Kirill, from 22 portraits, is a headshot genius! As a speaker, I always need professional headshots to send to the event organizers. I just recntly changed my look a bit, so i needed an updated, more modern headshot. But I have done photoshoots in the past and was dreading, taking the time to go through the process. Also, my photographer friend who did them for me in the past moved out of the country, so the thought of taking the time to shoot with someone i don't know sent me directly to procrastination town. I met Kirill in one of my meditations and clicked right away. The way he talked about life and how he ties it into his passion for capturing the perfect headshots really blew my mind. I appreciate passionate people and like participating in their process, so i booked a session to go to his photo studio (which is so awesome, it deserves its own testimonial). What i liked about Kirill is that he is passionate about being a headshot photographer. This is what he does. He doesn't do weddings, locations, etc... he does headshots. And he does them VERY VERY WELL. He makes you feel very comfortable and give you all the tips to get the right shot and makes you feel very comfortable in the studio and even explains to you how to best use all his "toys" (lights, reflectors, mirrors, backgrounds, etc). AND he is very open to trying a few new ideas, looks, wardrobe changes etc. Most importantly, he is not rushing you at all... By the time the session is over you have a bunch of amazing shots... the only hard part was to choose which one would be the 2 he would edit thoroughly (i got the package with 2 edited photos). I may actually ask him to edit a few of the others, since we got so many "keepers" I you are on LinkedIn or any social media platform aiming to project a professional image, you need a headshot. If you had bad experiences in the past or have never done it and feel nervous about it, use 22Portraits. You will love it. And people will love your headshot! read more

What an incredibly pleasant, fun, and thoughtful experience it was to work with Kirill and his team. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Kirill was extremely easy to work with and patient to work through several outfit changes and I could feel the passion in his work. Also, the studio itself is decked out with incredible tech that allows you to see live the pictures that are being taken in real-time and collaborate with Kirill on what direction to keep working towards. I had never seen this with a photographer before, since usually the pictures are taken and you are mostly in the dark with how they are coming out. This process that Kirill has implemented allows for one's confidence and ability to be amplified because you are getting feedback from what the shots are looking like. Kirill himself is extremely knowledgable and such a grounded person that can make anybody feel comfortable with him. There's music going on in the background too and you can play whatever you wish. His goal is to make you feel like the star in front of the camera and he does a damn good job at that. I found 22Portraits after doing extensive research online for a photographer. As a creative myself, I was searching for professional headshots that were modern and youthful yet sophisticated and professional. When I went in for the session I was super nervous, but Kirill has a way of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. He sets up a mirror where you can see yourself during the shoot and also let's you see the photos on a big monitor to make adjustments to your posture, hair, etc as needed. I received the selected images during the shoot and took a few days to decide which photo to retouch. Kirill was very generous to offer different background colors for the final retouched photo so that I had options to use on social media. Overall Kirill went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy. I'm beyond happy with the quality and lighting of the final image but also blown away by how easy and enjoyable the process was. I have NEVER been a fan of getting pictures taken. I would get overly self-conscious, picky, and I never really liked the end results. Finally, after seeing Kirill's work online and loving the look and naturality of his pictures, my fiance encouraged me to book a session while in Miami before heading back to New York. So there we went. Ok so first, he took around 100 PICS!! and most importantly he made me feel SO COMFORTABLE and made me enjoy the experience for the first time in my life. He guided me through numerous poses (I'm not a pro haha) and he played my favorite music which helped me relax a lot :) Then we sat down together and ranked the photographs having in mind which photo to use for what medium (LinkedIn, internal corporate, etc.) This was also super helpful because sometimes is nice to have another person helping you decide what looks more professional. Kirill, did an amazing job. Super friendly, easy going, I always feel like I don't look good in pictures yet, with his unique technique he was able to coax out of me some great smiles & expressions, which resulted in a few truly perfect pictures I needed this to update my amateur photo on my LinkedIn and also I was heading to a conference which had a networking app it was convenient to have a professional picture in-app. This resulted in more meetings being booked and connections made because people could put a face to the name. I had a great time with Kirill! From the moment I walked in he made me feel welcomed and comfortable within the studio. He had a nice set up with multiple backdrops to choose from. Once we started he asked me what my "goals" were so he can get a better understanding as to how to approach the photoshoot. within the process I got to see the photos and choose which ones I liked, which was very hard to choose since every single one was amazing. within the process I was able to change into different outfits and he also gave me input on how I should pose and what backdrops complimented my outfits. It was great working with Kirill to get new professional headshots. We spent a few minutes at the beginning of the session talking so Kirill could get an understanding of how I planned to use the headshots and the context that they would be presented in. We shot in three different outfits and Kirill suggested a few ways to change up the background and things like that to get a variety of options. I had a great experience with Kirill at 22Portraits when I went to get some headshots taken. He was very personable, made me feel comfortable with the posing, communicated the process really well and I received the color corrected headshots immediately after the session! The photos show me as my "best" self. He also was very careful regarding safety and cleanliness since this is the age of coronavirus so that made me comfortable as well. Parking downtown was not a problem as are there are many garages and lots and even street parking all around the area. In the process of becoming a Realtor, they touched base on how important it is to have a professional head-shot.
