Yes, the email stated that housing was not guaranteed until the agreement was counter-signed and completed, but the way this process was communicated and handled was frustrating and disappointing. After spending nearly a month preparing and relying on the information provided, losing housing at the last minute felt unfair and poorly managed. I was also experiencing issues receiving guarantor emails, which made the process even more difficult. My biggest issue is not the policy itself, but the lack of urgency, communication, and customer consideration throughout the process. Future applicants should be aware that nothing is secure until every document is completed and counter-signed, regardless of what may be communicated during the process.

Every single time I'd come into the apartment, her little dog would bite at my ankles. I reported this to the management and they did NOTHING! I was told that they couldn't do anything because equal housing rights. I was told by the lawyer on campus that the property manager is by far the worst to deal with and he always receives complaints from parents. Thankfully, Tech has a lawyer on campus that advocated for me to allow me to move to The Village at Overton Park. It was like a 360 flip when I went over there, it was a much better choice!

This was VERY disheartening...Don't keep us in the heat and talk to us about how NICE the honors college is with a chic fila and Starbucks or about the largest classroom but we can't see it...not when we JUST left Texas A&M and they toured us INSIDE 11 of their academic buildings on a SATURDAY in the cool air-conditioned seats and talked to us about their college of medicine, etc...and we had to drive farther to get here! We brought our dog along who was slightly anxious, and Tina did a magnificent job of being patient and accommodating her in the photos. I loved Tina's enthusiasm and professionalism- she knew exactly what poses to do and she was a great coach with teaching us how to pose. She took the extra time to make sure we got all the poses we envisioned as well! Even after she had packed up her equipment, we noticed the full moon looked amazing and she took the time to take some extra shots of us with the moon- she goes above and beyond. I would hands down recommend Tina for your photographs, we will be asking her to do our newborn photos!
