I wasn't expecting much cause it's also a boutique, so I figured it probably has the same old stuff you see at every other boutique. I wasn't expecting to walk into the back of the store to find a whole room full of records. Not only were there records throughout the room but they were all organized, labeled and even sections for heavy metal, rock, jazz, blues etc. I was able to go to sections and look for stuff without shuffling through things I'm not into. They have a good range of original records as well as newer records. Prices are decent as well. They also have another smaller room with CDs and cassettes, as well as a smaller section with some box sets. I probably spent about a half hour to 45 minutes just going through everything to see what I could find. I did grab some records and CDs. I will definitely stop by again if I'm in the area. Also I see a lot of reviews of the staff/owners being rude but that definitely did not happen in my visit. They greeted me when I walked in, asked if I needed help or was looking for anything and were very nice in general.

I picked up a really cool Faux Fur head band for a gift. I also noticed some really neat magnetic jewelry for a elderly friend. I met the owner Cindy. She was great! She showed me some of the beautiful trays. They will come in handy with all of the guests dropping by for the season. I was really wowed by the huge selection of unique gifts that Smoochie Bird offers. Do yourself a favor AVOID the malls and shop small at a fantastic find. Upon entering with our service dog, the owner informed us that dogs weren't allowed, leading me to leave while my partner continued shopping. Subsequently, the owner criticized our ability to read, citing a small, inconspicuous sign on the door. Note to management: If you want a no-dog policy, a microscopic sign in white on grey won't cut it. Perhaps a more conspicuous sign would save future customers from the vision test. That's why it took me three times driving by the building to figure out the entrance was noise in the back. To their credit they have a chalkboard sign in the front corner saying they moved. But in the sunlight and the sign being a little dark it was hard to notice. So we finally found the store. They share Parking lot with the next door laundry place. There are reserved spots for laundry patrons but I noticed that some of them were parking in the other spots next to the store so it was a little hard for parking. Going inside the set up was more warehouse styled. They had a few nice things but nothing resembling the pictures posted previously by others. Pictures and reviews are what led us to find the place. But we were disappointed to say the least.
