Now don't get me wrong, I agreed to it otherwise I would have been sleeping in my car or driving 30 mins ea way from Jefferson City. But it's kind of like pricing gas at $10 / gal when there's a hurricane. So past that it was all good. My room was massive - almost to the point of "what's the point of having all this space?" Separate living / entertaining room and about a 30 x 20 bedroom and huge bathroom. Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, auto blinds and a few other perks. Location is great as is Glen's Cafe (fabulous wine list) and all the bars inside. Room service was prompt and delicious. Reminds me a bit of McMenamins Bar/Hotels around Portland, OR. I did valet car because $25/day is a steal compared to any other hotel I've stayed and parking around the area is very challenging. I would definitely stay again minus the ridiculous cost.

Our room was clean and comfortable. We LOVED Love Coffee in the lobby area and enjoyed their lattes each morning during our stay. Glenn's Cafe (est. 1028!) served excellent food and their wait staff was outstanding. The standout for us was Twain - a speakeasy bar in the lower level of The Tiger. Great BBQ food - all local to Missouri - great ambiance and wonderful beer or cocktails. The staff here was so helpful and couteous. We enjoyed the leather backed chairs and a cocktail as we looked out the large windows to the streets of Columbia outside. A good night! Only criticism/suggestion: housekeeping in the public (specifially elevator areas on floor 2) could be substantially improved.

I liked it! Making a reservation was super easy through the Hilton main Phone number. I was able to…read morecheck in via my phone and the Hilton App. And, the door key was on my phone with the app. So no need to go to the front desk upon arrival. Note: you can share the key but that other person must have the app and be a Hilton member. The room was very clean and the maid service checked after one night to see if we needed anything since we were staying two nights. The pool is a little small but we were more interested in the hot tub. The exercise room was used quite extensively by several people. We were tired after our long drive so we decided to stay in and eat at the hotel. My burger was good and my SO's pasta was also of good quality. Prices were very reasonable so we had adult beverages also created to perfection. Nice experience nice stay the only drawback was the thin walls that made every knock and shower by other visitors a bother. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would consider them again if we were in town.

It's the Garden Inn with a little snack shop, bar and restaurant inside which is convenient. I started checking in via digital key so can't comment on staff, wait time, etc. But it was a busy football weekend at Mizzou so hotel was completely booked. But it didn't feel that way, and it was easy to navigate, park, get bar service, etc. The room was very clean and fairly standard as well. Bed fairly comfy, large TV and newish bathroom. The only downsides (which are both pet peeves), the faint smell of mildew, and they use a water softener so I always left my shower feeling slimy. The hotel is on the north side of 70 but an easy 5 min drive to downtown or campus. And it's typically much lower cost vs hotels closer to town. Overall I would recommend.

This is a nice, quiet place that had a good rate and wasn't unbearably far from downtown. The only…read moreissues I had were housekeeping related. If you stay here for a visit you'll definitely need a rental car or some way of getting around as there isn't a whole lot near by, and it's even surprisingly farther from the airport than I was expecting, too. You'll get a nice room though at not too bad of a price (at least when I stayed). The room was clean for the most part, although there were one or two odd housekeeping issues ranging from tough to spot (an odd red streak stuck to the bathroom door around eye level) to easy to spot (popcorn from the previous guest still on the floor when I got in). The kitchen in the suite is a nice size for a small hotel room, and if you don't have the time or desire to head out for meals while there, there's a Walmart a few miles from the hotel where you could pick up groceries to cook up in the hotel room if you wanted. The breakfast in the morning also seemed better stocked than other Marriott properties I've been to - the only complaint there was that it didn't open super early. I wouldn't mention it anywhere else but Columbia Airport has a few super early flights as their morning rush, and if I wanted to stick around for the start of breakfast the day of my flight I might not have had enough time to get back to the airport. Overall a nice place to stay if you've got some way to get around.

Kitchen was fully stocked with everything but food. Living room had a desk, tv and couch. Big bathroom with a huge shower. The bedroom was bigger then our own master bedroom. You really could live here. All the furniture looked similar to IKEA stuff and the closet had an Elfa closet system. I really felt like we were the first to ever use this room till I started using the coffee pot. The coffee pack from the previous guest was still in the top. Breakfast was pretty good but scrambled eggs would have made it better. I also heard staff concerns about spoiled milk in the fridge. Attention to detail is everything in the hotel industry. The pool is outside, not sure why in Missouri you would do that with a brand new build.
