What started as a stressful evening turned into one of the best campground experiences we've had…read more After arriving at another campground on Sunday and discovering it wasn't what we had been led to expect, we left and started searching for another place to stay. It was already late in the evening when we found Pine Ridge Campground on Google Maps and decided to take a chance. When we arrived, the office was already closed. A maintenance employee noticed us pulling in, stopped what he was doing, and took the time to hear our situation. He immediately contacted the property manager, and despite being off duty, she came to the campground, opened the office, found us a site, got us checked in, and made sure we were taken care of. The maintenance employee even had a golf cart ready for us to rent so we could get settled in quickly. That level of customer service is rare these days and made a lasting impression on us. We've now been here for three days, and everything about this campground has been outstanding. The grounds are exceptionally clean and well maintained, the facilities are spotless, and it's obvious the staff takes great pride in the property. Everyone we've encountered has been friendly, professional, and willing to help. The pool is excellent, the campground is peaceful and well kept, and the golf cart rentals are very reasonably priced. Most importantly, the entire staff genuinely seems to care about their guests and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great experience. Whether you're looking for a long-term stay or just passing through for a few nights, I highly recommend Pine Ridge Campground. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we're in the area.

We had a wonderful spot with a cement area which had a picnic table and a fire pit. The longer I stayed the more I appreciated the beautiful trees and foliage. Some were so old and wide and all were very tall. At the end of the campground are six covered wagons that you can sleep in. They have their own pretty area and bathhouse. At the top of the little hill is the pool, laundry room and an open social area. They have ping pong, games and places to sit. We already plan to come back for Thanksgiving! First and biggest is the water park area where they have well-maintained, huge inflatables to climb, slide, and jump off. You get an hour free each day you stay there and it's not just for kids!! You can also rent kayaks or jet ski's. Have a boat? They have a dock to park it. Hungry? They have a Mexican restaurant on site that is a whole other amazing review. Food and margaritas are great! The mango habanero chicken strips were delicious and bigger than my hand!! They have an amphitheater where they hold events throughout the summer. We're going back for the 4th of July for the live bands and fireworks. Dogs are welcome everywhere but the beach. But that's okay, they have a dog park just for the pups. You can see where they will be expanding for more RV spots in the future. Entire campground is clean and well maintained. Lots of bathrooms around the property. All camping spots have lake views. Absolutely gorgeous property. This is going to be our new regular place we head on weekends.
