My go to range for holster work. It's indoors, less than $20, not the most cutting edge but you can draw from your holster, work on speed and draw. If you shoot a lot you understand how nearly every range has a boomer RSO breathing down your neck saying "you don't need a red dot" "no rapid fire" "you can't draw from the hip" ect. Don't be stupid and you have a lot of freedom here Pro tip: If you want cheap ammo stores with a range charge 10% or so higher than retail. So happy to have found this amazing gun store and range! My husband and I are new to the area and had not found an affordable range in the area yet. We had called Shooter's to inquire about pricing for us and our family in town to rent a lane for a couple of hours and were blown away by their affordable prices off the bat. When you arrive, there is plenty of parking along the store/surrounding stores for free. The employees were awesome and made it a great experience for us! They helped us get eye and ear protection (they even provide it at no cost and you can just return it to them when you're done) and gave us their waiver to sign that was super helpful and provided all their rules and protection regulations for the range, keeping everyone extra safe. April 1, 2021. Folks over at Shooter's are part of the problem, not the solution. They're selling ammunition at outrageous prices and taking advantage of the ammo shortage. $40 for 50 rounds of 9 mm FMJ, and it wasn't even in the box from the manufacturer they were just loose rounds in a Ziploc bag. The next day I went over to bass pro shop in Opry mills mall and bought 100 round box of the same ammo for $30. As a new shooter, I will be doing business with folks who actually seem to give a damn about fair practices and fostering the growth of new shooters. read more

I came in here to buy pepper spray. For someone who is terrified of guns, this was not exactly the place I had in mind to get my stuff. I was going to do a sporting goods store for this need, but this was convenient to my route with limited time to get my errands done. So, I popped in. Lee greeted me immediately after I walked in. He was super nice and informative about what I was looking for. I've been to a couple of gun shops in my life, but never really on my own. Being unfamiliar territory, I was a bit uncomfortable. Shooter's has been open for 3 months now, I had no idea they existed until I went to Gun City which is right next door. I went to Gun City first, just wanted to check that place out never been there. It's I have to say in the Ghetto area of Nashville being on Murfreesboro Pike, both Gun City and Shooters is right next door to each other. I suggest going to Shooters and checking out their gun displays, they have an ok collection so far. Just be careful in that area, I wouldn't hang around long. read more

He never spoke or acknowledged us, however my husband spoke anyway. He mumbled a hey but after that he never asked us if we needed help, asked us what brought us in or anything. I stopped by Gun City without realizing it was closed. I went in to Shooters and looked at a couple of guns and the prices seemed fair. They didn't have a huge inventory of guns but had enough. The gentleman who helped me was nice enough but I couldn't keep from overhearing a woman behind the counter ( his wife ? ) continue on about how she hated Tennessee. Maybe you shouldn't start a business in a state you hate? Or if you do, don't talk about it in front of customers. A little bitter for my taste. I have been a customer of Shooters, now, for about 6 months. I recommend them to all my friends. Post Sandy hook, when others had SW MP 15-22 rifles for 600-700 or more, they sold me one for $470. After discussing what I was looking for, an AR platform that allows me to shoot 22lr they pointed me to this rifle, for which I have been quite satisfied. Since I couldn't afford the rifle when I saw it, they offered to hold it for me for a week till I got paid again. Most of my firearm and ammo purchases in town now happen here. As to the other review about not allowing refunds, they have a sign clearly posted in the store stating they do not offer refunds. Margins aren't very high in the firearms industry, unless the stores are price gouging, like others did in January and feb. Shooters prices are far more competitive than most in town. A Sig 716 Patrol rifle for under $1800 when others around town are charging $2100 to $2200. read more

I don't even think this place deserves one star. I was at Bill Goodman's Gun and Knife show, and I was looking for a Tavor to buy. I saw that the Shooters booth had one, so I went over and started checking it out, and I was interested in it. I asked the lady behind the table (I am assuming she was one of the owners) if they do layaway, because I only had about 500 dollars on my person at that time, but I had easily 3 grand in my spending account in order to pay for this weapon if I wanted. She responded with "No" and I then explained my money situation. Then, completely out of the blue, she said, "Ok, but that gun is not a toy, so you should put it down now" in a completely condescending and disrespectful tone. I am a US Army Soldier, and I know how to handle weapons, and I am not some kid. I let her know as much in a respectful manner, to which she replied with, "If you don't have the money, you shouldn't be handling it." Excuse me? I just explained that I did. I put the weapon down, thoroughly disgusted, and walked away. There is no way that this place will ever get my business, and none from my friends either for that matter either. read more

First and foremost I took my CCW Class at Shooter's in January 2016 and have only nice things to say about the entire process. They were all very helpful to me, even as I started planning in December. The classes fill up quick, and rightly so since they are priced at the best rate in town, and the instructor John is a great guy, Army Ranger Veteran with tons of knowledge and expertise. I have been back to use the range (which is downstairs from the gun shop) several times, has several lanes and is well kept. I wish I had bought from them Instead. When most other local dealers are charging manufacturing retail prices for guns, they do not. I researched my purchase online with the manufacturer and they all my questions and got all the facts first before I made my purchase. just sayin. I was not impressed at all by this place, I thought the two women in there was a little rude and not very helpful. The main reason I'm not impressed is that they are overpriced. I went in there to look at a Glock 42, she said they were out of stock and only have had five come through there. Then she added they were sold for $560 ! I bought a pistol from Shooter's awhile back and needed a new copy of my receipt. My old receipt got gun oil spilled on it and all the ink disappeared. I called before going in ands asked about getting a new receipt and was told that the serial number was sufficient. When I arrived with the old receipt and serial number I was treated as if I was putting the staff out. I was told without the date of purchase they would have to go back through "tons" of paperwork to make a duplicate copy. The man and woman that were "helping" me have no understanding of customer service. I bought a pistol at Guns and Leather in Hendersonville and every time I go in they treat every individual with respect and give their full attention to the customer's needs.
