Brilliant. Friendly staff, wonderful set up, there was quick and fantastic quality service. Food prices for what you get was amazing, the serves were well and truly value for the money. The lemon pepper calamari was great, they catered for gluten free and even went to the extent of ensuring, said gluten free on menu but waitstaff were super helpful and double checked with chef. The oyster options were endless, any way you think they could be served and MORE! Fresh seafood selection showcased the eyre peninsula and the coffin bay region. Another member of our group highly recommends the ever changing desserts menu to try the beetroot and chocolate cake. They said the best chocolate cake they have eaten in many years! Booked in for a weekend away and birthday dinner. Had dozen oysters, in which you can choose 3 different types. They were great. Unfortunately that's where the great finished. Also had the "bucket of prawns". They tasted and felt like they had been frozen. Shells were sloppy and broke trying to shell them. $35 for this bucket left wanting as there were not that many in there. Hiding in the bottom was a large chunk of ice. Next we had lemon and pepper calamari ans the coconut crusted prawns. Calamari was floury and undercooked. Prawns were nice and coating was crispy. Chips were not the best either. Service was average and the under 18 waiter couldn't serve us drinks. We booked a table outside and got put right in the doorway. We didn't want it so they found us a high table outside which was very high (I'm not overly tall) and felt like it was right under my chin. $142 for this and won't be back. Overall, I was recommended this place and felt a bit cheated and let down. read more
