I pointed out that his birthday did not stop him from returning a call he did not recognize. It only stopped him from returning mine. He promised to send an invoice and follow up. He did neither. More calls, more texts, all ignored. He came to my property, caused damage, dodged my calls, screened me by number, and then went completely silent. We have an ice maker in our basement bar. When it stopped working we called Stainy's and they sent…read moresomeone out right-a-way. The serviceman was very friendly, fixed the machine, left his cell phone number, and told us to call him if we needed. The machine filled with ice and worked great for about two(2) weeks, then nothing. We called our serviceman and he came back about a month later, worked on the ice maker, told us a part had been removed and intimated that someone in our household was responsible. We accepted that just as long as it was working. But it wasn't working. We called again. We had to wait until he could come back. After five (5) more calls and five (5) more tries, he finally picked up the machine and took it to be fixed. After about three (3) weeks he returned the ice maker and said all was well. Well, all was not well. It dropped about four(4) ice cubes, and they melted before the next four(4) dropped. This all started in 2019, at which time we paid over $700 and have made numerous calls to the technician, receiving promises that he would come and getting stood up. We even called the company and they said they would send someone else out. The company later called back and said they couldn't find anybody that worked on our kind of ice-maker. So here we sit with an appointment to see our usual technician tomorrow between 2 and 6 pm. We will see, but I don't have my hopes up. I suggest you remember this company; Stainy's Appliance Parts & Service, in Conyers, GA, and NOT call them. So now for us, if Mr serviceman shows up, and if Mr serviceman can get it working, and if we are satisfied with its' operation, I will post a review to that fact. I explained the situation and they said they would have someone out in under an hour and a half. Cornelius called when en route to provide his eta. That is service! He came, I explained the situation, about 30 minutes he came back and told me the issue and already have a solution and provided me with the amount. He was able to fix my washer in under two hours, where had I gone through the warranty company, they would not have even been able to come out until a week out. For under $500, I think it was well worth it, and he also provided me with insight on how to prevent future issues from arising. Hands done the best appliance company you could ask for.
