Outside of no pets side of hotel
    Doiku N.

Receptionist okay however other untidy looking stayers wandering the hallway and patrolling outside corners of the building. Can smell cig smoke in hallway and right outside building guests smoke. One of the beds had wrinkled sheets and the other had smooth pressed sheets. Dried brown blood stains on fitted sheets. Floor not vacuumed. Carpet to bathroom floor can see dried hair. Sink had many cracks. Calking not clean. Sink next to ice machine has dirty open plumping. Looks like hotel had superficial work done. Surrounding sidewalk is very uneven. Overall did not feel clean. A pro is the fridge works great!

This place barely deserves one star. I don't even know how the place is in business. The only reason I'm okay with rating it a single star, instead of insisting that it deserves zero, are 3 reasons: the lady at the front desk was very nice, it was inexpensive (this could also be a con...you get what you pay for), and it is pet friendly. The room itself was DISGUSTING. I could barely get any kind of sleep, didn't even want to stay there, but my husband insisted it was fine for one night. It smelled like cleaning chemicals when we first entered the room, which seemed promising to me. The longer we were in the room though, the more I smelled pee. Very strongly. Musty. It made it hard for me to breathe. I'm guessing they douse the room with air freshener before you get there, but when it settles, you can smell the truth! I wouldn't allow any of my family to shower there, the tub was disgusting. The bathroom floor was sticky, and the carpet in the room also made my feet sticky. I laid down the bath towels provided on the carpet so I could avoid stepping on the carpet. It didn't feel clean at all. Our curtains were broke, so they wouldn't stay closed. I used my hair clips (pictures) to keep them drawn, because being on the first floor, didn't wanna risk waking up in the middle of the night and seeing anyone passing by the window, or worse, peeping in! Also, our sink wouldn't drain. I didn't mind the dated furniture, functionality and cleanliness are most important to me. But in case it's important to you, the rooms are not updated in the least. The place is gross. Beware!!!

Absolutely the worst in every way!!! Filth, terrible customer service and before I arrived they had charged my visa for two nights even though I reserved for only one night and also told them only using card to reserve.. would pay cash. They could not refund my visa.. I will have to contact visa and my bank!!! I'm so upset! This place is unsafe! We gave drove 10 hour and exhausted.. the town hotels are all full or we would leave now..

Filthy bathtub . We put a Towel put down to cover up the dirt

Spent less than 12 hours at this hotel. Plenty of parking. Depending what room you are in you may have to move your car. I parked near the entrance for check in and ended up moving the car to be closer to the room. Check in was easy. Front desk staff was nice and friendly. Smelled popcorn but we had missed the kick back and they had popcorn and sodas in the lobby. Got a room on the 2nd floor. Dropped off stuff in room and headed to the pool. Pool is indoors so it was pretty loud but found a table to sit at while kidlet swam. Also had a hot tub. It was pretty busy in there. After the pool headed out to get food. Lots of fast food restaurants in the area (McDonald's and Culver's are where we ended up). Room was cozy with a large bathroom (compared to the Pear Tree in we had stayed at on this trip). Room was clean, AC got nice and cool. Called front desk to find out where laundry room was. Sent kidlet to front desk to get quarters and headed to the 4th floor to start laundry. Did laundry, ate dinner, had showers and watched food network till bed time. Curtains let in a fair amount of light but had a sleep mask. Slept good. Woke up next morning hit up breakfast, checked out and made our way to STL. Elevator was out the morning of our check in but we were on 2nd floor so it didn't affect us as much as those on the upper floors having to bring their luggage down. Had a pleasant stay and would stay again if in the area.

It was so perfect that I was able to walk everywhere I needed to be or where I wanted to go. My room was on the sixth floor and faced Broadway. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfy. I loved the pillows and will most likely be ordering the same brand for my home. The room had a closet that stored a full size ironing board and iron. It also had a small icebox and a safe for valuables. There was also an easy chair for relaxing and reading. The television was huge and had a personalized message welcoming me, as a Hilton Rewards member. The bathroom had a walk in shower and full sized bottles of toiletries attached to the shower wall. Having a walk-in shower at home, I greatly appreciated this. The bathroom was also a good size. Most hotel bathrooms make me feel claustrophobic, but not this one. Their cleaning staff was prompt and efficient. I love coming back to a straightened room, a made bed and fresh towels. That is all part of vacation experience. The front desk staff was friendly and professional. They made both my check-in and out, very smooth and easy. There's a parking garage next door and I recommend paying for the daily park yourself. You'll not only save $'s, but you wont have to wait for the valet to fetch your ride. When I come back to Columbia for an overnight visit, I'll be staying here again.

3410 Clark Lane, Columbia, MO…read more This property presents serious and systemic sanitation concerns that create an environment best described as unsafe, unsanitary, and profoundly misrepresented. Based on multiple direct observations throughout the facility, I cannot recommend this location under any circumstances. The most alarming issue is the pervasive lack of cleanliness and hygiene across both private and shared spaces. Upon arrival, the hallway immediately conveyed a strong odor consistent with wet animals and bodily activity, setting the tone for what followed. Directly across from our assigned room, a door was left open to a unit that appeared to be in the process of being "aired out," with laundry bins and soiled contents visible--an unmistakable indication of unresolved cleanliness issues. Inside our own room, further evidence reinforced this pattern. The ceiling showed visible signs of water damage and permeation. Basic fixtures were either broken or incomplete, including missing or nonfunctional toiletry dispensers. When we requested body wash, it was not provided through proper amenities but instead handed over in a separate bottle, suggesting improvised rather than maintained standards. The sanitation concerns extended beyond the room into the hotel's shared amenities. The swimming pool was visibly unclean, and I personally removed debris from the skimmers, including dead insects and hair clippings. The Jacuzzi was in a severely compromised state--its water so opaque and milky that the bottom was not visible, raising immediate concerns about filtration and safety. Outdoor areas, while visually promising at a distance, proved equally neglected upon closer inspection. Seating areas were covered in spiderwebs and debris, and the surrounding grounds contained cigarette waste embedded in the landscaping. The entire exterior environment carried a stale, ashtray-like odor, making it unsuitable even for brief use. Attempts to utilize the space for a simple yoga practice were abandoned due to these conditions. Compounding these issues was a mismatch between advertised amenities and actual service. Despite references to hospitality benefits, basic items such as bottled water were not included and required additional payment. Even the so-called "complimentary" breakfast, which had effectively been prepaid under a nonrefundable rate, felt questionable to consume given the overall state of cleanliness. Taken together, these observations point to a pattern of neglect that goes beyond isolated oversight. The condition of this property raises legitimate concerns about health, safety, and basic operational standards. Travelers should exercise extreme caution when considering this location.
