I'm no expert on skin care, facials, or detoxes, but I'm super impressed upon my first (and definitely) not last visit. L'Ami offers facial treatments that hydrate and support cellular regeneration. This will be on my next trip, but today, we're going to talk about my food detox session that I had, that was not only refreshing, but educational, as well. What you will notice upon entering the salon, is that the place is super clean, unlike other establishments. Cleanliness is the first and most important priority at L'Ami. With the foot detox treatment, this is paramount. As such, clean new bags are placed in the water basins where your feet get detox. Once the treatment is done, the entire bag is disposed of, preventing any other person form using the same (dirty) water. L'Ami doesn't cut corners by using bags over and over! For the foot detox treatment, I sat on a very comfortable massage chair (lovely)! The water is clean at the start, but once the electrodes are connected to your arm, and the machine is running for ~25 minutes, the toxins go out through the pores of your feet and turn the water yellow, green, or red, depending on what is being cleansed. As a first-timer, the experience can be quite trippy to see all the stuff leaving our body, but once you read the educational pamphlets that are provided while the treatment is undergoing, you get a sense of appreciation that the treatment is wonderful for your body. Thanks, L'Ami!!! Once done, I felt totally refreshed!!! When you visit L'Ami, not only will your body feel refreshed, but you learn so much more about your own body, and how to take care of it. I came here for my men caping needs and I am thrilled with the service and results! Since I do a lot of the great out door sport my skin tends to get clogged and breakouts. During my facial she was very thorough but very gentle and mindful all throughout the session. My skin feel clean and looked great. The blackheads were gone and had very minimal redness. L'ami Skincare is excellent. My Esthetician set the benchmark for professionalism and very welcoming. I have uneven skintones and a few acne scars and of my friend referred Tina. I came for the skin analysis and very impressed by the technology she used to do the skin analysis for me. After she explained my current skin condition I went ahead and did the microdermabrasion and a chemical peel that same day. I have had peelS with other spas and even with a dermatologist but the experience was pretty painful! Tina used less than 10% chemical based and the rest was green herbal peel. Surprisingly I didn't feel any burning sensation during my peel. She scored huge point. I can't tolerate pain too well. After the peel session Tina asked if I was in a hurry and I said no, so she gave me 15 min extra to treat my skin with a calming LED technology. And before I leave even sent me home with 2 postcare serums for free. I had to buy more products at the dermatologist office before and that wasn't cool. Again, I'm very impressed and her generosity and professionalism. I came in to get good skin results and she gave me that. I can't praise her service highly enough. She was very honest about the condition of my skin, and suggested ways to take care and improve it via nutrition and a filtered shower head. I will definitely go back to her for skin treatments! The minus one star was for the waxing - that was unfortunately subpar with wax and hair left all over my arms. It could be the nature of the type of hair on my arms that made it difficult to wax properly, but nevertheless I would not be able to recommend waxing services. Wow is all I can really say. I'm a fair distance away from where this business takes place, but I have family in the area, and was out visiting them a little while ago over the holiday season. I woke up this morning feeling desperate to get a facial. Yelped local facials and L'AMI comes up. There's only a few reviews but I took the chance anyways and gave them a call. Tina booked me in the same day. I came by and was really nervous and shy since I don't have the best skin in the world. She was very friendly, welcoming and informative and might I add, pretty. She didn't make me feel embarrassed at all and my experience was very relaxing. I like a more private and quiet environment with a personal touch, so I felt very comfortable here. I had a microdermabrasion and photo light therapy combo which lasted alittle over an hour. The microdermabrasion really helped clean out my pores and dark spots, while the photo light therapy helped tighten my skin, making me feel younger, smoother and refresh. The best part, I DIDN'T BREAKOUT AFTERWARDS! I didn't have to suffer with any swelling, redness or irritation afterwards like at other facials I've got. I was impressed with the technology they have, and their products makes my skin feel really good. I like that everything they use is organic in a very clean and sterile environment. I am sad to see another reviewer speak so lowly of this place, I myself had the perfect experience. Perhaps some people are A LOT more picky than others. If I were to have a bad experience, I wouldn't be bashing on people's businesses. I own a business myself and it sucks to read that. People should pick and choose how they approach their thoughts. Anyhow, I recently got married in July and I was freaking out because I needed a facial on the week of my wedding and my aunt was out of the country. I started yelping and stumbled upon L'ami due to popularity and high ratings. I called and left a voice mail expressing my urgency although the voice mail stated that they were booked throughout the week. Within 24 hours Tina from L'ami contacted me, and thank goodness I have not contacted anyone else because I was glad to hear back! Tina was very accommodating and could sense I was stressed from my wedding. She asked me to come in the next day because she could squeeze me in and I did! Upon arrival I was greeted immediately and met Tina, she handed me a form that informs my rights and also included safety precautions, ie allergies, etc. I've been to places without these types of forms so I was very pleased to find it this institution professional and assertive when it comes to patient care as well. Tina's treatment room was very tranquil and peaceful. I temporarily made my wedding stresses go away. Tina's very pleasant and made my whole experience very positive. I also pleased to know she uses all organic products , I use different types of products at home but it did not have any bad reactions on my skin. Even when she took out my black and white heads, which should be the most painful part, but it was not bad at all!!! I've been through worse pain in my life!! I have a very sensitive skin and often breaks out. I've never done anything on my face even a facial because I am scared that it will get worse. I saw Tina's post on Fb about L'AMI ARTIZAN BEAUTE and she uses organic products.  At first,  I  felt skeptical about doing it. However,  after reading the reviews and five stars, I decided to go and actually invited a friend to do it with me. I called Tina to make an appointment, but she was booked at that time and it was difficult for her to accommodate me and my friend at the same day due to her busy schedule but she was really sweet! She postponed her personal appointment just to accommodate us. Her room was clean, very cozy, and smells really good! She also plays relaxing music while treating my face that I even fell asleep.  She treated and massaged my face very gently. After the treatment,  she handed me a small mirror to see my face, and noticed that some of the wrinkles were lessened and my skin felt tight, smooth, and soft. I was worried that after a few hours or day, my skin might get bad reactions from the treatment; but to my surprise, there was none! Even my friend didn't have a bad reaction either! I guess Tina has the best organic products for face. Tina is the only person whom I could trust to treat my face. After seeing pictures of different facial procedures and results posted by Tina on a friend's facebook page, I decided to book an appointment for a facial for myself. When I arrived, I noticed the facial room was a small room inside a salon. Although the room was small, it did not make me feel uncomfortable or crowded. The room was dimly lit and there was relaxing music playing in the background. Tina started out by examining my skin. She then suggested what type of facial treatment I should go with. We decided on the organic facial with LED photo-facial therapy along with microdermabrasion since I had a lot of trapped pores and oily skin, but not a lot of breakouts. Throughout the entire process, Tina was very gentle and always making sure I did not feel any discomfort or pain. The products she used on my face felt very light and smelled good. Tina ended up spending almost an hour and 30 minutes on me! My face felt so smooth and soft afterwards. I would definitely recommend any of my friends to L'AMI for facial treatments. I came in one day, and I was greeting with Tina's welcoming smile. I was interested in trying a facial for the first time. She understood that I was a little worried about what would happen after the treatment, so she talked me through the whole process. She explained what she was doing and why she was doing it. This review is for my acne scars removal by the specialist, Tina. So I have acne scars on my temple areas for many years now and I was recommended by a buddy of mine to this amazing place. Apparently, he's gotten some treatment done here and was very pleased with the results. Scheduling an appoinment with the specialist was easy. I sent an email to request a consult and treatment and with in a couple of hours I got a response from Tina's assistant. On the day of my appointment my specialist analyzed my skin condition as well as making assessment of my life style such as; what type of products I'm currently using, if I'm an outdoors person, play sports, etc... to dertimine if i was a good candidate for the scar infusion procedure. I was also told that deeper acne scars may take more than one session. I was really impressed by her knowledge, honestly and caring so I went ahead with the treatment. The procedure was surprisingly PAINLESS and quick. There's no bleeding, no swelling like the laser I had years ago. After acouple of days the treated areas formed tiny small scabs and it fell off in about a week. After just 2 weeks could see my new skin transformed! I was told to see the best and maximum results it takes up to 2 months. Well, it's over 3 months now and my scars has improved dramatically. I was looking for a good esthetician for quite some time as I'm very picky when it comes to skin care. Finally, I found Tina at L'AMI. That was over a year ago and since then I've been seeing her on a regular basis. At the first session I filled out the standard disclosures about allergies and health conditions that every decent place has. Then she evaluated my skin and recommended treatments that were appropriate to treat my skin condition but she left the decision completely up to me. I liked how she didn't try to oversell me like some other places before. What was important to me is not only to have an effective yet gentle treatment but also that the place uses organic skincare while performing the procedures. In fact, I loved her products so much that I actually use them at home too as my every day skin care. I was back again to get pampered by the beautiful esthetician Tina. Like usual I would get the microdermabrasion to remove the dead cells on my face. I love the aroma of her organic products unlike other places they used chemical ingredients. Due to my busy schedule ,life has been stressful lately .Therefore, Tina recommended me their specialty oxygen facial infusion with vitamins .
