So, I frequent a lot of these types of shops. This was my first time visiting this one in Montville. This shop was weird, though; when I approached the store front, there was a large table full of brand new Donald Trump hats and banners. It was only Trump, not any other celebrity or politician, etc., and it was all brand new, so obviously not used or vintage. We're not talking like vintage items from prior political campaigns, etc., which I do sometimes see at other antique and consignment shops. It felt really off-putting, and it made me not want to support the business, so I did not buy anything. I just wanted to shop, not be reminded of politics, and I didn't need to know the shop owner's political stance or preferred candidate. Awkward and weird. I would not return.

Each item has a personally scripted price tag that tell you about the article of clothing. It lists the decade it originates from and the designer. It also tell you the size it actual fits, even if the original clothing tag disagrees, and a bust size which is so helpful since vintage clothing doesn't usually have the same stretch as modern pieces. She carries pieces in all sizes. I saw XS through 5X in the store with more than one each. the prices seemed very reasonable for what you were purchasing. The store smelled and appeared clean. the owner welcome me in and then let me shop- no hounding or frequent inquiries. I don't find anything for myself today, but I was charmed by her shop and mission. I wish I was local so I could peruse regularly.

The back has a clothing rack with sale items on it. Great choices. So pretty. Right next to it is a maker bin, it's a bin of items that need a little love and TLC. It's made up of room after room (after room!) of vintage finds and hidden gems. The store is actually a collection of different vendors, which gives it a unique, eclectic vibe. You'll find everything from clothing and collectibles to books, lamps, tools, and more. It's like a cross between a flea market and an antique shop--even some "sales" . The staff is very friendly. They also have a restroom available for customers. I needed a nap after I was done looking around.
