He also dates his staff, his former Manager Bonnie what great she cared and was always available for us 24/7 and lived onsite and when he was done with her, he fired and evicted her, she was a single mom with no place to go so she lost her housing and her job. The new manger was never available, she, and relied on the some of the resident to do her job after hours and at the same time they were allowed to break the rules and when you complained about them, she ignored it. prices went up and the residents suffered. There are no amenities for the price you pay, he doesn't give any discounts especially to Veterans, they make you pay to have a DNA test of your dog's poop if your long term. They say they are a 45 and up adults only, and they are not. The owner has party's and the people going to the party race through the parking campground along with the golf carts that do not follow the speed limit. And heaven forbid if you are a good resident who pay their site fee on time and follow the rules but have a few friends over then he evicts you, he picks and chooses who you are allowed to have visit you onsite and at your camper, has even made threats to good resident he would evict if they have them onsite again. Quite time is at 9pm and the staff who live onside are not allowed to be social with the resident's if they are the owner fire and evicts them on the spot. Big rig friendly and staff is very friendly, grounds are kept quite clean. Very easy to maneuver our 43ft Class A Coach. Checked in, they gave me the "Rules & Regs" information, car tag and things of interest in the Gaffney area. We stayed for a week in Premium site #316, overlooking the pond. Simply beautiful!! They have a couple of ducks & geese around but they were not pests. Owners have a routine schedule of feeding them. Fun to watch. There is a section for "longer term stays".... but they were quiet and those we met, as we took walks, were friendly. They have a pool, mini-golf and there are walking trails around the 3 ponds. Careful... use exit #90, the exit GPS says us sometimes closed. Advise that you call the Campground to get construction updates.

Every detail was exceptional--from the thoughtful touches in the room to the breathtaking scenery. We're already looking for an excuse to return to South Carolina so we can spend more time here. This stay was part of a planned road trip through North and South Carolina, and the experience began well before we arrived. In the weeks leading up to our visit, Christian reached out multiple times to confirm our preferences and arrival details. It was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel genuinely welcomed, like our stay truly mattered. The arrival and check-in instructions were clear, warm, and inviting--more like being welcomed as guests than customers. The drive in sets the tone beautifully, winding through the rolling hills of northwest South Carolina, past lush forests and open pastures. Eventually, you arrive at an unassuming gate off the road, leading past a small pond and into the woods. A short drive up a gravel road brings you to the main inn. The building houses four guest rooms along with common spaces used during their wine bar events. There are also several private cottages on the property, which we didn't explore--but after this stay, they're definitely on our radar for next time. We stayed in the Gable Room, located up a flight of stairs with its own private ground-level entrance. A personalized note greeted us at the door, and inside, a beautifully arranged welcome letter awaited us on the bed, surrounded by rose petals--an elegant and memorable touch. The room itself was stunning. Our favorite details included the lace-draped bed, the cozy gas fireplace, the relaxing jetted tub, and the incredible balcony view. It truly felt like every possible need had been anticipated--from plush robes to well-stocked kitchenette supplies, even down to small, thoughtful items like bandages by the sink - just in case. And the bed--absolutely incredible. The memory foam mattress and feather pillows made for one of the best nights of sleep of the trip. Waking up to a sunrise over the pasture, with horses grazing against a mountain backdrop, was nothing short of magical. We spent the morning on the balcony, setting up the chairs and tray tables to enjoy coffee in the early sun. It was completely peaceful--just the sounds of birds, a few wild turkeys, and the occasional soft chuff from the horses. We were genuinely disappointed to be leaving after just one night. Throughout the rest of our trip--and even now--we keep talking about how much we wish we had stayed two or three nights instead. If there's one small area for improvement, it would be the Wi-Fi. The signal in our room was a bit weak, and the streaming-only TV had trouble connecting. That said, in a place like this, you may find you don't miss it at all. It didn't detract from our experience, and certainly not enough to impact our rating. Overall, a 10/10 experience. We even had the pleasure of meeting Christian, Allison, and Griffin on our way out--they are an absolutely charming family. Thank you for an unforgettable stay. We can't wait to return.
