I went to this place to redo my progressive glasses after updating my prescription. I knew exactly what I wanted and I was very clear about it with both, the receptionist and the doctor. They were actually very nice, the eye exam seemed very professional, and they communicated everything pretty well. I liked that. But, unfortunately, they ordered wrong glasses - standard progressive (that were never worked for me and I knew that already) instead of desk progressive glasses (what I was communicating from the start "up to 3 feet"). This made me think that they were not listening to what I was telling them not only one time but at least three times. Everyone makes mistakes, it's obvious, and I would be OK with that if I didn't experience the following. The lady I was dealing with was lacking basic customer service skills. Instead of truly owning the mistake, she tried to blame the lab first (and that was a lie), and then she made me feel like I was unreasonable and exaggerating. What I was expecting was accountability and being attentive. I think it's not too much to count on if it comes to health care. For that they lost my trust and I was convinced to not go there ever again. They have never apologized. read more

Recently, I had what seemed like a contact, lens emergency; possibly a small piece of contact lens was stuck in my eye. My family had never been there before. The optometrist I normally see, was closed that day. My husband called the first optometry that was close by and it was 2 See Optometry. The office staff heard me crying in the background over the phone and told my husband to bring me in immediately . The office staff, and the optometrist were so welcoming, compassionate, understanding, thorough, proficient, patient and very friendly. They took care of me right away. They went above and beyond to answer all my questions. They offered wonderful advice. A prescription was ordered immediately for my eye. I will be changing to this optometry ,permanently. I went to this place with my wife as she has been going here for a year or so. There is plenty of parking and this place is just down the street from Von's and Bank of America. What is really nice about this place is the staff working here, they are professional and friendly. They make sure to constantly wipe things down and when they performed the eye exam they did not try to rush me through it like other places have. Pamela was the one that assisted me and my wife. She explained everything about the different options and also about the pricing, as she knew I was paying cash for my two sets of glasses I was getting. I made sure to get the best , the Blue Light Anti-Reflective and the Trivex lens. I had gotten the auto darkening lens in the past, but the type of work I do it is not really good to have this, plus driving at night created to much glare. This time I ordered two different types of glasses, one with clear lens and the other with tinted sunglasses and special Carbon Frames. When you go to this place make sure you check in with YELP and write a review and you will receive a bottle of cleaning solution for doing so. I will be returning in a couple of weeks to pick up both pairs of my glasses. read more

Thorough exam and excellent customer service! Prompt appointment. Highly professional

As much as I want to go 5 stars for a local optometry place, I can't do it. The doctors and customer service is perfectly fine, but this is one of those Doctors that upcharges you on as much as they can. I understand that it is the consumer's choice to take the upcharge, but most consumers just trust what the doctor suggests and goes with it. At this particular establishment, they push the upcharge to not only take full advantage of any insurance benefits (new frames, lenses, exam), but also push the out of pocket expenses of the "blue light" lens for $100+ and the Retinal imaging. I understand that these are "nice to have," but clearly this is also a big money play for the office. This reminds me of the dentists who are pushing the teeth whitening and invisalign because that is where they make big profits. It's the same thing here. The $100+ blue light lenses are the most crazy in my opinion. Competent doctors, but just we wary of the upcharges that come. read more

I can absolutely give this place 5 stars. Been here 2 years in a row with my second visit today. The doctor is extremely thorough and you can tell she takes her job seriously. I love the open ended questions and numerous opportunities to feel free to raise any concerns. Front desk is very helpful as well. She helped me pick a pair of glasses after listening to the style I was going for. In a day and age where doctors are trying to control the entire conversation in order to get you in and out with the least amount of hassle for them, this place stands out and I will call it the golden standard for what actual care should be. I just saw Dr. Alexandria Aguilera for a contacts/eye glasses exam and it was the most thorough, comprehensive, and friendly eye exam I've ever had! In the past, with other optometrists I feel like I didn't understand why they wanted to do additional imaging or what I should be expecting or looking out for with my vision, and she explained things clearly, so I felt comfortable. First of all, I have now bought two pairs of glasses from this business. The quality of the fitting and the lenses themselves is really what keeps me coming back. Costco and mail order have their place; but these lenses are just better. Maybe it is because the technicians know how to fit them, and they use field of vision choices that really work. I bought progressive glasses and progressive sunglasses here. I got my second, updated, subscription from Dr. Han. We both share the first name Catherine and the same spelling, which is unusual. Very personable service; I had to ask her to repeat some of exam tests just because I was a little nervous. This was a much better experience than the first one I had getting examined and fitted for lenses. I balked at the price and they were very reasonable about giving me a discount and showing me some very attractive budget frames, which I get compliments on. I get my frames balanced and tightened in minutes every time I drop by. The folks in the front office are really nice and my fittings are pleasant. read more

I came here with my three kids (ages 8, 5, and 2) and we were greeted right away by their friendly staff. We came about 10 minutes early to our appointment, so they took us to a nice sitting area and offered us water and snacks. My girls were a bit nervous to have their eyes checked but the eye exam went smoothly. The staff took their time to make sure we were comfortable and took the time to explain the process and address any concerns we had. They also have a great selection of eyeglasses ranging from various styles to different brands. I came here just to order new contacts (which I received on the same day!) but I also ended up getting a new pair of glasses as well! Gave this place several chances, but every single time they fail to meet my expectations. The staff does not communicate with each other and fail to notify you when your glasses are ready. I had to call three weeks after placing my order to see if they were ready and had to do the same with my parents glasses on separate occasions. I had previously left a bad review because their porter ranch location lost my brother in laws ray bans and Dr Han kept harassing my mom and sister to tell me to delete my review since it was hurting her business. The last time I went to pick up my dad's glasses she chased me to the parking lot to ask again to delete the review. I am writing a review today because my mom ordered some Michael Kors reading glasses and when she got them, the lenses were so thick and heavy. I was there with my mom when they were ordered. Now they are saying we have to pay extra to fix their mistake. In addition, we have been their customers for over 10 yrs, never have we received a discount. I noticed she only gives discounts to people of her own race. Dr. Han you just lost 5 customers. Maybe you should change the way you do business instead of harassing people to delete their reviews. read more
