Now don't get me wrong, I agreed to it otherwise I would have been sleeping in my car or driving 30 mins ea way from Jefferson City. But it's kind of like pricing gas at $10 / gal when there's a hurricane. So past that it was all good. My room was massive - almost to the point of "what's the point of having all this space?" Separate living / entertaining room and about a 30 x 20 bedroom and huge bathroom. Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, auto blinds and a few other perks. Location is great as is Glen's Cafe (fabulous wine list) and all the bars inside. Room service was prompt and delicious. Reminds me a bit of McMenamins Bar/Hotels around Portland, OR. I did valet car because $25/day is a steal compared to any other hotel I've stayed and parking around the area is very challenging. I would definitely stay again minus the ridiculous cost.

Our room was clean and comfortable. We LOVED Love Coffee in the lobby area and enjoyed their lattes each morning during our stay. Glenn's Cafe (est. 1028!) served excellent food and their wait staff was outstanding. The standout for us was Twain - a speakeasy bar in the lower level of The Tiger. Great BBQ food - all local to Missouri - great ambiance and wonderful beer or cocktails. The staff here was so helpful and couteous. We enjoyed the leather backed chairs and a cocktail as we looked out the large windows to the streets of Columbia outside. A good night! Only criticism/suggestion: housekeeping in the public (specifially elevator areas on floor 2) could be substantially improved.

It is a little dated but so is grandma's house, right?! Bed was a king, comfy, soft sheets. Every amenity you might need from iron to a safe, to microwave, coffee pot & fridge were provided. Bathroom was very clean and safe. Huge carb-laden buffet with waffle maker. Concerned that the sausage gravy that was in a crockpot was cold and had to be microwaved on a Styrofoam plate. Cereals, pastries, bananas and apples, bread, bagels, cream cheese, peanut butter, butter. But no meat or eggs. I always go for hard-boiled eggs if available. Coffee dispenser and Lipton. Juices. Milk. My kids would have loved it! The waffles smelled amazing! Staff at the desk are very nice and a guy was working hard in the massive laundry room (door was open and on the way to the front lobby) and several maid's carts parked outside the laundry. I know that many places are struggling for staff these days, and I admire the folks who work hard to provide for others.

Note: you can share the key but that other person must have the app and be a Hilton member. The room was very clean and the maid service checked after one night to see if we needed anything since we were staying two nights. The pool is a little small but we were more interested in the hot tub. The exercise room was used quite extensively by several people. We were tired after our long drive so we decided to stay in and eat at the hotel. My burger was good and my SO's pasta was also of good quality. Prices were very reasonable so we had adult beverages also created to perfection. Nice experience nice stay the only drawback was the thin walls that made every knock and shower by other visitors a bother. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would consider them again if we were in town.

It's the Garden Inn with a little snack shop, bar and restaurant inside which is convenient. I started checking in via digital key so can't comment on staff, wait time, etc. But it was a busy football weekend at Mizzou so hotel was completely booked. But it didn't feel that way, and it was easy to navigate, park, get bar service, etc. The room was very clean and fairly standard as well. Bed fairly comfy, large TV and newish bathroom. The only downsides (which are both pet peeves), the faint smell of mildew, and they use a water softener so I always left my shower feeling slimy. The hotel is on the north side of 70 but an easy 5 min drive to downtown or campus. And it's typically much lower cost vs hotels closer to town. Overall I would recommend.

Clean linens for bed and bath, locks and plumbing work and the air is properly conditioned. it's the little things like carpets in the common areas that's going to need replaced sooner rather than later and corner beads need a better paint match and a dearth of USB ports that keeps this from being a five star location (plus I'd really like a reusable plate for breakfast) but those same things mean I can afford to stay here so there's that. anyway, it's HIE and it's well suited to my travel needs so yeah, I'd sleep here again.

When we return about an hour later the room is still at 68 degrees. I go to the front desk and mention this to the woman at the desk and she ask ME to do some troubleshooting with the thermostat and give it about 45 minutes to correct itself. I asked the same woman at the front desk could I have an extra blanket or sheet because my wife is really cold. Her response was " we dont have any extra blankets because its graduation week and all our linen is taken for the rooms occupied and we only have sheets for queen beds and we cant give that to you because you have a king bed" My response was she wants it to wrap around herself and I was still denied by the front desk. Well i wait the time and go back to the front desk and speak with Mathew, not only did he get my wife and extra small blanket, but he came to the room to see what the problem was and has soon as he walked in, he noticed how cold the room was. He called maintenance and someone came out and said there was something going on with the unit and he went to investigate, guy came to the room and told me it was fixed but he wanted to check something and would come back to my room to assure me that everything was fine. We he never did and my room was still cold, I talked to the new front desk person and he said he could see the room wasnt heating up and he was sorry Well I guess the room got to 78 degrees around 3am because when I woke up the front desk person said he could see when the heat starting working. Justin the new desk manager knew of the problem and said he was sorry and that he would talk to someone to see if he could throw in 1K points for my trouble. The hotel response has been terrible. I didnt asked for a refund as their text stated, I was OFFERED 1K in points. However I would like to thank Mathew for furnishing my wife the OUT OF STOCK BLANKET. If I knew How to screen share the chat I had with the hotel I would.
