can. read more

Let me tell you a story: once upon a time there was a beautiful, smart, incredible woman named Kaitlin (my soon-to-be wife at the time) and her adorable, awesome, fantastic, incredible, intelligent (too much?) soon-to-be-husband. They lived in Los Angeles, but wanted an amazing wedding in Mammoth, CA. One fear: the caliber of DJs that we came across in the Mammoth area just weren't what we were looking for. In steps Jason at 11H Entertainment; our hero. We had an initial phone conversation where we hit it off, followed by an in-person meeting that went really well. From that point on, we just knew we needed Jason to DJ our wedding, and, luckily, he helped make that happen. Do you want the best? Get Jason. Do you want someone to make your wedding (or any party) incredible? Get Jason. Do you want someone who's professional and has enough experience to know how to read the crowd and play/do what needs to be done? Get Jason. There just aren't enough words to say how great Jason is. 11H Entertainment DJ'd at our friend's wedding years ago and what we remembered most was how much fun that party was! From my first encounter last year with Jason Henson at 11H Entertainment, I knew he would be the perfect DJ for our wedding. What I especially liked about him was how much he loves his job- he loves weddings, and loves making them unique, awesome, and fun. And his years of experience truly make him a person I could totally trust in making our day fantastic. We wanted to integrate some ethnic music into the mix, and he was very comfortable with that request. Jason emceed our wedding and did the ceremony, cocktail, and reception music and handled it all with style and ease. I appreciated that Jason requested to meet with me and my husband weeks before the wedding to talk about our music preferences and vibe for the wedding- we discussed if we want the some or none of classics (I.e. we said no to "Celebrate" and "YMCA"). He was excited about the song list that we provided him and played songs at the wedding that complemented the list. During and after the wedding, we received so many compliments on the music, and we couldn't have been happier ourselves. Holy cow, these guys are amazing! Our wedding in Long Beach this September was out of this world thanks to them. The music was fantastic and the live mix added something supremely special to the event. As a former musician, I have always loved live music. However, when putting together the wedding, the lady and I wanted popular songs as part of the music without too much variation from the originals. We can't thank Steven at 11H Entertainment enough for helping make our daughter and son-in-law's wedding such a fun and special day. We've never seen so many people dancing at one time except when games are played (which we didn't do). We wish the party could have continued for hours more. If the venue would have allowed us to stay longer we most definitely would have paid Steven extra to stay longer. We hated for the party to end. Steven was so kind and patient each time we met with him. When I first spoke with him on the phone, I was impressed with his confidence and honesty. I'm not really a yelper and i havent been home in 3 weeks so i gotta write a review.. sorry if its lacking.. I'm not sure what you would call 11H Entertainment... First off any party organizers with the word "entertainment" at the end automatically makes me think of douche bag promoters with 1,500 facebook friends, a Affliction shirt, sunglasses, and just a certain untrustworthy creepy nature to them.. Plus they will charge you an arm and a leg for bottle service and act like they are doing you a favor... But once you get to the event, you automatically regret the venue and try to have as much fun as you can with your friends.. Its not totally a bad thing, company makes the night, but it has to make you wonder if the entertainment group could've done more to make you night special.. im talking to you visionshock, jetset, rush friction, and entitled 11h is completely different. From the event i went to they held nothing back. But also it didnt have a cheap kind of feel to it. Everything was well decorated, bright, and comfortable. I felt kind of like James Bond in a hotel soiree looking for my next Bond girl.. I'm not event going to mention how good and classy the food and drinks were because I dont know if that was part of an 11h package.. but just know when they throw a party.. they go the whole 9.. Something of note when it comes to 11h that i had to put in the review because i felt it gave 11h life. First off, they had an emcee, a real MC... not some dude with diamonds and chains that talked way to loud and made you feel unsafe.. I'm talking a master of ceremony... He was really full of life and kept the party going.. not in an annoying way.. he really took charge and had the room following his vibe.. Like Jasper from twilight... if you dont get that reference then its probably a good thing.. The second and most influential thing about 11h is... the band.. like gwen steffani would say... The band is bananas.. B.A.N.A.N.A.S... ehh.. i would really call them a band.. they have a dj that plays top 40 stuff.. his track order was exceptional.. really helping the mood of the room... The dj itself would be serviceable but its not really the thing that got me.. They also have... support for the tracks.. they had this live drum player who was seriously going off on some of these tracks.. and it wasnt like an annoying dude just beating up the drums.. this guy was smart.. its kinda like he practiced with each some and added another flavor to it... he would just dissect some of the songs and make it that much more aggressive... If you ever seen the remixes to what travis barker from blink 182 has done to some songs, then ull know what im talking about... There was also another guy who was working the sax, flute, and some cowbell in there... or percussion... He was also equally adding flavor to the music... He and the drummer played off each other a lot and it made me feel like he actually wrote the music and put a Professor like edge to it... He showed me how the music should of been performed in comparison to what it was on the radio.. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM IF MUSIC IS YOUR THING LIKE IT IS MINE... they seriously ripped off the notch by turning it up too high and set it on fire... read more

The Infusion Xperience/ 11H Entertainment was awesome! They made our wedding! The party was off the hook! Steven and Jason were a pleasure to work with! Jason took the time to meet with us before the wedding and go over songs and how we envisioned the event. Steven even called me the night before the event to let me know everything would be great and all was well! They were always available to talk whenever we had questions and are the nicest guys ever! The party went until 2am and my guests were in awe of their skills! The drums and wind instruments played over the real song was soooo cool...especially when you hear a flute playing over a rap song! ;-) Jason played an assortment of songs and everyone loved them. 11H Entertainment did a flawless job at our wedding. FLAWLESS. I cannot recommend them enough to anyone who is looking for entertainment for their wedding or big event. Steven, Jason, and Katisse were all so professional and easy to work with. Our unique venue and the difficult transitions it required was challenging for anyone, but they made it all work and executed our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and party perfectly. The music was so spot on that I felt like Jason was reading my mind. I have never seen either side of our families dance like they danced before, and all our friends said this was the best party they've been too. This is the best entertainment you can get...hands down! Everything is handled in a professional and fun manner from the very beginning when you book them. Then once on site of your venue it is best to let them take charge as they know exactly how to read the crowd and everyone will be talking about how fun it was for weeks and months afterward. 11H is the best! We'd known Brittany and Jaylen (the Power of Two!) through mutual friends for awhile and had always been impressed by their multiple talents! After we got engaged, I happen to see on facebook that they are also DJs. Knowing their personalities, we knew that they would be FANTASTIC at our event. We immediately set up a breakfast meeting to go over all of the details. We were worried at first about working with friends...well, the second we started talking logistics, any concerns that we had evaporated. These two are the ultimate professionals and they really know their stuff. We were more than convinced and signed them up then and there. We are so lucky that we did! As the wedding approached, we met with them to go over what we wanted and what we didn't. It was clear that they were on the same page and were going to make our wedding fabulous. They are very experienced in what works and what gets people up and dancing and gave us tons of helpful suggestions. They even alerted us to an awesome group called Vitamin String Quartet, which plays string arrangements of famous rock songs - we ended up playing their songs while guests arrived and I walked down the aisle to their version of "Wild Horses." I can honestly say that Brittany and Jaylen were THE factor that made our reception fantastic. They had everyone on the dance floor all night - Brittany spun the music and Jaylen acted as an MC and kept everyone up and dancing till 1 am! All of the planned events (i.e., grand entrance, first dances, toasts, etc.) went off exactly on schedule and without a hitch. We received a tremendous amount of positive feedback from our friends and family, who all loved the music. After the event, we couldn't do enough to thank them. And we were lucky enough to attend their wedding just a month or so later :) Bottom line, I would recommend 11H, and Brittany and Jaylen in particular, without any reservations whatsoever. read more
