Prompt service and good communication. The refrigerator was running - so he cleaned the drain, removed ice and unclogged the coils. Which took about 1 hour to complete. Mr V Appliance Repair is by far the best appliance repair service we ever had. Vadym was right on time to repair the glass panel on our KitchenAid stovetop oven. The stovetop oven was the original with the house when it was built in 1985. Vadym had to carefully remove the fragile glass panel but it cracked. He then sought out a replacement part but our stovetop oven was quite dated and no parts were available. Vadym offered to replace the entire appliance at NO cost. Boris was our repair person. He was great, : knowledgeable, thorough and warm. His diagnosis was spot on, however the rates that he quoted were way higher than market. His rates are determined by owner. They tried to charge me 2x for parts and then $600 labor/hr. Insane! I got my oven fixed later that day, but not by Mr. V. Our washer has been continuously "eating" clothes, leaving a distinctive hole and then ripping things, usually on a hem or button/snap. As it has become more frequent and happened to more expensive clothes, I became increasingly frustrated and finally realized this was something a professional needed to look out. David came out and looked at the drum but couldn't find anything wrong with it. We are 100% sure it's happening in the washer, not the dryer, but had him look there too, just to be sure. He was confident that there is nothing wrong with either machine and suggested that "moths" may be to blame, despite the fact that buttons have been ripped off, and this has been happening to brand new clothes and workout clothes, which are made entirely of synthetic fabrics, and leaving behind grease prints. His "expert" recommendation was to buy moth balls. The only way moths are to blame is if they're living in our washer with giant greasy teeth. Since David's $50 visit, the washer is continuing to ruin our clothes (no surprise since he didn't fix anything). I've called and left voicemails asking for another technician to come look, but have not received any reply. In the meantime, the washer has filled with water and been unable to drain so I opened the drain myself and found...all the "snacks" the "moths" have been "eating" clogged up in the drain. It's pretty crazy that moths live in washer drains, right? I would certainly not recommend this group of "experts" if you actually need anything repaired. YouTube is much more helpful and less demeaning for free. read more
