This store offers no color tag discounts and no military, senior, or first responder discounts, so I usually go to Durango. This store is usually in disarray, has very little on the shelves and is overpriced. It has seemed a bit better the past two months so I have tried going there again, however the older lady who is manager was rude, condescending and flat out lied about an item, took it from me and put it in the back. I had asked if it could be discounted because it was broken, she said no, but then refused to allow me to purchase it at all. To say you cannot purchase broken items at Goodwill is comical, most of their items are broken or chipped and customers purchase them at a discount because they are. I will go back to Durango, the store is run better, the employees are not as unhappy. The young man who checked me out was very apologetic about how unkind the manager was to me but said, he was unable to intervene because if he "ruffled her feathers" she would make his job miserable.

I went in to fix a broken side mirror due to my embarrassing mistake of backing into a spot without seeing a concrete pillar. Jay was extremely knowledgeable and resourceful for the part and replacing it within (not days but) 1 hour. He changed oils on the spot without any upselling/throwing jargons and it was such a pleasant experience, which unfortunately I can't say the same about other shops. In general, it just feels like a boutique now. It's clean, well thought out, there are fancy, cool items, and a few more affordable things. Prior to surrendering him, I had reached out to them for help as my dog was biting people and I could not find a animal behaviorist in the area that did have a several month to one year waiting list. They gave me the number of the person that they use and I called her several times. She never called me back after multiple attempts to get help for my pet. Sadly I had to surrender him because I could not find a place to live that would accept a dog nor could I find help for his behavior. After I surrendered him, I started working on finding a home for him or a training facility. I was working with the director durning this time but she would never call me back after many many many attempts to reach out to her to try and find a solution for my dog. She told me "come get him today or he is up for adoption" " We are not a boarding facility or a rehab facility." Very Rude considering they are in the animal life saving business. So much for help from your local humane society when you need it. The director acted like I just didn't want my dog and wanted to just get rid of him which is not the case at all. I just needed help. Once I finally did find a home for him the communication at the facility was horrible with constant voicemails left and no return calls nor answering of emails. I had arrange a pet transport for him to another state and they just wouldn't call me back. Finally I got in touch with someone who could help me and finally have been able to get my dog out of there. The overall experience is horrible there is no communication and messages are not relayed in a timely manner. They treat you like you are scum of the earth when you have to surrender your animal even when you are really struggling with the decision.
