My cousin's bachelorette weekend was in Orange Beach and I was getting into the Pensacola airport so late that all the car rental places would be closed. Started researching my options and am SO glad I found this service. Rick was amazing from the moment he picked up the phone to book the reservation, through texting as soon as my flight landed to assure me he was there but there was no rush, through picking me up on the return trip with only two hours' notice (had expected to drive back with another bridesmaid, but schedules changed). For a woman traveling alone somewhere unfamiliar late at night, it's important to feel safe with the service you choose, and I absolutely did. Last week I had a medical conference to attend at the Sandestin Resort. so I decided to make it a family vacation. In advance of our arrival, I had called some of the local taxi companies, but the estimated prices were exorbitant. Please do not even consider another shuttle when moving around on the Gulf Coast.... no one could be better than these guys! Tommy was super friendly and helpful when making reservation on phone for pick up at Pensacola airport to Orange Beach. Rick was our driver and he could not have been any nicer or helpful. He texted us by the time we had landed that he was waiting on us, and told us not to rush. Offered to stop anywhere we wanted in route...grocery store, liquor store, breakfast.... We ended us stopping at a seafood market that is a big tourist draw in Pensacola and he let us browse and pick up a few things for our weekend. In calling around to find an airport shuttle 1st American not only gave us the best quoted price but also was the friendliest to talk to. Tommy picked us up at the airport for our vacation in Orange Beach without so much as a grumble considering our already late flight was delayed even later. A quick stop at the grocery store for brunch supplies for later in the morning and we were off to the resort. We went on a family vacation to Orange beach and Rick picked us up at the Airport. He was there early, before our flight had even landed. We have a 6 year old and 4 year old son. Our 4 year old needed a car seat and the company provided one which was super convenient. So we didn't have to worry about checking one at the Airport. The trip was fun and Rick also recommended restaurants in the area that we had stayed at so we could try those out. Called to make a reservation after receiving their number from the Airport. Linda answered the phone and was very friendly and helpful. She assured me someone would be waiting for me when I got off my flight. I received a text that she was waiting for me as I was leaving the plane. On my way to the condo I was staying at I asked if she would mind stoping by a grocery store so I could get essentials. It was no problem. I called and these guys were right on the spot. I had my daughter fly in from Atlanta to visit at the Navel base. They not only made sure she got there safe, but waited until our relative that is in the Navy got to the gate to pick her up. I was in need of a shuttle from the Pensacola airport to Gulf Shores, and Rick was absolutely amazing. I was traveling with my 3 year old and infant son by myself and Rick totally took care of all of us like we were family. Our plane was delayed by weather for 6 hours and he kept in touch, tracked our flight and was there waiting for us when we got out. Tommy was amazing! Will definitely shuttle with them again if I'm in the area. He was even able to take us to the grocery store since we didn't have a vehicle in the gulf shores area. This was a last minute trip ( and 90 miles to my destination) and i emailed them the info and ask for a quote and availability- Several minutes later they had already gotten back with us with the quote. Rick and Tommy are great guys. We had a girls trip and they were able to help us with different shuttles to Gulf Shores. They are so personable and accommodating. They made extra stops for us at no extra charge. We felt safe with them as our drivers. This is the only company we use for car service to and from the airport. Rick is always early and texts us to let us know he is there.... but he never pressures us to hurry. We just know we can count on him to be there! The ride and conversation is always fabulous, even if it is a pick up at 5am for an early morning flight! Offered to stop at Winn Dixie for no extra charge even offering me his discount card to use. Best shuttle experience ever! These guys are great. My flight got in at 11:00 but my friends flight was delayed til 4:00.
