Updating my review to rave about our recent service…read more Joined by my bestie and her husband who drove all the way from Denver to see us, my partner and I returned to The Blind Horse for a birthday dinner. My bestie is SEVERELY allergic to poultry and her husband was recently diagnosed with Celiac disease which means gluten is no good (even "cross contamination"). This makes finding a restaurant that can accommodate their needs a huge challenge. Our server went out of her way to talk to the chef and check things out. They were able to accommodate these specific diets and still beautifully create their entrees. It has been horrible to adjust life with Celiac, so when the food came out, I really thought there might be some tears of joy. ;) This gave us more reasons to come back! Thank you!

We saw there were little signs by the doors that tell you what building is what. Once inside, we were seated immediately. Our waitress got us drinks within a minute of sitting down. I think her name was Ella or Ellie- she was very good. Knew when to come over and when to not come over. I ordered the lobster cargot for an appetizer - it didn't have much taste so I would pass on this in the future. The corn chowder was amazing !!!! Very flavorful. My lobster ravioli had a very nice portion size and lots of extra lobster. Our bill for 2 people who each had two alcoholic beverages was $150 with the tip. Cute date night spot. The reason for the 4 star was the blackened snapper paella wasn't good. The fish was burnt not blackened. My friend took the bottom off because of how burnt it was.

John Ruskin: "Life without labor is guilt; labor without art is brutality." The JMK Art Museum celebrates art that is created not so much by highly trained or famous artists, but by regular people who have found sincere and approachable ways to express themselves. That is what makes the experience feel so genuine and human. I very much enjoyed all of the installations in this small but distinguished museum. It is thoughtfully curated, inspiring, and quietly powerful in its message. I would absolutely enjoy coming back to see future installations. A real gem for Wisconsin. ps - And don't forget to check out all of the bathrooms!

This art center is one of the best I've been to because of the variety of art I loved exploring all of the bathrooms. Those were some of my favorite, and I also really enjoyed the exhibit that had a variety of art from artists and hobbyists all over Wisconsin with different medias. For a free arts center I spent about an hour exploring. Add this to your list of Sheboygan visits.

Who wants to be cold?!). You turn your car radio to a station and then the music is set to the lights. I should be able to figure out how they do this, but it's more fun to think it's the magic of the holiday season! Leg lamp lit up? Yes! Gris wild themed lights? Yes! Singing angles and dancing elves with Santa's workshop? Yes! They're all here! Perfect length, nice route and a good spot for food or cash donations (though not required). This is a wonderful little spot if you're in the area during the holidays! And if you are paying attention well, one of the nearby homes has a nice, large leg lamp in their front window. Coincidence??!

I ordered the chicken tenders and the person with me ordered the brie platter. Both were amazing. My chicken tenders were some of the best I've ever had. I don't know what they used in the breading, but it was excellent. I tried a tasting of the sweet wines and love the blackberry wine and the peach Chardonnay. They also have outdoor seating. We did sit inside, if you're up in that area definitely go check it out.

Both the wine and the chocolates were very nice. We wound up buying a bottle of the Tuscan reserve to take home with some of the chocolates we couldn't finish. After a rest we came back for dinner at the Granary Bourbon bar. We were warmly welcomed. We liked the casual vibe and surprisingly it was not too loud. We started with a flight of old fashioned cocktails. We tried vanilla bean, honeycomb, and our favorite the cinnamon appke. For dinner we both had the Friday perch fry. The perch itself was very good with a nice panko coating. The fries were good too but they could have been warmer. Our server was very attentive and friendly. They were definitely on the game. Can't wait to return!
