Everyone in the office was nice enough, but there was absolutely no follow-through from them. I…read morewent in because I had a tooth implant that was broken, and the abutment needed to be removed and replaced. After several appointments, they were unable to remove the abutment (which is fine - they just weren't equipped to handle my specific issue, which isn't anyone's fault). At the end of my most recent appointment, the dentist said that he would need to talk to the surgeon that originally put the implant in. I gave him the surgeon's phone number and he promised to call her that day. Two weeks passed and I heard nothing from him or his office - I called to check in several times and each time was told that the dentist was out and they would get a message to him. I eventually got a call back saying that he just got off the phone with my surgeon and he wouldn't be able to remove the abutment, but that he would refer me to a specialist. Another week goes by...and once again I hear nothing from them. I was finally able to get the referral I needed by calling into the office again and asking for it. It's just frustrating - I feel like they never would have followed up without me hounding them.

My husband was shocked at how costly my previous dentists recommendations were so we were considering a university clinic which was almost impossible to get an appointment with for a good year or two and a two hour drive each way or going to Mexico which I was not a fan of for many reasons. We found out about Dr. Zervas from a stranger who raved so highly about him we went online immediately and thought this might be a great fit. It absolutely is. Dr. Zervas is one of the most positive, high vibe, happy people on the planet. A beautiful smile always greets you. He is completely invested in your wellbeing and comfort. I feel like I am at the feet of a master, and at a spa. I am a new patient at his office and have had quite a bit of dental work already and it all happens in the same office. I didn't have to go to a periodontist, I didn't have to go somewhere else for tooth extractions and everything has been going very well. Horrible experience. I called the Greenfield office to discuss having a painful tooth removed…read more They sent me to see Dr. Blount in their Brattleboro, VT office. This guy was the most uninformative, cold doctor/dentist I ever came across. He never introduced himself, he never bother to explain anything regarding the condition of my teeth, and he made no recommendations whatsoever. The only thing he told me was that he didn't have the "tools" to remove the tooth and then his receptionist hit me with a $270 bill. They seem to make their money off x-rays. They took an x-ray before even an initial exam and then, without even looking at the x-ray, Dr. Blount determined he couldn't remove the tooth. Their Greenfield office told me the x-ray would be $47 and then I was charged $165 at their Brattleboro office, which was much higher than what it should have cost. Worse, they didn't even need the x-ray for what they did--which was nothing. In the end, I had to go to another oral surgeon and had the work done for $425. If you go to these people, make sure they don't do a thing until you first get a price in advance. They are crooks, Typical corporate dentist. Profit above people.

I was asleep for the surgery and woke up with little pain, I stopped taking pain medicine all together after only 3 days. Dr. Blount is an excellent oral surgeon and his staff were all friendly, professional and skilled. I was very nervous going in, but all of my fear and discomfort were assuaged throughout my three appointments with them . ( Consultation, surgery and the follow up). Dr. Blount is phenomenal, though I hear all the surgeons at CT Valley are, I would definitely trust him with any future oral surgeries that I may need, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anybody looking to get oral surgery. They answered all my questions in person, and over the phone. I probably called them at least four times throughout the recovery process. They have locations all over the place, with doctors on call if something goes wrong on a Sunday. If you have the option to choose where you go, check these guys out, they're great. And this is coming from somebody who hates going to the dentist, and was petrified of surgery.
