1/10: I have never felt so immediately welcomed at a business as I did at 207 Laser. I was so nervous, but when I came in for the first time the entire staff - like they had known me my whole life and were genuinely excited to see me again, despite never having met me before - greeted me with an enthusiastic, "Hi, Steff!" It felt genuine. It was so warm, like a hug with words. As did the space/waiting room which is so lovely and so inviting. I'm currently working with Christopher May, and he was a joy to talk with. He was so personable; I appreciated how distractingly chatty (in the most engaging and friendly way possible) he was, because it made the experience seem much less painful and much more quick than it probably was. He's got really good energy, and I felt comfortable from the first moment we talked on the phone for my free consultation (and I had endless questions then). It's infrequent these days that your first experience with a business is an immediate success, but I knew from the moment I walked into 207 Laser that I made the right decision. But... In March of 2021 I went in for some fillers. Never having fillers in the Portland area, I was excited for my upgrade. It had been over a year, due to Covid. I got a very enthusiastic injector! She said she's a perfectionist and would take care of my festoon area! An area beneath the eyes that has a puffy line, exacerbated if tired or with alcohol consumption. She injected a lot of filler in places I'd never received it before! I kept stating my preference to not use a whole tube, to start slowly, to look natural. I left there looking horrible. I iced and elevated, hoping to reduce the terrible under eye look that had been achieved. I flew off to my planned destination and 2-3 weeks later my festoons were a shelf in the middle of my cheeks. I went to a medi spa in Florida. My PA indicated that festoons should never be treated with the product used, juvederm plus. I went into the Florida facility twice to have the filler dissolved. It is 16 months later and I am still living with a bump in my under eye area! If they had done their research they would realize this is not a proper product to use in that part of the face. They did refund me for that part of the treatment, yet it didn't cover the cost or pain of having it only partially dissolved/removed. Please be careful when going here and be sure you only receive treatments that can do no harm. read more

The clinic rescheduled my appointment with less than 24 hours notice despite having scheduled my appointment 3 weeks in advance. When I drove to their facility, I was stuck in traffic (vehicles were stopped for over a mile) and arrived 7 minutes late for a 30 minute appointment. They refused to see me, despite my willingness to accommodate their poor scheduling at the last minute. Why were they so unwilling to be flexible with me as I was with them? Had they offered at least partial service, I would not be so frustrated, but there were 23 minutes remaining in my appointment and they told me point blank that I "could not be seen". read more

I'm Tia- I have always been bothered by acne scars on my back, and when I heard that laser treatment could lighten them, I became very interested! Chris was so awesome,and so were the ladies who were working there! The treatment only took about 10 minutes, and we could already see results when leaving. This is the best place in Maine to get laser hair removal! I am from New York City and had a top dermatologist there so I am very picky about my laser hair removal. Wow. I could not have had a better experience. First, I went in for my free consult and everyone treated me like I was family before knowing any of them. They offered me coffee and took my coat--that's some serious customer service right there. I had my consult with Naomi who taught me more about my skin in 30 minutes than the hundreds of hours of YouTube videos I had been watching prior. She was aware of my budget and my needs and quickly recommended the type of treatment that would fit me. A week later I came back for my Vitamin C peel. Naomi put on calming music, got me comfortable and just like that I was off into dreamland. It was the most relaxing and comfortable facial I had ever had. I looked in the mirror afterwards and my face was GLOWING. My face actually glowed for the next 3-4 days and I could really feel my skin sucking in my products much more effectively. It's been three weeks since my appointment for a laser skin rejuvenation session, and I want to put in a good word for this place. I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in and was welcomed by the receptionist. She was very nice and understanding when I was late and they still made time for me. Chris explained the procedure to me before we started, and he said something like "usually in about three weeks people start noticing the change and get the compliments about their skin". I have to tell you, I was surprised when exactly that happened three weeks later! (how did he know?? next time I will ask more questions) My skin is visibly more even - the result that I haven't seen after a number of microdermabrasions or chemical peels that I tried before. I know that my skin will need a lot more work to reduce the appearance of acne scars, but now I know that I can expect real results instead of promises. So, I will definitely come back!
