We only fill our 100 gallon tank once a year. We were with Thrifty until this year and switched because of the poor customer support. Ferrellgas has a real person to answer the phone. We were previously Ferrellgas customers and dropped them for Suburban…read more Customer service is, hands down, MUCH better than Ferrellgas, prices are much better, fewer surcharges and the surcharges they do have are half those of Ferrellgas. Another nice thing is these folks lock in your price for the season (Ferrellgas does not do that and we ended up being gouged by them during the 2014 winter) and they are very responsive when you call them. Place an order and the truck arrives within a day or two. Hard not to like having a propane supplier that acts like they WANT you as a customer and treats you accordingly. Very refreshing!! Would recommend Suburban to absolutely anyone.

And your outage map is confusing and it doesnt help anyway. All I want to know is, where are you in bringing back service? Are you having additional problems? I see number of customers without service going up. That confuses me. Do you expect it to be 2-3 days or 2-3 weeks? I have steaks in the freezer! Just do a simple update on twitter or facebook every 4 or 5 hours. Is that asking too much for a sentence or two?

Been talking with Dan Amoto, Engineering Manager, over a decade. Really tried to be gracious but enough is ENOUGH.
