Book this place! I cannot say enough about it, except the weather didn't cooperate for a gorgeous TX sunset. The barndo is spacious, decorated so lovely and thoughtfully (esp the themed bedrooms), the beds comfortable, the land gorgeous. Access to local grocery stores and the highway is a quick 5 min trip. I don't know about other stores or restaurants as we only went to HEB. It's a hidden gem and we look forward to coming back someday and staying longer. read more

This place is amazing! We had a family reunion for a special birthday weekend and the Barndo had everything we could have imagined and more! Board games, yard games, pool table, ping pong, fire pit, bar (inside and out), plenty of room and open area inside, etc., etc. I would highly recommend The 12 Armadillos to anyone looking for a scenic country get away!
