A year later, still 1 star, still same so called MANAGER (must be nepotism), still hasn't repair TV; still hasn't provided sink stoppers and claims the sinks never came with stoppers and had a student, working will her, back up her claim to which I provided,"all your sinks came with stoppers..." My son was in the Chem Eng program to which she promised he would be roomed with other existing Chem Eng students and promised he would not be on the first floor. But OF COURSE, with other apartments available, housed him on first floor, with NON Chem Eng students, and didn't respond to my son's trouble tickets to fix/replace the TV, clean the nasty couch or ensure the common area was usable with pet hair. The SO CALLED MANAGER didn't enforce pet compliance on the the existing pet owner; advised that the common area is not part of the cleaning requirements and tried to tell me the TV was on order. It doesn't take 10 months to replace a TV AND, if she did her job, the $ for the TV replacement would have been readily available because it would have come from the renters who lived there when the TV coaxial cable was ripped from the back of it. I had to tell the SO CALLED MANAGER to just keep her lying mouth closed because she kept spewing lie after lie. Or she just hasn't learned a single thing about managing an apartment building in the 9 years of working there. The apartment complex common areas were not much better then my son's apartment common area. The pool was rarely available for use and the sandy area was full of cat poop (probably from my son's roommate's cats)! My son moved to University Pointe, a sister apartment complex, managed by a COMPETENT HUMAN BEING and didn't have any issues, including getting repairs handled within 3 days, notifications for upcoming repairs including laundry lint, HVAC filters and emergency testing and drills. read more

Management is terrible, the hallways are a biohazard and dirty all the time, maintenance request take you basically begging them to fix it multiple times, and don't even get me started with their parking garage system. There is dog shit always in the hallways bugs everywhere. I had my dryer broken for weeks and sent multiple requests to get it fixed and it would not be fixed and I had to take all my laundry to a laundry mat to do for weeks before it FINALLY got fixed. But it was not just the dryer it's with anything!! Also their parking system is the worst thing to ever exist. You pay every month to park in the garage yet you have to call EVERY SINGLE DAY because the gate never works and then when you call they try to make you pay even MORE money. It's absolutely ridiculous and outrageous but yet when you bring it up to the office they say to just call the parking garage. Do not fall for it when taking tours they only care about making money when you actually live there they do NOT CARE about you. read more

HORRIBLE. Do not sign a lease here if you value peace and tranquility. Walls are quite literally paper thin and there is parties or bar nights every single day. The "Reserved" parking is a straight up scam as I would have some random person park in my spot every single day, leading to me having to park in a random spot on the 6th floor. The hallways are always insanely dirty and there was dog poop in my hallway 90% of the time. The gym was decent but always had at least 2 machines broken or "being worked on". There is a security guard on duty on the 1st and 2nd floors but he never does anything because he's always in the bathroom by the gym. No matter where your apartment is located you will be tortured by the people racing on the loop and the loud cars/bikes in the garage that rev their engines ALL NIGHT. If for some reason you choose to live here, expect to never get sleep and live in the filthiest place you'll ever live in! The only "Pro" of living here is being right by campus but even then, game days are an absolute chaos here as everyone parks in the garage and leaves the place a mess. read more

This place is horrible. There's maintenance men in my apartment every week, for random things. First bug sprays, then fire alarms, etc. Not to mention the men they do have working are major creeps & follow girls to their apts, take their sweeettt time on calls to talk to the girls. Do not even get me started on the reserved parking spot, I pay near 800$ a year, and every single day have to call to get it towed. They should be monitoring their own spots, & towing when needed. Not when I get home & have to wait an hour for them to be towed, or park on the 6th floor. A waste of money for reserved spots. Not the mention how disgusting the halls, trash rooms, dog park & most of all the pool. The pool is swarmed with pigeons, shit covering the sidewalks & balconies. Update to the managements reply: I have talked to, called, and emailed management too many times to count. They are very unhelpful as well as uncooperative, they don't respond to emails and when I went to schedule an appointment to talk to the GM in person about the problems with this apartment she refused to talk to me, even walked away from me in the lobby and instead sent an email later that week that did not fix any of my problems. Everyone at the front desk now, (the front desk staff recently changed) has an attitude whether you're there to ask a question, complain, or simply pick up a package. Everyone I know who lived here this past year is leaving because this apartment is SO poorly managed and maintained. New floors aren't going to fix the problems within this apartment complex, if anything they're just a cover up to distract from the many other problems here. But, they couldn't even go about installing the floors correctly (as discussed in other reviews)!! I wish I could give this place 0 starts honestly. There are also MANY families here that come to the pool and are very loud and obnoxious. This is supposed to be student living. I know a couple of younger couples that have babies here which isn't a big deal but it's the families of 5-6+ who come out to the pool all day, are loud(I can hear them from inside of my apartment with doors/windows closed), hog the grills and chairs around the pool that are meant for people who PAY RENT here. If it's just going to be open to the public then give us a discount on our rent or control the issue. Again this is student living, or at least it is advertised as such and I don't think anyone wants to deal with or listen to other peoples children while trying to relax in their own living space. PROS: Complex building is adequate. Amenities are nice. Gym is sufficient. Floor plans are big with good ratios from bedroom size to closet/bathroom size. Shower is large. Walk-in closets. Maintenance has responded quickly to work requests. Covered parking garage available. CONS: I believe the cons outweigh the pros. Every con I will list is BROUGHT UPON BY THE TENANTS THAT LIVE HERE. The dog owners are outrageous. There is an allocated dog park where they are supposed to take their dogs to in order to shit and whatnot. NO. They have their dogs shit in the hallways, IN THE STAIRWELLS, and all over the rock landscaping so that its hard for maintenance to deal with. So, instead of taking to their dogs to the dog park (and when they do, they don't even pick up after the dogs so the entire northern half of the complex smells like hot dog shit whenever it gets above 70 degrees in Lubbock) they let their dogs shit anywhere in the complex and the whole place smells. This is my biggest problem with the place. I would like to enjoy my balcony once in a while if it were not for the rampant smell of dog shit. Second largest issue is that the people in and around the complex are loud. People come home late at night and are extremely loud in the hallways, although, I feel this is a given with college students at 2am on a Saturday night. Most of the noise comes from the highway right beside the complex and the parking garage. Their will be groups of motorcycles that come into the parking garage revving the engines up every 20 levels of the garage at 1 in the morning. I can hear it on the far end of the complex. Other than these two issues, I think the complex is great for its value. Just avoid living by the dog park at all costs and avoid shitty roommates. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The distance from everything seems great. This apartment complex looks decent for the price on the tour, but if you take a walk anywhere further than that, you will see how poor the upkeep is. Maintenance in the apartment unit itself was good, but cleanliness otherwise was disturbing. We repeatedly complained about dog feces and urine in the hallways along with vomit, but nothing was done about it. It is a health hazard. On top of the cleanliness, the staff of ACC is terrible. We were charged fees that were obviously not handled prior to us moving in. My room and the living space was filthy. It triggered cat allergies and asthma attacks for my roommate and my boyfriend. They fixed the couches in the living room from the smell and cat hair, but they did not clean my room. My room had hair trimmings from whatever guy lived in the unit prior all over the bathroom. The entire medicine cabinet was full of them. There was also supposedly a missing drawer in my fridge, but they never specified on our move in form how many drawers were supposed to be there to begin with, so we assumed it was what we saw. Moving in, the hallways were actually kind of clean compared to now. I got to my apartment and there was dried, un-removable paint on the wood floors. The whole place was filthy and everything was turned on. My super spacious apartment came with a pool table and it's stained in what I think was cat peepee and hair. The couches looked nice, but they were covered in cat hair too. I went to my assigned room and noticed that it smelled bad. All of my furniture had dents, scratches, dirt, and stains. Just know that I've written everything down in the paperwork I was to fill out regarding the condition of my apartment.. I wasn't able to look at the restroom and suddenly the cleaners, who I thought was one of my roommates, came in and told me they weren't able to get to cleaning because of preparation issues with maintenance or other workers, I don't remember. So I set my bags aside and left the cleaners to clean, starting with my room. The restroom was the best part after my area was "cleaned," even with dust still in the cabinets. I cleaned the rest of my room myself and unpacked. When the cleaners left I checked the rest of my apartment in detail for every single thing I could write down. Cracks on the corners of multiple walls, Holes and water damage on the ceiling in the halls and kitchen, TV missing it's remote AND appears damaged(still not replaced), nasty pool table missing ball number 15(still not replaced), dents on the microwave and fridge, HVAC having an incorrect filter that just falls off, a hole in my carpet, the window shields(definitely)not on correctly or are just broken, the ice in the fridge has always smelled bad and tastes bitter, broken pieces of the kitchen cabinets, hideous dark thing that looks melted inside the dryer, and there's a lot more that I can't remember off the top of my head, but I think I've torn through enough of my unit. The general gist of moving in is that you aren't going to be pleased with what you're given, so you'll need to put in some labor and $. Setting up the electric utilities was hard because I had no guidance and the city of Lubbock wasn't helpful itself either. I even went to the utilities building and still didn't have it set up after leaving. The trash room being next to my room was so convenient. It is sealed well so my apartment doesn't smell, the rest is self explanatory. What does smell is the excessive dog caca in the hallways and stairs. Unfortunately people here suck and don't pick up after their pets. The plants lining the perimeter of this place also give off the smell of rotten weed, it's gross. New staff and GM are responsive and friendly. There are a lot of improvements coming with new management. Not sure if business model is ideal when moving in with an unknown roommate. Common areas of the actual apartment need to be inspected for some kind of cleanliness. The unit my daughter moved into was very dirty excluding her bedroom and bathroom which were clean. It looked Like the current tenant didn't clean in years and left a huge mess in the kitchen and living room. I will say the Managment came to the rescue and deep cleaned without hesitation. Can't say enough good things about them. Also all carpet will be removed from the bedrooms next few months for vinyl wood floors similar to the common areas. read more

There's a rodent in my wall they haven't attended to in months. I call the emergency hotline because I'm pretty sure a rat is eating at the wires in my wall and that can start a fire. They say they'll get someone out here first thing in the morning and it's never happened. The staff is nice, but nothing gets done with 24 hr service. Literally so sad because I love the maintenance people and it's really attentive otherwise, but I've seen mice and spiders in the nasty hallways, this place needs to be gutted. The carpets are nasty and it just makes me cringe to walk on them barefoot. The location is nice, especially for gamedays, but I wouldn't sign because of that. Don't let the tour of the model fool you.. this place is not as pretty as they paint it to be. ****UPDATE**** 3 and a half months later after threatening to call the BBB, they tended to the rodent problem. My girlfriend lived at 25Twenty and on September 2, 2019 we smelt a strong odor and heard noises coming from the storage room directly across from her room. We then opened the door to see what was in the storage room and found a transient living/sleeping in the storage room. Keep in mind this on the THRID FLOOR. We alerted the police and they came out to check but by that time he was gone. We attempted to call the "24/7 on-call staff" number periodically throughout the day and it went straight to voicemail each time. We had to call another apartment complex (owned by the same company) to get a hold of the leasing manager. Almost all doors on this property are unlocked, broken, or held open by rocks. A work order was submitted for the storage door to be locked with a deadbolt and she received a work order completed email on 9/5/19 and the door was not touched. When we checked again we found clothes and belongings in the storage unit, including a trash bag with girl belongings. All in all I do not recommend living at 25Twenty. Safety for the residents is not a high priority. She was told the storage rooms can not be locked because of the cost. read more

Been living here since august 2020, and i have hated it ever since. The apartments are not clean, there is no parking, and to top everything off they decided to redo the floors while still living here. The flooring company they hired stole multiple items from me and my roommates and nothing was done about it. We had to pack everything up and shove it on closet racks. When we got back for the day all the boxes were rearranged like they had been looked through. They stole jewelry from me and smaller items from my roommates. After this, I told the GM and confronted the flooring crew, but apparently they are all buddy buddy because the GM sided with them from the start and barely gave me any chance to speak. Very unhappy with the situation. Not a safe living environment if things like this are happening. DO NOT LIVE HERE. read more

The property manager has changed at least 4 times since I moved here 10 months ago. They are never available to talk to in person or even on the phone, you have to email them multiple times just to get an email back that says "I'm sorry to hear that, we are working on it". The pool is always full of families with little kids multiple times a week (no idea where they come from since 25twenty is supposedly student living). The apartment complex flooded in February, including my unit, and we were just told to leave for the day while they "fixed" it and when I called to get an update they told me "all the water is gone" so I came back and the water was not gone. They then left big, loud fans blowing 24/7 for a week in our kitchen and living room, making those places unusable. They left our baseboards off for a month, just leaning up against the wall with nails sticking out. AND the fans used so much of our electricity that our utility bill was almost four times as much as normal and it took us 3 months to get them to pay for it. Now, on our fourth or fifth manager this year, they have decided to redo ALL the floors in ALL the units and we were told one day before the construction started and we basically have to move out for two days (literally everything we own has to be out) when there is literally a two week period between when we move out and the next lease people move in so they easily could've done this then instead of basically kicking us out of the apartment we pay for and not giving us any options of what to do with all of our stuff and where to stay for those two days. So do NOT sign a lease here. Oh also the wifi is TERRIBLE and the apartment wasn't even cleaned before we moved in. read more

For anyone considering moving to 25 twenty, as a resident I highly recommend that you do not choose this apartment complex. For me, this is solely based on the unbelievable level of noise that comes from the service road/highway loop right next to the apartment. If you sat in the room that I am staying in currently and closed your eyes, you could hardly tell whether you were inside a building, or right outside. Whether quiet, or loud... you can hear every vehicle as it accelerates past the intersection on the service road, as if you are quite literally living next to a drag strip. ** READ IMMEDIATELY ** This is the absolute worst, unsafe, poorly managed business in Lubbock, TX. Government housing is a better and safer solution that this complex. This complex is on their 3rd "general manager" in the past 6-8months. The problems I personally have had at this complex is too many to count. I personally enforce kicking HOMELESS men out of this complex more than the office does. Your car, nor you are safe at anytime in the parking garage. I've witnessed drug deals in this complex, had my truck and car broken into and had a pistol get stolen, glue put on my windows of my Cadillac, and all the property does is say reach out to the parking garage manager. Once you finally get ahold of him months later, the video cameras catch nothing since they are only motion activated by cars. So anyone walking or breaking into a car is not caught, and since it's a price garage, unless the police catch someone in the action of breaking into a car, they cannot do anything. The management and staff are judge mental, and if one of them does not like you personally, they will make your life a living hell. And If you ever have a problem that is addressed with management, be prepared to be spoken down to like a 4 year old getting disciplined by their parents. Customer service is absolutely pathetic and non of the general managers are trained in customer satisfaction. They put on events like they care for the residents, but today when I walked downstairs to speak with the general manager that's about to cost me $800 for their lack of planning and coordination, she said she didn't have time and I needed to schedule an appointment. I have spoken with corporate every single time I've had an issue with the complex because the management has no idea how to stand on their own two legs independently. I am in the process of filing uninhabitable living conditions to break my lease from the dog feces both in the hallways, and the volleyball court. Homeless men able to walk into the complex at all hours of the day, and gang activity constantly in the garage. I was also charged $1000 in move our fees and damages from my apartment and when I asked for pictures of proof, they had ZERO. And the best corporate did was give me 50% off. If you are a single girl or any type of non confrontational guy, stay as far from this complex as possible. You are NOT SAFE. If I could give this complex ZERO stars I absolutely would in a heart beat. If you are even close to considering living here, for your safety, well being, and wallet, steer FAR AWAY from this complex. I cannot stress this enough. I do not recommend living here. My roommates and I have had a lot of issues with the management here as well as some of the staff. First, my apartment bathroom flooded and my sister had to threaten the office so they would do something about it. They told me to use my roommates bathrooms without there consent and were not going to move me somewhere else even though the smell of mildew was making me sick. Second, the management has changed numerous times since fall of 2020 and with the new management they stated you can not have any aggressive breeds or dogs over 35 pounds, I personally have both of those and on my original lease it was stated I could have my dog. Third, I have had a bug issue for a month now and have put in multiple work orders in about it but they have not done anything about it and when I confront the office they are confused and say something was done when it wasn't. Fourth, there have been multiple break ins with the garage and multiple tampering with cars outside of the garage that the office does nothing about. On top of that there is barely any parking and when there is they take up half of it with work trucks and will tow your car without letting you know about it. Fifth, our power went out multiple times and we were never informed about it and the electric company would make us wait days to turn it back on. Worst apartment living experience in Lubbock. I can't begin to explain all of the problems this place has. Management lies directly to your face, you have to call and personally walk up to the front desk 5 times before they will even speak to you. Anytime you need them, managers are "out of the office" They suckered us into a lease promising us $50 each for referring friends, and we recruited about 4 people to live here. Well after asking weekly for 3 months for our promised gift cards, we gave up. Management said over and over "we expect them to be here next week" blah blah blah. We had our washer break and flood an entire half of the apartment overnight. Our fridge broke SEVEN TIMES before they would replace it, costing us hundreds in food. Smoke detector batteries went out several times in just 1 year. You will have things break monthly in your apartment, and it will take at least 3 weeks before they even look at the problem. My roommates and I have tried calling The manager several times, she is always "out" or in a meeting, you can never speak with her. We have a family of rats currently living in our apartment, and we were told "maybe" someone will be up there tomorrow. This is absolutely disgusting and we are exposed to so many diseases. We cant even stay in our own apartment because they have spread to our rooms and kitchen. Personal belongings in a closet are damaged due to pee and poop from them. they are trying to blame it on us by saying it's the dog or it was the "rice on the floor" when the rice is wood shavings from them chewing (the dogs food is kept in the fridge) and if it was the dog then everyone Who has a dog right now, should have rats by their logic. Our apartment is ALWAYS clean. Also, there is a hole in our kitchen (we live right by a trash room, that always has flies because they never grab the trash) that is covered in rat feces. we have pictures and videos of everything. As a parent, I was shocked that none of the doors were propped open to facilitate easier move in and a lot of the corner areas smelled like urine. Every single family had to stop, put down their load, open the doors to the floors, then reload their items and go through the door. Didn't you know it was move in day???? Couldn't you have propped the doors open? And ONE elevator for the whole complex??? Every corner by the elevators and trash smelled like urine. Maybe a good cleaning would have been in order since parents, who were paying for their kids to live there, were coming to move their kids in for the first time. The property is filthy, dog shit and pee, vomit every where on the hallway. During my stay, I found all kind of filthy things in the stairwells, used condoms, needles, etc... also, if you decide to live there u will straggle with the parking. The management and staff are rude. One time the door got locked and I couldnt open it. I had to stay for 4 hours outside of my apartment waiting for someone from the staff to show up and help. No one showed although ive been calling the emergency line and the person answers and replies "ive been calling the staff on the property and no one answers" like we do not live in 2019 and everyone is stuck on their phones?!?! Also, I email the property and the general manager but no one answers either. The manager Shana Oxford asks me on phone to email her and then she doesn't reply to my email. While I like that it is close to Tech's campus and that it is a relatively new place, there are a few major drawbacks. First, the walls here are very thin. If you have a bedroom that shares a wall with your living room, you can very plainly hear what is happening in the living room, which can keep one from falling asleep. Secondly, there are parties every other night here. Because the walls are so thin, noise travels very fast, and it can be a real nuisance at times when you want to just rest. When I signed a lease for my place here, there was a miscommunication on when my move in date would be, and it could have been handled much better. All that being said, the staff are friendly. It's convenient since it is close to Tech, but it would be good to look at all options first. P.S. I notice a lot of people complain about maintenance issues here. When we first moved in, our patio door wouldn't close unless it was dead bolted. Managements response to my work order was that a lot of the doors are like that and it's no big deal, even though it was letting out our cold air out and represented a break in hazard. When maintenance painted the walls with white paint, they didn't cover the floors. So our hardwood looks dirty even after vacuuming and mopping. The hot water heater is half the size of a normal one even though four people live in my apartment. The carpet is cheap and doesn't look nice. There's a mouse infestation on the outside of the apartment and in the hallways. Rat traps are visible outside most of the entrances to the apartment complex. My roommate had a weird smell coming from her wall and when maintenance cut it open there were a dozen dead mice inside. We received a 50 dollar fine at one point for leaving a trash bag outside of a completely full trash shoot. People don't pick up after their animals so there's dog poop EVERYWHERE. The pool is nice. If you choose to live here, make friends with the maintenance men. Going directly to them instead of the front desk is the ONLY way to get things fixed in a timely manner. read more

Management SUCKS* they sure put on a nice happy face when you go to look at the apartments but once your locked in, their true colors start to show. Way over priced and none of their "amenities" ever work. They also like to bust into your apartment whenever they want without a notice. ||0 Stars if possible|| I have lived at 25Twenty since August 2016, and during this time 25Twenty has demonstrated a history of negligence toward the safety of its residents. In April of 2017 I was broken in to, and I requested a change of locks and a plate to be added to my door in writing. This did not happen in a timely manner, and I was broken in to again the next week. On March 11, 2018 we became aware of an issue concerning our oven/stove unit. Insulation was falling out of the latch and into our oven. We immediately notified the front desk and submitted a work order to address this issue. This insulation issue continued into the following month, and yet again we contacted the front desk and submitted another work order. This issue continued into May, and on May 16 I called after hours to request maintenance return to evaluate the issue. On May 29, we contacted the front office, and maintenance came to our apartment. We were notified by maintenance workers in our apartment that on PAST OCCASIONS they found evidence of a mice infestation in our stove. We were notified nearly 3 months AFTER we originally made 25Twenty aware of our issue that we had a mice infestation in an area where we prepare food. Since this revelation, management still seemed to not care, and their remedy to forcing my roommates and I to live in an inhabitable space was to let me out of my lease. I wish I had NEVER signed a lease at this apartment complex. UPDATE: I was told a fee would not be charged for subletting my apartment. 1 year later, we are receiving notice we will be sent to collections for this fee. In March 2017 I spoke to Colby, the general manager at the time. I was needing to sublet my apartment for only 4 months, and I was told at this time that we would only need to pay one "sublet fee" for this transaction and I would be charged when I moved back in during January 2018. My apartment was sublet, and I tried to get in contact with Colby beginning in October 2017 to get the ball rolling on getting my apartment back in my possession beginning January 2018. It was an extremely complicated process, and I was told over a phone call with Colby in December 2017 that the single sublet fee would not be charged to myself nor the individual who sublet my apartment. On November 12, 2018, the individual who sublet my apartment received communication from 25Twenty giving warning that she would be sent to collections on November 23, 2018 for failure to pay the "sublet fee". On the same day, we immediately contacted the current general manager, Shana Oxford. She replied the next day without addressing the issue we brought forth. SInce Ms. Oxford's reply on November 12, 2018, we have attempted to contact her and the 25Twenty property 4 times. We gave 25Twenty and American Campus an opportunity to correct their mistake; however, we were taken advantage of. At no point after Ms. Oxford November 12 communication was our urgent issue acknowledged by 25Twenty or American Campus Communities. read more

Seriously don't live here. Avoid this place. If you have seen prometheus this is the planet you want to avoid. They will fight you tooth and nail to do as little as possible to make you happy at this place. They put on a nice show to hook you and that's where their customer service ends. The gym sucks, they maybe have 1/3 of the weight you need to do leg press. I think they maybe have 5 total 45 plates. So if some one is doing leg press and you want to do bench or leg press you will have to wait. About the only really cool thing they used to do here was casino night but I think they even stopped doing that. There is a fee for everything. Don't waste your money here. 25Twenty deserves a ZERO star rating. I have never been treated so poorly in all my life. The maintenance and office staff don't care about your safety or know how to properly fix your appliances within the complex. We put in a written request for our microwave to be fixed and was not complete until 3 months later; same goes with our refrigerator. Our apartment was broken into and the management never bothered to look into the situation. We asked for surveillance footage, but apparently there are no cameras in the hallways to actually see what goes on in the apartment. We submitted a written request to get our door fixed and locks changed, but no action was taken. Save your time and money and NEVER sign here!!!! read more

Honestly, every student-living apartment complex is going to somewhat suck. The apartment is not going to be very clean when its given to you, the hallways are going to be nasty (beer cans in the hallways, animal droppings, maybe even throw up from people partying too hard the night before), trash rooms are going to stink, the walls are going to be thin. If you've never lived off campus just know that you will almost never escape this. I lived at 2520(in a 4bed/4bath B) a year ago and after living at another complex I've realized that 2520 is not all that bad. WHAT STANDS OUT TO ME: If you are looking to roommate match and you get horrible roommates, the apartment is big enough that everyone can happily have enough space in their rooms and comfortably keep to themselves. To compare to other apartment complexes: gym: sucks - nothing works- only count on free weights hallways: cleaner parking garage: very sketchy - BUT you don't have to worry about towing. storage: amazing- closets upon closets- my old closet is bigger than my bathroom now bathrooms: huge and modern trash rooms: stink -steer clear in the summer noise: surprisingly quieter after you realize how bad other places are. Also you can hear the walls making noise when someone turns on the water. you'll get used to it. kitchen - loved it commute: the bus to school takes you to west hall/ holden in 5-7 min. the way back takes like 20-30 min** patios: A1, IF you're facing the pool maintenance: somewhat quick unless near move out. staff: good - EXCEPT be warned, they walk in unannounced at times. I regret telling them they couldn't come in. Sometimes they'll come in with maintenance men while you're in pajamas or not appropriately dressed. If you stay the summer while they are trying to prepare for move-ins BE READY for them to be very rude. However, the rest of the time they are nice:) This didn't happen to me but people have had problems with animal infestation or mold, flooding, those kinds of things and the staff hasn't been as attentive as they could have been. #1 recommendation, literally tell them you're calling BBB. Badass apartment complex, staff is very amazing and always helpful. Iv lived here a few years now and haven't had a bad experience. The pool is always lit on the weekends. The rooftop bar is right next door which is very convenient and the bars on Broadway are just a ten minute walk down the road. The gym on the property is everything you need to get a quick but solid workout in. And with a badass game room with pool tables and a kickass sound system, throwing pre games just got easier a hell of a lot easier. read more

Save your money and find somewhere else to live. I've been looking forward to moving out of this complex since I moved in here. DO NOT LIVE HERE!! I could write a novel on the number of issues this complex has. Fire alarms randomly go off in the middle of the day or middle of the night. The front office always claims it's just procedure but never gives any warning to the residents. I'm a student and would often get interrupted with these fire alarm procedures in the middle of the day that would last 20 minutes sometimes even an hour. The pool looks great and all but it's always dirty & isn't even open on most days. The elevators break 24/7, hobos will seek refugee and stay in the halls or storage rooms, multiple break ins occur what seems like every month, & the maintenance crew is god awful. When I first moved in to 25twenty my unit was disgusting. Pet hair was all over the furniture, found rat feces in my closet, light fixture was broken hanging off the wall, my shower faucet didn't even work, & the furniture was ripped up and completely stained. I had a much better living experience in the dorms than I did at 25twenty. Just save your time & money. read more

This is by far the worst apartment complex I've lived in. It's incredibly noisy - noise is to be expected in apartments but here it's insane: walls are paper thin, you can hear everything your neighbors do above you and besides you. Customer service is something that is virtually non-existent. CA's treat you like crap and don't care about valid issues, the managers - Sydney and Jamie - are rude (if you actually manage to speak to them, Jamie hides out refusing to deal with issues). I am convinced Maintenance is just paid to go and sit in apartments and say they fixed things. I loathe having to go back to my apartment. Yes, the space is nice. Yes, the amenities are nice - granted the Gas Fire Pit hasn't worked in the time I've been there, the pool is always cold, one of the grills outside you have to manually light with a match/lighter - but it's not worth it. beware!!!!!!! do not choose to live here. they advertise a secure gated facility. doors/gates have never worked. trash disposal is located in the hallway storage closets and not emptied for days which explains the rat infestation. transients often occupy the unlocked storage closets in the hallways. onsite management is useless and does not respond. maintenance appears to be overwhelmed. beware!!!!! read more
