Zutobi is a good way to practice and learn the road signs and it for sure gives you a good way to study. When your not busy and your bored you can just go right to Zutobi and take extra lessons or finish the lessons they ask you too! Helps keep you on track and on date with homework from them. I am a teen from this drivers school, I started in September and I finished all 6 drives within 4 months. I stayed on track and they were right there when I needed them! You can always ask questions when you are confused they are an answer away! I am walking evidence that you can do this! This is the drives ed to pick for your teen, especially with the class times! First there is not enough drive times and they are constantly cancelling or they use the excuse "the system is down" and you are unable to schedule drives. When you call it always goes to voicemail. I have yet to have anyone actually call me back. You can email but there is always a delay in getting a response and again it is just the system is "messed up" or "down" and they are fixing it. If you are a single parent or work full time this is not the driving school for your child as who knows when they will reschedule your drive times without communication or a conversation with the parent.

Then, I burned the clutch trying to go uphill (more than once - resulting in a need for a new clutch) and felt extremely discouraged. I was very nervous to get behind the wheel again, thinking I may cause further damage to my car. I was referred to Stick Shift Driving Academy from a family member, and it was just what I needed. After speaking with JC at customer service about my availability, I was matched with Amber, a driving instructor in my area. Amber called me and we set up a place to meet and practice that was close and convenient for me (along a bus line). Stick Shift Driving Academy hosts many driving instructors throughout the U.S. and you are matched with one in your area based on your needs. In my case, I was very happy to learn from another woman! Amber was very patient and understanding. We used her car to practice, so I felt comfortable trying new things and was not worried about burning the clutch on my older vehicle. She also helped me understand what could have gone wrong for me to burn my clutch, and I haven't had that "burning rubber smell" since! I drove with Amber for four hours (the High Power Vehicle Package). I will say - I think the packages should really just be thought of as "how long do you want to drive for?"- I don't think the packages really relate to different "levels."- The instruction is flexible and based off of the customer's needs. In my case, I really needed to focus on hills, so that's what we did. We found an empty parking lot with some hills, and did that until I felt comfortable. Additionally, I learned downshifting, reversing, feathering (a technique new to me, and soooo helpful!), and of course shifting to 1st gear. Overall, I highly recommend Stick Shift Driving Academy and Amber. My confidence in driving my own vehicle is way up, and I'm conquering hills in the Seattle area with more ease!

While the previous staff showed care and compassion, everything changed under the new director. What's most troubling is that the director claimed to have experience working with children with disabilities, yet she refused to make any effort to communicate with my nonverbal child. No visual cues, no gestures, no attempts at understanding, just avoidance and blame! Instead of support, I was repeatedly asked to leave work shortly after drop-off, because the staff couldn't "manage" her behavior, behavior that is common for children on the spectrum. My child was even referred to as "wild," which is dehumanizing and unacceptable. They also made it clear that they wouldn't allow her to attend without a one-on-one aide, which they provided no assistance in arranging. Meanwhile, when my child was bitten or pushed by other children, I was rarely informed, but if she had any issue, it was escalated immediately, making it clear she was being singled out and unfairly targeted. This is not a safe or inclusive space for neurodivergent children. If your child has a disability, especially if they're nonverbal or any child period. Please seek a center that not only says they support inclusion but actually practices it.

Since he has been attending, two coats have been stolen, most recently his winter coat within the last two weeks. When the first incident occurred I mentioned it to the staff and decided to let it go, purchasing a new coat instead. Recently, my nephew was picked up by his father, who inquired about the location of his winter coat, to which the staff had no knowledge. My three-year-old nephew stated that another child took it, and the staff confirmed that my nephew had informed them that another kid who was leaving had his jacket, but they ignored it. I immediately requested that the staff contact the parent to retrieve the new winter coat, as my nephew had to leave the facility wrapped in a blanket. The facility has stated that the parent has not returned the child since and that the child left the jacket at a different school. This situation is unacceptable, and I am left with no choice but to file a police report. Why should I be required to continue purchasing new coats, labeling them with his name, only to have someone else take them if they like them, which is ridiculous!
