Then about six month ago i receive an email asking me if i wanted to cancel my order. i said no- i figured i waited this long, whats another 2 years. so then they charged my credit card and im thinking, Great, im finally going to get my order. couple more months go by and my credit card was refunded the money they took out. but the best part is they never told me they were doing any of it. Walked into this establishment for the first time to buy scope rings, get my 30-06 bore sighted,…read moreand was planning on making many other purchases before my weekend hunting trip to Texas, but was greeted by a manager, not with a "hello, how can we help you," but rather with an "I wish you would have come sooner, we're going to close soon." Time was 5:30pm, shop closed at 6:00pm, mounting the scope and bore sighting the rifle took less than 20 minutes, even with a "new employee" doing the task. I understand the frustration of a "last minute guest" before close. I had just gotten off a 12 hour shift myself and I obviously didn't want to take up anymore of their time or mine. I even called ahead at 12:15pm same day to make sure they were fine with me coming at 5:30pm. I was assured that they would be able to bore sight the rifle and it wouldn't be an issue. Clearly the manager thought otherwise. Good inventory of fire arms and accessories, but I'll take my money elsewhere.

Very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. One of his hobbies is restoring military rifles like the 1903 Springfield, M1 Garand, M1A's, etc.. He performs basic armorer services on most firearms and does good work. On hand inventory is decent - no junk - and he can order anything you want. The last place we decided to visit was Broughton Firearms. It's out in the country on a beautiful newly paved road and easy to find with GPS if you don't know the area. When we arrived we were really impressed with the property and headed down the long drive to the store. We walked in and were stunned to see the largest collection of Class 3 firearms either of us has ever seen! James welcomed us in and let us check out the rental guns as well as those for sale. We had a great conversation and learned a little about each other as we looked through a solid variety of rifles, shotguns and handguns for sale, both new and used. He also had ammo available for very reasonable prices, binoculars, scopes and various optics. My attention was held by the various full-auto firearms available to shoot. By the way, it's only $10 to bring your guns and ammo and shoot on their range! Very reasonable and there are plenty of hanging steel plates to shoot! We didn't have time to shoot today, but we will definitely be back soon! James is very friendly and was happy to chat with us about various guns and gun issues. It was hard to leave without buying a gun! I bought some ammo and we headed home. As I said, we will definitely be back! You should give this place a visit and bring your gear, the range looks like a hoot!
