Maryam has been incredible as my provider for fraxel laser, microneedling, and RHA redensity treatments. I've also received diamondglows here. It's a great refresher for your face. Maryam also provided tips on maximizing results and always takes your opinion in her recommendations. Altogether, my face has vastly improved. You can argue the treatments are pricy, but buying packages will get you a discount. I just think that's how the industry works so always get packages if you can. This place has a variety of treatment options, though they don't offer something like subcision, which is a more-involved procedure. But I'll just get that somewhere else and continue to come here for other treatments. Of course, they've recommended fillers and such for me. Rha redensity is like one. But they've been respectful that I prefer treatments like fraxel laser and such. There is a reason why they recommend filler though, because it does show faster results than others. The rha redensity provided the most improvement in a shorter time. They also have the skincare you need to purchase with ease. You're going to say those are expensive but they're not selling you products like La mer cream for $400. There is a parking lot, and there's always been space when I went, but the traffic getting there can be a bit much. All in all, I recommend doing at least one treatment here to see how you like it. During our consultation she was pretty much trying to "judge" whats wrong with my skin/face and wanted to upsell facials and other treatments. She was very pushy and I didnt feel comfortable continuing anymore since I felt like I wasnt being heard and she said "you cannot start the treatments without committing to facials" despite explaining that I have an actual derm I see regularly. The whole interaction just felt very uncomfortable knowing that this lady whos not a medical professional is giving medical advice?? I have gone to other medspas and I am a nurse myself so I see what she was doing. Super weird interaction, she seemed like a sales person just wanting to get commission badly..

If appointments can be altered without notifying customers, it defeats the entire purpose of scheduling one in advance. Clear communication and respect for customers' schedules should be a basic standard. Unfortunately, that was not my experience today.

I was told it would be rescheduled for the same day, July 18, and I even received a text confirmation. However, when my partner and I arrived at the Los Gatos location, we found out that our appointments had accidentally been booked for August 18 instead of July 18. As someone with a very busy schedule, I was understandably frustrated because I wasn't able to come back another day. I explained the situation to the front desk associate, but there wasn't much she could do. I left feeling disappointed. What happened next completely changed my experience. Areli came outside after us, sincerely apologized for everything that had happened including the issues with the Sunnyvale location and genuinely took ownership of trying to make things right. She was compassionate, understanding, and never made me feel like I was just another customer. With the help of her manager, she was able to accommodate both me and my partner that same day. I totally understand that, but I had submitted the form almost a week before my appointment, and they didn't tell me it required doctor approval until the day before my appointment. I had to make a doctor appointment to get them to approve it, which made me miss my original appointment. It ended up being fine and I rescheduled, but it was frustrating that I only had one day notice about all of this. On to the actual appointment... it was a great experience. Much quicker and much less pain than I had anticipated. I was in and out within 10-15 mins. The space itself is inviting and clean, and the ladies at the front desk are so sweet!!! A few years ago I added Botox. Dr G was my first experience with Botox and she's wonderful. In the beginning she listened closely to what I wanted (to remove the ever deepening line between my eye brows) and she explained that to get a natural look involves considering how all the muscles move together. She tried different injection locations, asked how I liked it at my next visit, and adjusted based on my feedback. Now, when I come in she ensures I want the same constellation of injections and works off her recorded "map" of my face. Dr G is very good at Botox! The results are wonderful and she always reminds me of how to care for it (for example, no exercise that raises my heart beat for 24 hours). Dr G is also wonderful with patients. She's friendly, calm, patient, professional and very gentle with the injections. There's been no bruising. Her goal is to ensure you're satisfied and happy. This has been truly disappointing. I'm generally a very positive person who prefers to focus on the good, but this involves my hard-earned money and a clear matter of principle. I'll continue to update this review as the situation develops further. All in all: 6+ minutes wasted on the phone after phone tag + time spent waiting at the front desk IN PERSON with no receptionist in sight. I should be charging ya'll at this point.SMH! I had my first treatment called sofwave at medspa17 about 6 months ago. All the staffs were very friendly, and a nurse named Heejung kindly guided me and carefully applied anesthetic cream to prevent any pain. She said that SOFWAVE is the procedure to regenerate collagen, and although it was a little painful, it was bearable. I was very thankful that nurse Heejung kept talking to me so that I would not get bored and focus on the pain during the procedure, which involved several hundred shots. After that, I also got Botox on forehead, the corners of my eyes, and between my eyebrows, and there were no bruises, and my expression became very natural. After about two weeks, I could clearly feel that my expression had become much brighter and my skin had lifted. I had been somewhat depressed and very concerned about sagging cheeks, nasolabial folds, and wrinkles around my eyes, but this is why I received these procedures. I clearly saw and felt the effects, and I felt much more confident than before when meeting people. Everyone is very kind, especially Nurse Heejung (she's very professional and excellent at her job) and Pilar (she explains everything very well; she's a very professional and friendly girl, and I love that you speak Spanish and are very helpful). The first and third pictures are two weeks after my scabs fells off. you can see my dark spot under eye got much lighter and it's a bit red now because the scab just fell off. But they've been respectful that I prefer treatments like fraxel laser and such. There is a reason why they recommend filler though, because it does show faster results than others. The rha redensity provided the most improvement in a shorter time. They also have the skincare you need to purchase with ease. You're going to say those are expensive but they're not selling you products like La mer cream for $400. This will be on my next trip, but today, we're going to talk about my food detox session that I had, that was not only refreshing, but educational, as well. What you will notice upon entering the salon, is that the place is super clean, unlike other establishments. Cleanliness is the first and most important priority at L'Ami. With the foot detox treatment, this is paramount. As such, clean new bags are placed in the water basins where your feet get detox. Once the treatment is done, the entire bag is disposed of, preventing any other person form using the same (dirty) water. L'Ami doesn't cut corners by using bags over and over! For the foot detox treatment, I sat on a very comfortable massage chair (lovely)! The water is clean at the start, but once the electrodes are connected to your arm, and the machine is running for ~25 minutes, the toxins go out through the pores of your feet and turn the water yellow, green, or red, depending on what is being cleansed. As a first-timer, the experience can be quite trippy to see all the stuff leaving our body, but once you read the educational pamphlets that are provided while the treatment is undergoing, you get a sense of appreciation that the treatment is wonderful for your body. Thanks, L'Ami!!! Once done, I felt totally refreshed!!! When you visit L'Ami, not only will your body feel refreshed, but you learn so much more about your own body, and how to take care of it.
