We wanted to combine house/electro music (e.g. Fred Again, Daft Punk, Disclosure) with 90s/2000s rap (e.g. Outkast, Kanye, DMX) and classic funk (e.g. Brothers Johnson, Chic, Gap Band) so it was a dance party yet fun and relatable to everyone. We also didn't want corny wedding songs like chicken dance/cha cha slide, so Rex stuck to his guns and just let it rip.
