My wife came across them on Yelp! and we hired them to do the photo and video shoot for my parents' 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary. Mind you, we hired them less than a month before the actual event. David and Jerome took the time to do a phone call with us and walk through the entire itinerary of the day from the ceremony at Mission San Diego through the entire reception at the Gaylord Pacific. I really enjoyed working with all of them. They were so kind, warm, and detail oriented. I can't say enough about Fate Studios and how they made this event a truly memorable event! I also pitched an idea to Jerome about doing an AI video of my parents, describing their love story and how they met 50 years ago in the Philippines. Jerome has years of experience as a filmmaker in the Philippines and has worked for one of their large TV networks there, so he's a pro. I was nervous that we wouldn't have enough time to take this video from start to finish, but Jerome assured me that he could deliver. We presented the surprise AI video to my parents after we showed their slide show and the crowd was truly mesmerized! Many of our guests told me that the AI video was an awesome concept. But let me say that David, Jerome, and their team were awesome! I feel as though I gained some friends for life. The second I met them in person it felt like I had known them for a long time. They also knew how to get my parents to take pictures. You know, once you get older the excitement for these kinds of things is not the same as when you first got married :). So if you need a great team of folks who just make you feel at ease with a big event, look no further! Fate Studios is an amazing team and I encourage anyone who is looking for photographers/videographers to give them a call. They are well worth it!

Wanted to get about 4 poses, 2 photos each for a total of 8, with a max spend of $150-200. The cheapest option was $139 for a single photo. Second cheapest was $250 for 15 photos. Absolutely, ridiculous price when I can pay for a private photographer to shoot in the field for $400 and send me 60 edited shots. Or go to Sphere self serve photo and get a 15 min shoot with 60 edited shots for only $89. Employees and management were rude and would not work with me at all on pricing. They also would not refund me the $40 I spent to reserve my 30 minute slot less than 24 hours ago. They had open availability all day today, I wonder why. Very disappointed, this is not a way to treat a potential customer! You could've had my business if you just tried a little harder, sad!

I just had a maternity shoot with Celi & oh my goodness I am in love with the photos!…read more With an almost two year old we had a rough morning.... I didn't think any of the family photos would be usable :P my daughter is not one to pose and stay still. Celi was so kind and brought blocks for her to play with. She loved them & they helped to distract during the shoot. Celi's patience and flexibility with us put me at ease as we took some solo photos, some with just my husband and I, and family shots whenever our daughter would sit still. Great turn around time with the photos as well. Often times you hear it could take weeks for other photographers to have them ready. Thankful to have Celi capture this time as we grow into a family of four!

Both Pauleen and Myro are incredibly talented and professional photographers. Pauleen helped make us feel entirely at ease in front of the camera with her directions and constantly hyping us up. On our wedding day, she knew all the best photo spots at our venue and was able to get us a wide variety of photos for our couple's portraits. Myro did a fantastic job getting photos of all our guests during the cocktail hour. We had several guests compliment how friendly he was and how many people he captured. True team helped us create a thorough timeline while offering suggestions/clarification so we knew what to expect and see the vision! Alex, Sheryl, and Dillan were assigned as our wedding day True team! Alex kept us on track with getting important photos and staying within the timeline. Alex was clear on posing directions and had such a calm demeanor/communication style that helped me feel reassured. Sheryl was our second photographer who captured the best candids and fun moments (e.g. one of the groomsmen had his shirt off and I didn't know until we saw the photos! HAHA). Dillan was here, there, and everywhere to get the best angles for our first dance, games, and guest reactions. Looking at our photos, I'm floored with how beautiful they turned out!
