I want to preface that I have had no experience or work done in the past and want to look natural and youthful without drastic changes. I've been going here for a year, and the staff has always been nice. I came here for acne scars I've had my whole life. Maryam has been incredible as my provider for fraxel laser, microneedling, and RHA redensity treatments. I've also received diamondglows here. It's a great refresher for your face. Maryam also provided tips on maximizing results and always takes your opinion in her recommendations. Altogether, my face has vastly improved. You can argue the treatments are pricy, but buying packages will get you a discount. I just think that's how the industry works so always get packages if you can. This place has a variety of treatment options, though they don't offer something like subcision, which is a more-involved procedure. But I'll just get that somewhere else and continue to come here for other treatments. Of course, they've recommended fillers and such for me. Rha redensity is like one. But they've been respectful that I prefer treatments like fraxel laser and such. There is a reason why they recommend filler though, because it does show faster results than others. The rha redensity provided the most improvement in a shorter time. They also have the skincare you need to purchase with ease. You're going to say those are expensive but they're not selling you products like La mer cream for $400. There is a parking lot, and there's always been space when I went, but the traffic getting there can be a bit much. All in all, I recommend doing at least one treatment here to see how you like it. My nurse who did my microneedling was Maryam, and not only was she was very thorough with explaining the treatment and the aftercare instructions, but she made sure that I was comfortable the entire time! I had microneedling done in a different med spa before and remembered it being super painful, but this time I BARELY felt it, with the pain level of 4/10 at most. Called this clinic since I was interested with laser treatment for acne scars. I wasnt informed that consultation would be with someone named Louise who wasnt a medical professional at all. During our consultation she was pretty much trying to "judge" whats wrong with my skin/face and wanted to upsell facials and other treatments. She was very pushy and I didnt feel comfortable continuing anymore since I felt like I wasnt being heard and she said "you cannot start the treatments without committing to facials" despite explaining that I have an actual derm I see regularly. The whole interaction just felt very uncomfortable knowing that this lady whos not a medical professional is giving medical advice?? I have gone to other medspas and I am a nurse myself so I see what she was doing. Super weird interaction, she seemed like a sales person just wanting to get commission badly.. read more

I had an appointment today for an ipl treatment. Skin Refine sent me the consent forms to fill out prior to the appt with the fact that my appt might be rescheduled if the forms were not filled out prior to my appt. I filled out the consent forms today. I get to Skin Refine and the technician asks if I've used retinol within the last 72 hours to which I said yes. She stated that they cannot do my treatment today due to using retinol prior. Why did no one tell me this during my consultation or notify me prior to my appt? Instead, I just wasted my time going there and rearranging my schedule thinking that I would have a red face for the next couple of days. Annoying!! read more

I wanted to check this place out because of its amazing reviews. I've gotten Botox before on my forehead and 11 lines. This place made me feel like I needed Botox in places I've never even thought about. Again, I've been to other places for consults and Botox, but this experience felt a little pushy. I left feeling that if it had been up to them they would have injected most of my face? While I listened to their feedback and politely declined their suggestions I also noticed this place was way more expensive than other places I have been too. I said something about it and one of the ladies that works there tried to justify the price because of the experience of the nurse doing the injections. It's been a month now and their experienced nurse gave me botox around my eyebrows which unfortunately has given me an eyelid droop in one eye. This is the first time this has happened to me. I've been a client at Skin RefineMD for several years. I originally started my diamond facial treatments with Carla, whose technique and results were consistently outstanding. When I learned she had left, I was disappointed, though the person who replaced her was reasonably skilled, even if not quite at Carla's level. Unfortunately, it seems she has since left as well. They should work on retaining their good employees. Most recently, I had a chemical peel with Bianca (I think that was her name). Typically, with peels I've received in the past, I would see visible exfoliation and peeling within a few days, followed by the refreshed glow that comes with proper cell turnover. This time, however, I experienced no peeling whatsoever and no noticeable improvement in skin tone, clarity, or texture. The treatment simply didn't deliver the expected clinical results. On top of that, I've noticed a trend toward upselling packages and add-ons during visits, which feels pushy, especially given the decline in treatment effectiveness. While the staff are personable and easy to talk to, the overall experience no longer provides the value or outcomes it once did. At this point, I'm just looking to finish out my package and will likely seek care elsewhere, as I really miss the lasting results and glow that a high-quality peel and facial used to give me here. read more

This was my first experience getting my skin derma-planed and was super anxious because I've always had super sensitive skin, dealt with horrible acne all throughout my teens, and had a really bad reaction to facial waxing. I've spent a lot of years repairing my skin and finally am at a point where the acne is very rare, but had a lot of concern due to the little peach fuzz on my face along with it looking dull. I had my initial consultation via FaceTime with Carla and she was friendly and explained the process and was super transparent about the services/pricing. I was able to get in the very next day due to a last minute cancellation. In terms of the actual appointment if I could give 10/10 stars I would. Carla did an amazing job explaining the process from start to finish, explained what type of products she used, and explained the scientific process/method behind it all and how my skin would react. I was so relaxed I even fell asleep at one point. Overall my skin improved. The little furry cheeks are all smooth and my skin looks so much brighter. Not to mention makeup application is so much better and I don't see the texture from the hair anymore. Applying skin care products is so flawless now and I feel like this is the best my skin has ever felt. Carla did a wonderful job also checking up on me, which I really appreciate. Went here for Botox and under eye filler. I was overfilled in the wrong areas by the wrong products. Had severe bruising for weeks and it took two years for my cheeks to go down and return to normal from having "under eye filler" which was wrongly placed by nurse Jackie. The nurse also insinuated that it was because of my age (I was 37 at the time). So call your clients old bc you can't administer filler properly. Do not go here if you have ethnic skin. Then my online profile was deleted so I couldn't see any appointment dates, treatment info, etc. what a way to try and CYA.
