Finally a good print shop in San Diego! I was referred by another art friend to come try and get my prints and stickers done here. I had a fantastic experience here with such a quick turnaround and attention to detail. I've had really bad experiences in the past where print shops will print stuff darker or in thin paper even though you specify certain quality standards. These homies are the real deal. I was pleasantly surprised how many samples they have and will print in about almost anything. You need stickers? Done. You need art prints? Done. You need to print custom VHS covers? Done. My first review and I had to do it just for Inscriptu! Dots (who is super sweet and friendly!) helped me out with three orders and was able to fulfill all of it in such a short amount of time. There was also another person who helped me out who was really nice (wears a cap and cool gages haha). The first order, which were plaques, were completed in a week. The second order, which were a bulk of badges, were done in the same time frame as well. Surprisingly, the prices are cheap and affordable because the quality of the items are SUPERB and top-notch. I put in a request for a quote, got one reply that was not timely and then I followed up with more information to get a quote on the job I was looking to print. I reached out several times with zero reply at all. I had a fabulous experience getting scans and prints made of a few of my art pieces! I had never gotten prints made before, and so after a previous printing shop lectured me for over an hour on how I basically needed to reevaluate my entire life before they would consider working with me, I was feeling defeated and embarrassed that I had even thought my work was worth getting prints made. I went to Inscriptu for printing services for my and my husband's business; we needed certificates printed. The quality of the certificates was great, but unfortunately, one of the sets of certificates' designs was cropped, and they didn't notify us about it at all. But I was willing to give them another chance, seeing as they were able to print them so quickly and the quality of the paper was great. I have been trying to get more certificates printed and it was so difficult to get a hold of them. I finally got a hold of them, and they told me to set up an account and order a quote for my certificates. That was July 5th, and I have yet to hear from them. I don't think it should be this difficult to reach a business. Their customer service and response need a lot of work. I hope they get better, but until then I will be looking for another printing business. read more

I don't know where to start! WOW! I was looking for somewhere to scan a high resolution image of one of my watercolor paintings and boy did they get the job done! Watercolors are sometimes super hard to scan because of how light they are and they managed to scan it so the scan looks hand painted !! Not only that but Dots squeezed me in (TWICE) so I didn't have to wait for my scan!! The whole staff is so friendly and so professional!! My new go to place! Save the date poster: Dots helped bring my design to life - we wanted something unique for our save the date and decided to go with a small poster size design. Dots helped us choose the perfect dimensions, paper type, and a prefold option. She was patient with our request to get proofs in 3 different colors and offered genuine feedback. 10/10 customer service. I was in love with the final print! 2. Wedding Invite: I had a special idea in mind for the wedding invites I illustrated and Dots helped my project across the finish line. The invite was laser, cut in-house, to accomplish my vision of a 3-fold invite. The map of San Diego and the details card were also printed there as well. We were on a tight deadline and we were so grateful she worked with us to quickly turn these around. 15/10 amazing customer service. 3. Misc items: we also had custom stamps made here. One with our return address to easily mark envelopes and a heart design with our initials on them for the mailed invites as well. A very helpful business who does quality work quickly. One of our moms had made special Fathers Day cards for all of the dads on our daughter's softball team, but there was a problem with three of them. We didn't have time to wait for the original company to mail out new ones. When I presented the problem to Dots at Inscriptu, she went out of her way to make sure the cards were spot on to the others, making sure the photos were of good quality, and that the colors matched the originals. I went in at 9:30 and the work was ready by 1:00pm. We will be returning here for all of our printing and engraving jobs in the future.
