On the wedding day, he was generous with his time and patient. We had our wedding in Las Vegas so there were a number of different locations to shoot and he came with a great plan and sense of where to photograph us, and the results were exceptionally captured. Some ideas were challenging, but he delivered! Probably what we were most pleased about is how well he got along with everyone, and how well everyone responded to him. He truly felt like a guest that everyone knew or wanted to get to know. We've been to many weddings, and many photographers are excellent flies on the wall, but don't necessarily connect with the people they're photographing. In Nathaniel's case, he was able to be that fly on the wall, but was also genuinely engaged with our guests. Everyone felt comfortable around him, and didn't have to feel like there was a camera taking their picture. This lent to everyone having a great time, coming out naturally and engaged, and that was exactly what we wanted. We couldn't be happier! Took over a month to see my wedding picture and for them to download all pic to a website to view (there was a lot of good moment pic that was not clear to see, that was very disappointed.). We got married in July we didn't get our album until December. Every time we send email to him about question after the wedding it were take 1 to 3 week to respond back. I didn't like how he also did our album picture but didn't let us see what picture he had pick or a draft before he had made it. So now I have to pay to get other one done.

They answered all of our questions and stayed in touch leading up to the wedding, especially when discussing the timeline. We worked with them to plan how to fit everything into our 9-hour day, even opting to trade our engagement shoot for an additional hour of photo/video coverage. Months before the wedding, we offered to provide transportation for them to help keep everything on schedule. They declined at the time, saying it would be better for the timeline if they drove themselves. However, the night before the wedding--during our rehearsal dinner--they called and requested that we pick them up and provide transportation after all. This last-minute change created unnecessary stress and frustration during an already busy time. On the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly and we had no issues during the actual shooting. Unfortunately, the problems came afterward. It has now been 7 months since our wedding, and they have still not fulfilled their contractual obligations. Specifically, we never received the keepsake box that was included in our contract. Initially, they said it would be sent, but they have since completely stopped responding to us. At this point, they have essentially ghosted us and appear to have shut down their wedding photography business altogether. It is extremely frustrating for a business to take payment, sign a contract, and then fail to deliver on agreed-upon items. As a result, we have been left with no choice but to pursue a civil claim for the full contract amount, as well as legal fees where applicable. I have also noticed that others have reported similar issues in recent reviews. If you have had a similar experience with this company--where services or contracted items were not delivered--please reach out. We are exploring the possibility of pursuing this further, potentially as a group.

I wanted to edit my review because after speaking with them privately, they did what they could do make things right, and during this difficult time it is honestly appreciated. While I can't provide a full 5 star review because of other minor things, I can at least leave 4 stars because as I said, I asked them to make things right, and they did so, and my whole family and I appreciate this effort to right the wrongs. I also want to note that they are people with real personalities. During the wedding, our family and ourselves enjoyed talking and working with the team. While Adrian wasn't there to work our wedding, Christie and the rest of her team were and they were fun people. Again I appreciate the fact that they reached out to us and "made things right." Alexandr was easy to communicate with over email leading up to the big day as we went over logistics, overall timeline breakdowns, and our basic expectations. Based on what we filled out versus the final results we felt KimFilms Weddings did an exceptional job across the board! The compositions, post color work, pacing, audio, music and overall editing was very professional and felt tailored to our requests. On top of that, they provided all of the RAW video footage and audio recordings via download links in case we wanted to watch portions of the wedding in its entirety. We met with Bob and his Social Events Director- Thelma, at our first consult in their office in Kearny Mesa. Both were so welcoming and took the time to get to know us as a couple and show us their work. We consulted with a few other photographers before meeting Bob, and felt so comfortable with him, his prices/packages, and his work that we decided to go with him and his team right then and there. It was such an easy process and we appreciated the option to make monthly payments online. Their website was easy to navigate and keep track of payments with friendly reminders along the way. Secondly, we picked the "Imagine" Photography package, which included 10 hours of coverage, an engagement session, and a wedding album. For the engagement session, we didn't know what to expect, what to wear, and how to prepare. Thelma was helpful with providing tips and recommendations. We were nervous, but it turned out being quite fun and gave us an idea of what it would be like shooting with Bob and his assistant. The photos came in a timely manner and we received them in a beautiful USB made of glass that was tucked in a special black box. Before the wedding, Thelma continued to keep us in the loop, and when the date was closer, she asked us to fill out an online questionnaire to help them prepare, such as: must have shots, what to focus on, who is who, and our Pinterest board. Finally, on the day of the wedding, Bob and his team arrived, including Helen and Jem--they're so great! Our wedding was going to be a long day and consisted of a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony, American ceremony, and reception. Bob and his team were professional, friendly, and helpful in so many ways. They even dressed in uniform so that our guests knew who they were! This definitely helped our guests pinpoint who they were--minor, but very important! Our family also loved them. One of our aunts mentioned how comfortable she felt with Bob and she even told our cousin to hire him instead of the photographer that he booked for his wedding! Our wedding photos arrived about a month after our wedding and we absolutely loved how they turned out. We didn't realize Bob and his team took so many shots until we saw our photos. Even though we had plenty of photos, we wish we could have even more, because they turned out so beautiful. Soon after, we got to pick about 60 photos for our 12x12 album, and it turned out just as beautiful seeing it in a book. Planning a wedding during COVID was no joke. Our plans changed a few times. Christina and Jake were so helpful, flexible, and understanding.
