After finding this business on Yelp, and reading the good reviews, I messaged him and found out that he would be at my local farmers market the following weekend. Took my very expensive Miyabi knives to him and he promptly sharpened all of them within 45 minutes. The edges look fantastic, and the knives are cutting as well as when they were new! Returned the following weekend with my mandolin, pizza cutter, and another favorite knife of my hubby's. All also beautifully sharpened. Highly recommend! read more

Didn't sharpen as well as I'd hoped. Gave them my very dull 20cv pocket knife to sharpen and got the knife back about half as sharp as when I bought it. It doesn't seem to hold as good of an edge as I remember and it wasn't too sharp on a paper and cardboard test either, unless the paper/cardboard was cut horizontally. The knife chops surprisingly well, however. I plan to send it to the manufacturer for resharpening soon. read more

It was extremely easy and convenient to hire Cary to come to my house to sharpener a number of Japanese knives and a heavy steel clever. He took the pieces to his vehicle and returned a short time later with sharpened knives that were also polished. I like sharp knives but I almost always put off going to the local knife sharpening store because I did not want to be without them for a few days. This mobile sharpening service was the answer to my dilemma. He arrived on time and one hour later all of our knives and some gardening tools where sharpened and at a good price. Outstanding! I contacted Cary in a pinch, our pneumatic press blade (used for cutting thick cardboard) had dulled bringing production to a screeching halt. Even though he had never worked with this type of blade before he had no problem coming to our location with in 4.5 hours of initial contact to provide rush service and get us back online. He arrived in his mobile sharpening van which is decked out to the top with all the finest equipment a sharpening service would need, and promptly at the time he said he would. He had a great attitude and was able to reconfigure his equipment to service our needs. With in 30 min of arrival our blade was sharper than ever before, and as we all know a sharp knife is a safe knife. He followed all standard covid-19 protocols, had no issues dealing with the demanding security protocols the food packaging industry requires, and was able to set us up with invoicing as a vendor for monthly scheduled sharpening. Just do it. My husband kept "sitting" on the desire to get our knives sharpened and wanted to take them to the shop over by Costco.
