The space is cute, especially the back patio. Easy parking, quiet (area and few blocks of the main square. Service super sweet & helpful. The pizza is solid fresh thin crust - maybe a bit skimpy on toppings & too heavy on the cheese the vegetariano salad we had was challenging. I'm way into making them myself, so I'd recommend chopping the spinach fine, sauté a vegetable or 2 (onion- tomato?) and adding a fat like crumbly cheese, or avocado, or some nuts, etc to make it melt & come together better. The vinaigrette dressing was nice though. And for a place this stylish, it'd be nicer & classier to have a metal fork & real glass for drinks instead of plastic. Lots of potential! We went to the Puerto Real location. After days of Frituras and other typical Puerto Rican food it was a great way to reset the palette and avoid a major artery clog. I came in with my dining adventure partner and she had the Sparkling water with Lime, I had Coke Zero who in the island mostly comes those tall 12oz Red Bull like cans. They had a good selection of appetizers but we skipped it as my Girlfriend isn't an huge fan of loads of cheese. I know the blasphemy right? But they had some vegetarian choices for those that by some reason though that a vacation in the pork kabob and friend meat turnover capital of the world was a good idea. ‍ We had the chorizo pizza that was the daily special with the Herb Crust. That was the MVP clutch play of the game. The crust is light and perfectly seasoned. The sauce is light, with the right amount of acidity and sweetness. There was just enough cheese to be nice. The mozz was fresh and moist not the toasty bag stuff. It was layered with chorizo but somehow it didn't turn the pizza into an Oily mess that we might "liberate" for oil. ( Relax I'm a Marine take a joke ). The staff spoke great English which is good as the place was chuck full of tourists and the wait staff was polite and happy. I mean we all been to places where the wait staff look like they had their soul sucked out by kitchen warlocks. I will def comeback. Next time get my own pizza and not share. read more

This is a new pizza restaurant near the Ponce plaza. The place has a nice outdoor seating and that day, a local artist was singing. The atmosphere could not be better. The menu was interesting.. all the dishes named after an area of Ponce. We ordered the 19 Barrios appetizers ( I think that was the name) which consisted of melted cheese and everything. It was really good. We also ordered 2 pizzas - one with everything (which tasted the same as the appetizer unfortunately) and the cheese pizza. The crust was thin and crispy. Overall delicious. It can get kind of crowded, so if going with a group, I will suggest to call in advance and reserve a table. read more

Not sure why there aren't a ton of excited reviews on Yelp for this place, but it may be that folks stick too closely to the main square in Ponce. Reviews or no reviews, walk two blocks from the old firehouse and you will find 19 Barrios, a good ol' fashioned brew pub. We took advantage of their beer sampler, which our waitress was quick to mention as a "good deal": 20 oz of beer for the price of a pint. Not bad beer, locally brewed behind Barrio 19 and called Ocean Wave. The food was also very satisfying. We had a couple of tasty pizzas and a pan of melted cheese, which I gotta say is a damn good idea. Extra star for having a guy in a panda suit sitting out front blasting some other Latin song than "Despacito". read more

Appetizers were good. The bacon mushrooms were pretty decent. It says that they're a wine bar it but they didn't have wine. They advertise that they have local craft beers, but they didn't have any. The waitress was pretty rude when I ask her if I could have a margarita with lemon instead of sour mix. She said it comes like that and was pretty rude about it. Seems like the owner should pay a little more attention to the staff and the treatment they give the clients. The place was nice, pretty casual. Maybe I'll come and give them another try. Great pizza. Very different from the regular pizza. All kinds of unique flavors. And you can mix and match. Quick service and the Sangrias was a nice tough. Loved the guayaba sangria. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. read more

The only thing it's they can feel free to change the appetizer menu, dry meatballs with a NO homemade source it's taste like Prego sauce or words, the breadsticks a lot better in any place. Returned to this restaurant thinking I would get the same experience I got the first time, however, I was truly disappointed. We ordered meatballs as appetizer from the updated menu which looked delicious but we're almost completely raw on the inside. To make matters worse the service was atrocious. Everything Took forever and we basically had to beg to be able to pay and leave. The only thing consistent with our prior experience was the ambience and good live music. read more
