The larger the group, the cheaper your own total will be! Your Wine Cellar is hidden inside of Brew Kettle and Top Golf in Strongsville, nearby Walmart. Don't be fooled by the outdated Google Images of a place with its own sign - it no longer is labeled clearly. Meg was our host and director of our wine making adventure. She was great! We went through a dozen or so rounds of wine tastings to decide, as a group, what we will make. Each sample is $1 and I only tried a few, sticking mostly to the fruity ones. I liked the California Moscato the best of the whites. I only tried one red, the Diablo. The Diablo was the one we ended up making. The making process took about 10 minutes. We also were able to order food from the Brew Kettle. The food I ordered for lunch will be part of the review I wrote for Brew Kettle, which will be published soon after this one. Overall, I had a fun time with my friends, learning about what kinds of wines we like and don't like. In 8 weeks, we are coming back to bottle and label our wines! The entire process ended up being $20-25 a person.

The venue is decorated in Cleveland art. There are couches, chairs, a long bar and tables of varying sizes for cozy get togethers. We started with a mini charcuterie. We then learned that 50 types of wine are made on the premises! We were treated to a wine flight of 4 varieties. I chose the Buckeye Blackberry Merlot. The Elite event included a DIY terrarium bar, hosted by Peace Lily Boutique Plant Shop. I finally have a new plant in my house after the long winter. It was great meeting YELP Elites. SERVICE: Service is pretty friendly but tends to be slower. What I love about here is that they can chill wine bottles upon purchase. Since there were no kids at the event, adults were drinking wine and playing with the science exhibits. It turned into one big party and like a playground for adults, which coming out of COVID, it was fun to see people that happy coming together. In the back, boats were also docked and hanging out so the location was pretty excellent. There were many vendors, a lot from California, Washington and Oregon. There were a few from Italy and the boarder regions of France, however surprised to see that there were not more. Also there were no South American wines and very few Australian ones. We talked to a lot of the vendors and they mentioned it is because the USA market has a taste for more sweeter wines. Although the event was fun and great to interact with the vendors, my husband and I prefer the dryer reds and less sweet wines. Seems that if that's what you are primarily looking for, may not be the right event for you, but we were able to find some good Pino Noirs from Washington and Oregon. Maybe in future events they can open it up to more diverse wines / sparkling wines.

It should have been much nicer for the price - I hope it was a fund raiser for the museum....

She baked each challah with love, and she's so passionate about her work. This isn't her full-time job, just a hobby turned passion turned side hustle.
