So my SUV gets a flat. My insurance provider assigns 1st response to tow my vehicle, after providing all the details on my vehicle and resin for the tow, I'm advised the ETA would be 40 minutes. After an hour goes by without any communication, I'm told my tow got cancelled due to 1st response Roadside not having a flatbed to accommodate my vehicle due to special tires. That I gave no problem with, waiting an hour to find out about the cancellation only after having to call for an update, yes, that's a big problem. One star cause Yelp won't allow zero! read more

I ordered a shipping container for storage for my back yard. The place that I ordered the container from hired this company. We had a big storm come through and the company cancelled the delivery. I understand that. They said they would be there on Monday or Tuesday from 10am - 6pm. Ok. that's fine too. When the truck got here the driver did not want to put the container in the back yard. He said there was a water main and other obstacles. the water main was far to the left of the ten foot gate heading to the back yard. The driver insisted he put it on the driveway. The company also referred to "Google maps" as to reference my yard had appliances in the front. We have no appliances in the front. This company got paid. I hope he uses it to train his driver (don't know if all his drivers are like this). I will not ever use this company nor will I recommend them. The worst experience I've ever dealt with in my life. The roadside assistance driver could not locate me, even with an exact address of where I was. When he finally arrived, he started yelling at me and wouldn't calm down. He said, "You know what, I don't even have to help you" and he got back in his truck and left. Beyond rude and unprofessional! If you need roadside, do NOT call them!!! read more

Do not use this company!!! They will not send anyone to you!!! Was originally told a driver would get to me in 30 minutes....3 HOURS later still no tow truck. They kept telling me "20 more minutes" "within the hour" "shouldn't be much longer" every time I called to check. Eventually my phone died, my car wouldn't start anymore so no ac in the 95 degree heat, stranded on the side of the interstate for hours. My sister had to walk until she found a truck weigh in station where there was a cop that sent highway patrol to us. We ended up missing our aunt's funeral in New Orleans because someone at this company decided to lie to us for hours that their driver would be arriving any minute. I tried calling them the next day to ask what happened, but they blocked my number...horrible company run by horrible people. read more

If I could give this than one star I would. My car broke down so I called for road side assistance through my insurance. I was assigned to this tow company with Michael as the driver. I was given an estimated time of 90 minutes. I was given and updated time of 30 minutes, an hour later still nobody. Total of Four hours later nobody had shown up, so I cancelled the service and left. The driver called and asked if I was still there. I told him no it had been four hours and I couldnt wait. He said that it wasn't his fault and that I wasted his time and hung up. Please save yourself the stress and don't use this company! read more

You Decide! I contacted Onstar who in turn contacted Allstate roadside and they contracted with1st response to tow my vehicle to Step One GMC. Mike called me said he was on his way. It wasn't long and he arrived. He backed his truck up to the back of mine and proceeded to hook up my truck. Once he loaded my truck we headed to the dealership. Mike makes a call to Allstate roadside stating this is a medium duty tow and this was contracted for a light duty tow and they would have to pay an additional $300. He then told them this was not an negotiation and they can call his office. Mike then called the office and said they need to fight this. Mike asked me if I had any tools in the bed of my truck, I sad no. He stated if I had one thing that was a pound and that was 10K pounds making this a medium duty tow. We arrived at the dealership at which time Mike informed me I was responsible for the en route fee and I would have to pay $22.50. He still had my truck in the air waiting on his office to tell him they(Allstate) had payed the additional fee. I called Onstar informed them my truck was being held hostage for payment. Shortly after calling Onstar my truck was released. I called 1st response the following morning after speaking with Onstar, who told me I was not to be charged any out of pocket expense. I asked for an explanation of the en route fee and was told the customer was responsible for the drivers travel from the business to the disablement on light duty tows. I asked for the manager/owner and was told he was not in yet. I asked he call me when he arrived. Minutes later Nina called me back and said she spoke with the owner and he apologized and that I shouldn't have been charged the en route fee due to a medium duty tow was approved and that covers the en route fee. She also went on to say that both she and Mike should have know this and not have charged me. I was refunded the $22.50. It is my opinion that had I not challenged the fee I wouldn't of received my refund. I later spoke with the owner because it is my opinion they overcharged Allstate. I spoke with the dealership and inquired how much my truck weighed. Curb weight for my truck is 7642. And speaking with both Allstate and Onstar a light duty tow is for vehicles up to 10K. The owner tried explaining to me that a tow was based on the weight of both the tow truck and vehicle being towed. So you decide if this is who you want to deal with. I have also filed a complaint with both Onstar and Allstate roadside. Safe travels to you all. read more
