It has not healed in weeks. They insisted I come in to the store to inspect in person , which I did. In spite of that they have the audacity to say I "believe" there was a reaction. This shows how sensitive they are to their customers. If they really care about the customer service, then refund me my money. Do they really think I would come back to this place for waxing after the experience I've had. This should tell people how this place cares about their customers. I have been requesting them for a refund but they kept telling me no and "do whatever you need to" which has forced me to put this review. If you need anymore evidence, checkout other reviews on Yelp and Google about this place. I am beyond disappointed and furious with my laser hair removal experience at Dare to Be Bare in Hartsdale! I went in for a laser hair removal treatment that left me with severe burns and discoloration--weeks later, I'm still healing, both physically and emotionally. The technician never fully explained the potential risks or complications and instead kept assuring me that the treatment was safe and effective for my skin type, claiming most clients see little to no hair regrowth after completing their sessions. During the treatment, I experienced intense burning and pain, which I voiced immediately. I was told, "Your skin doesn't feel hot, so you're fine." That couldn't have been more wrong. I followed all aftercare instructions as provided, but just days later, my skin turned very dark and visibly burned. When I reached out to the owner to request a refund, not only did she dismissed my injuries, but she also refused to take any accountability. I received zero support, no empathy, and no refund--just a cold response that this was a "normal skin reaction" and I should have read the contract. I trusted this place with my skin and relied on their professional guidance. Instead, I was left with lasting damage and no sense of responsibility from their side. I do not recommend Dare To Be Bare in Hartsdale to anyone. Please do your homework before undergoing any laser treatments. I passed this place almost every day and didn't realize it was here, I just thought it was a nice house. I have to pay more attention lol. The place is very nice and clean and the owner is very welcoming. Also, a big perk is that they have parking in the back!! LOL, those who live in this area know how hard it is to get parking there. I got the 60-minute medical massage and I have to say that she hit every area on my body that needed this massage. I've been to a lot of different places throughout the years and this specific massage is what I needed. What I also liked is that at the end of the massage, she used a hot towel all over me and that also took the oils off of my body so I was not leaving the place all greasy. Many other places didn't do that and I was oily until I got home. I never felt comfortable using any showers at some spas that had showers. I definitely will be going more often not only for the massage but will be trying the facials as well. It can be surprising how much of a positive impact these services can have on your overall well-being and I am so glad I went. I will be going back soon!

If you just had surgery of course your going to struggle to get up and go to appointments your body is weak and recovering. She sends reminders to customers she likes and discriminates against others. She has a scheduling reminders however she only sets it up for certain clients. I did not receive any reminders or confirmations. And she has no one working her phones so, you can call and call and no one will answer. How can a client reschedule or cancel in time? Instead of being the bigger person and admitting this mistake Jasmine chose to keep the deposit and give no service to myself or my sister. Be aware she wants to keep your deposit and makes fun of clients on instagram who call to inquire about this. I don't find it funny that women that come to get a service to enhance or feel better about their bodies are being made fun of because they were unable to make an appointment. When many of these women are recovering and May not have as much support as they need. Moreover, things that may come up during this pandemic. You will find customer service to be an important part of being a small business owner and with the attitude you have towards clients not sure you will be for long.
