I was asked to send the unit back to get the refund. Once unit was sent back, I received an email detailing a completely different unit, and refusing to refund the broken unit. This place is SCAM, do not order from this place !!! unless you want to loose your money. Not only do they send you junk, they have you pay for the return of the broken unit and then refuse to refund you !!!

Ahmed gave me a price to do the chairs that was very competitive. He has fabric, or you can bring your own. He doesn't have a ton of fabric to choose from but his selection was absolutely fine for our purposes. He finished the chairs within a week. They look great and are very comfortable to sit on. He did exactly what we wanted. I'd definitely go to JL Upholstery again.

Told me that the two month delay was normal and that the sales person should have told us about this beforehand. I would have ordered my furniture two months earlier if this delay was known. I visited the store in August 2020 and was told it would be a good time to order in October to get delivery on time for early February. Feel very mislead. Would not recommend to anyone.

The store was in complete disarray, grouping pulled apart, mirrors on top of sofas and beds, stacks of product sitting on top of cabinets, a total mess. As I was leaving, I couldn't help but notice 2 more staff members joined the one behind the counter that was on her phone earlier and the 3 of them began to engage in personal conversations and NO ONE was being served in the store. I don't understand why there are such low ratings here. I'm sure many people here are just browsing, and I rather have a sales rep give us the space and only come to us if we need help and seriously find a piece we're considering. So I have no issues with how no one really came up to us. There's a lot of lighting, but personally, not enough contemporary/modern lighting to our liking. We did take some pictures of the few we liked that are more contemporary-inspired. However, we don't love it enough to pull the trigger. The prices for the lighting are very high for the ones we looked at, about $1500 (for that round chandelier) to $5600 (Criss Cross silver lighting). We liked the look of the round chandelier the most. To our surprise, our neighbour has the same one. So loses that unique appeal. Also don't know how we would change the light if it burns out? Lighting is all personal preference. This trip nothing really screamed "this is the one" for us. If you're into other design themes like traditional, industrial, mid-century modern etc, you may find there is more to your liking than the modern/contemporary styles here. I still recommend to check it out though for yourself if you're in the market for lighting.

Under normal conditions, once an order is placed, a confirmation of the order is sent out. As of today, March 31, 2023, nothing has been received. However, Lastman's Bad Boy charged my credit card. I attempted to call customer service March 29th and after waiting on hold for 15 minutes, I hung up. I then immediately sent an email as directed to do while online with no response. Friday March 31st, I called the Barrie location where I live and spoke to 'Barb'. She was very kind and understanding and subsequently advised that the order number I was provided with is wrong. Furthermore, I was informed that 1 of the items I purchased wouldn't be available until sometime in August 2023. If that's the case, why wasn't i informed? A phone call, message or email. NOTHING. Lastman's Bad Boy fraudulently charged my credit card without disclosing anything. My advice to anyone thinking of shopping at 'Lastman's Bad Boy', DON'T. IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!! Norm L
