Also closing costs were almost 15k which was absurd for the loan amount. Was told that I would have to pay out of pocket fir an appraisal as well when everyone else can roll an appraisal into the closing costs. Would never recommend to anyone. So unless you enjoy being lied to and toyed with avoid at all costs when speaking with the owner regarding this gross error, i was told i was throwing a tantrum. not professional at all. stay away

He made the process so smooth and easy, I forgot it was happening - it was like a background task. Ian was on top of everything from start to finish, I didn't have to worry about a single thing. This company is a fraud. They did nothing to help reduce my taxes…read more They said I would receive a letter in mail with an update. After I paid the fee requested, I never heard back from them. When I called their office and spoke to Kirsten, she had a number of reasons why I did not hear back. None of the reasons were valid. When I told her I was filing a complaint, she said she would return my money. IT's been a month and I still have not received a refund. I had to complete numerous federal and NJ…read morestate tax returns and NJ estate tax forms such as L-4 forms and tax waiver requests, as the executor of my Dad's estate. My father was financially active until his death and had a lot of accounts, investments, unpaid bills and revenue streams. Max quoted me a fixed price and prepared all returns and other tax documents accurately and quickly and within the agreed-to price, which was very reasonable. He was able to give me excellent advice whenever questions arose. Even though I live 200 miles away in another state, he was willing to work with me over the phone and we managed all the back and forth of the paperwork via email or by mail. He was always extremely accessible, responsive and courteous. Today I receive the final notification from the state of NJ that the estate tax matters have been settled and closed. I highly recommend Max and MP Accounting for any routine or estate-related tax matters, especially NJ estate tax matters, you may need help with.

I do NOT recommend this place for your tax return needs…read more They used the wrong account information for our direct deposit even though we told them more than once that the bank account they had on file was no longer active. We even opted for the quick return so we could have our return in about a week, now we have to wait for the bank to reject the deposit, return the money to the IRS, and have the IRS mail us a paper check. What should have been a week is now going to take an extremely long time, this is money we were depending on. When we brought this error to their attention they had a "oh well" attitude, I understand nothing can be done but even the slightest bit of sympathy for them Fing up my finances for the foreseeable future would have been nice. Just absolutely no effort to right the wrong from them. If you feel like waiting extra extra long for your tax return this is the place to use!
