Went for an eye exam. Added all the extra screenings to check overall eye health. I saw Dr. Erika Park. The overall exam was good, efficient. The office itself has limited eyeglass/sunglass frames to pick from. Once my exam was complete, I reviewed my prescriptions. My eyeglass prescription only included my sphere. It did not include the cyc, axis, near add, int add, h prism, or v prism. I assume these aren't needed? I browsed their inventory and compared options I liked in store to online pricing. Online pricing was a better option for my preferences (as expected). Nonetheless, a decent place for exams. read more

What a stellar experience I have had with Ironhorse and the staff there. My family (2x kids and 2x adults) have been using them for the last couple of years but we all have bad eyes and need glasses - my 12yr old (who's prescription worsens each year) broke his a few weeks ago and at no charge they swapped the lenses into his old pair (thankfully he used the same frames) - not two days later they broke and ironhorse ordered him a replacement under warranty. In the meantime he had to use glasses for an almost 3yr old prescription and was having headaches daily as a result. We were anticipating the time for the replacement to come in a week and when it was delayed and I called, the staff scrambled to get him a replacement, called the rep who went out of their way to run them over by hand. All around I am so impressed and thrilled with the service and kind people that help someone in need. Thank you so much!!! read more

Iron horse has all the newest technology and equipment to take readings and scans of your eyes. The Doctors and the staff are all so wonderful to work with here. In addition to having all up-to-date equipment, which saves so much time when getting an eye exam, they also have a texting system where you can reach a live human to make quick appointments, check on the arrival of your glasses and contacts or any questions you may have. Being a mom of 4 these little time saving conveniences mean a lot. My son was very nervous about getting his glasses, and we were both very indecisive when it came to selecting a frame . Bunny was so patient and understanding while helping us through the process. My son went from tears to smiles when we had finally picked out his frame. There was a wide selection of children's glasses for my son to pick from and we were even able to select a color from the catalog that wasn't on the shelves. A couple of months ago, I took my son into the office to replace the nose pad on his glasses, which he broke off. Chloe replaced the nose pad and also noticed his lenses were heavily scratched. Since the lenses are under warranty, she requested a new pair of lenses. When the lenses came in, she replaced them and now they are super clear! I greatly appreciate Chloe's care for her patients and she ensures they receive the best. Also, I'd like to acknowledge Chloe's attention to detail and knowledge that the lenses were under warranty. I really enjoyed my interaction with the staff and Dr. Chiu. They were nice and patient. My uncertainty about the rating is the product choice they recommended. I thought the type of lenses was supposed to help with my computer vision. So when I picked up the glasses for fitting and experienced dizziness, I told the staff right away. She kindly let me know she would reschedule and have my eyes checked again. During the second time my eyes were checked, it was explained that this type of lenses are "supposed" to help strained eyes. I told her if that's the case I just need the very basic computer glasses. She did indeed change the prescription. Then I went in to pick up the glasses for the second time, supposedly a new simpler type of lenses and slight change in prescription. But once again. I felt no different than the first time. I felt dizzy and headache same as the first pair of lenses. I don't t mind the price but if I am paying for a pair of lenses that gives me negative effects. I won't be wearing it. I will go back to my basic blue light glasses. I don't need a refund for this fancy pair of glasses. I rather donate it. Maybe it's me that I don't fit this advanced type of lenses. But when I asked for reverting to the basic, I really thought I would get the basic. read more

The process can be daunting with the selection, but she made it easy with a few options based on what I told her I liked, and then helped me narrow it down to the pair. Would not go to them for myopia control for kids. I went to get mi sight contacts for my kid because they are listed as a provider. We paid for the contact lens fitting and when we went back for the prescription they said we can only get them through them if we sign up for a year long program which is thousand of dollars. You can buy these through Costco optical and other optical shops at a regular price. But they said they can't give us a prescription to do this - and this is after we paid them for the contact lens fitting. Felt like this was very dishonest and they are trying to make parents pay an extraorbitant fee for something they can get for a normal price elsewhere, hoping parents wont realize this. read more
