I was referred to Dr Chan by my brother several years back. Had 3 pairs of glasses and two pairs of sun glasses in her practice. One very memorable event that I still remember was when my son broken my glasses frame when I was sleeping. I called Dr Chan's office right away and she was able to see me the same day. My optometrist told my family that he had retired at the end of the last month. My parents needed a new eye doctor ASAP so my friends referred us to Dr. Chan. It was very easy to schedule an appointment. My parents were nervous about going to a new office after going to the same optometrist for 20 years. Once they met Dr. Chan and her staff, they were able to put my parents at ease. My parents said that they were pleased with the services and the variety of frames to choose from. My dad ended up going back to the office because his glasses wasn't feeling right on his face. Dr. Chan was very helpful and adjusted the frames for him so that it would be more comfortable. I love 20/20 eye wellness optometry. I had great experience there. The staffs are great. I was greeted upon entering the office. The place appears to be newly renovated, nice and clean. Sherry was patient with me picking out the right prescription sunglasses for me. They have a lot of options as far eyeglasses and sunglasses goes. I opt for the insert which work out for me as I don't like to wear contact lenses. Dr. Chan was professional and knowledgeable in examining my eyes and subscription. She even help checked out my eyes for any possible disease and even follow up with me on how I enjoyed my visit. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family. read more

Overall, 4 1/2 stars. Great service, and takes VSP. I needed prescription sunglasses, and already had a recent prescription so I can't speak to the quality of the exams or doctor. I met with Sherri to look at some glasses, and she showed me several that were great for the needs I explained. She was very friendly and patient, and showed me lens options I didn't know about. I got the feeling she was willing to do whatever it took to make me happy, which is not too common any more. I told her I needed them on a pretty tight time frame for a trip I was taking, and she overnighted the frames to the lab and made sure I had them in time! But........ when they came in, I had to send them back. :( This was the only downside to the experience. I had tried on a pair that was 61mm wide, and she mentioned the 64mm version might give me more room in the temples and confirmed that everything else would stay the same on the glasses. When they arrived, everything about them was different and they looked awful on me. I actually had to check the model # to be sure they were even the same glasses (they were). That meant I didn't have my glasses for the event which was definitely a bummer. To be clear, it was my choice to pick the 64, but I wish she had known that many dimensions would change, not just the width, so I could have made a more informed decision. That said, she was happy to send them back in and replaced them with the right size, which came in within about a week. New ones are perfect, prescription is right on, and the doc Alicia helped fit them perfectly. I'll definitely be coming back here in the future. read more

I'v worn glasses for about 20 years and need to work in front of computer for many years. I have found that my vision was always blurry even though I have a new prescription glasses from my old optometrists. Recently, I visited Dr. Chan office for my annual checkup as it is close to my work place. Dr. Chan provided me with the most thorough vision exam I've ever received. After finished some tests, Dr. Chan explained to me that my blurry vision was caused by the dry eyes. It was the reason why I never had an accurate and comfortable vision with any of my prescription eye glasses. After few treatments from Dr Chan, I have a remarkable improvement of my vision. The blurry vision and stinging were eliminated a lot. Dr. Chan's front desk was friendly and professional...everyone of them. I have been coming here since they opened two years ago. I have had great experience here. Alishia and her staff is very friendly. This office is very clean and has tons of glasses to pick from. They even have a room for you to kick back and relax your eyes! I just picked up some Blade style Addidas Prescription sunglasses, they're great. The lab that did the lenses initially messed up. Doctor Chan's Men caught it; they then proceeded to twist arms until the frames and the lenses were replaced. When you need results, for low out of pocket cost, this is the place. read more

This is by far the best optometrist I have ever been to! Hands down, no close seconds. I have referred all of my friends and co-workers here. The ones who have taken my advice agree. Alishia is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and genuine when it comes to helping her patients. She goes above and beyond what normal optometrists do. She has state of the art equipment and a friendly, professional and all around top-notch staff. Your exam starts with a 10 minute eye relaxation therapy in a massage chair and moves on to the best equipment around. Hate that machine that puffs air into you eyes? Me too! Don't worry, this place has the best equipment that won't give you whiplash. I could go on and on about how great Alishia, her practice, equipment and staff are but you should find out for yourself. Possibly the worst experience at an optometry. To begin with, I was given the wrong prescription for contacts twice. Then when I finally used my old prescription and ordered contacts, they forgot to call me to go pick them up after a month of waiting... When I contacted them and they finally had my contacts ready, I noticed they had placed an order with the wrong prescription number...I don't know how a service like this could get so bad. I highly recommend 20/20 Eye Wellness Optometry. I have been coming here since they opened ~2 years ago and every one of my visits has been awesome. Dr. Chan is extremely knowledgeable and she's been taking care of my dry eyes since I had my LASIK surgery at Kaiser. She offers great advice on how to take good care of my eyes and I always feel like I learned something. Staff are friendly and welcoming and they offer warm reminders for my appointments. Doctor Chan has the most important skill any medical professional can have; to extract maxium payment from insurance companies enabling lowest out of pocket payment. She got those guys at Eyemed to cough up enough for me to get the 3 pairs I needed. They also carry durable and inexpensive frames as well as all the new stuff too. I especially like that they carry the full line of Wiley X and addidas; so I don't have to go to a biker store to get prescription safety glasses that look good. The office furniture is comfortable,but, not too nice; so you can tell the money is going the eyeglasses not the pockets. When the lab broke my sunglasses and messed up the lense; she twisted arms and cracked skulls until they were perfect. The bottom line: Doctor Chan and her Men deliver. read more

Dr. Chan's care, concern professionalism and diagnosis have been greatly appreciated by my husband and I as we search to find new health care providers after moving to California from out of state.
