Upon getting her car back, she realized that one of her pair of sunglasses, worth $500, were missing from her vehicle. the owner claims that his technicians wouldn't know how much they were worth because they are men, even though they are a popular designer brand, which many people would recognize. Police are now involved and this issue will be going to court regarding both the car and the "lost" sunglasses. I've been in the process of drafting this review for weeks now, for the sake of making sure the information I am providing to you is accurate and up to date. The car had to be towed to Land Rover to be worked on because allied made it undriveable after ensuring that they had the ability to work on land rovers. The dealership called us back to inform us that they had messed up all of the wiring to the engine, something they never had permission to do in the first place. The land rover staff was shocked and informed us that there was likely nothing seriously wrong with the car other than the wires that had been ruined by allied. This repair is now going to cost $4000 on top of whatever fees we will have to pay to litigate against allied motorworks, as well as the cost of replacing the stolen sunglasses. If you want to avoid a major headache and basically being robbed in broad daylight, avoid doing business with this company. TL; DR : They will ruin your car and steal from you, causing you to shovel thousands to an actual qualified mechanic. This business should genuinely be shut down.

It was 5:30pm and their listed hours say they close at 6 but I took the chance and went anyway. They stayed late to take a look at my transmission, said they didn't see a crack or leak, but it was low on fluid so they topped it off and sent me on my way. They were really nice and honest -- they could have told me anything and I would have believed them. They charged me 1/2 hour labor and that was it. The lobby area was messy and dirty but other than that I was very impressed.

We made it to Aamco an hour before they closed... they were able to get a new seal, install it, readjust our driveshaft at the differential, and get us back on the road before they closed, for $130. The manager was top-notch--- hilarious, kept us highly entertained as we waited, and he did a great job. When we lost our pin for our trailer hitch right as they were closing, he still managed to get another one for us, and figured out how to install it while the trailer was loaded and partially attached. And didn't charge us, and wouldn't accept a tip. When we first unhooked our trailer, we asked the mechanic if he didn't need a floor jack. He said no and just reached down and dead-lifted it up in the air. There was some weird confusion in the beginning of the deal, where there was a wrong address for an Aamco in Swanton that doesn't exist, and another Aamco number we called told us they were AAA Transmission which turns out to be located right next to Aamco and apparently used to be Aamco but lost their franchise, and still get the phone calls... it was confusing and awkward to start. The end results were great though.
