Sold me some fake ass Rick Owen's. My friend who's more knowledgeable on Rick took a look at them and noticed some flaws so we went to other stores on melrose to get second opinions and they all said they were no good. We went back and they wouldn't give me a refund after their "authentication" app entrupy (the authentication sit they use) said my Shoes were fine, so I went to Rick Owen's the actual store and they said the shoe was fake don't shop here unless you're ok with paying big prices for reps. read more

The service was awful at this location and usually it's amazing but today the person in the front with no eyebrows was being all rude and just annoying to deal with also shooting side glances and always had a disgusted expression, this person was also really rude while simultaneously taking bad.This location has an okay selection and value is a hit or miss. read more

Their customer service was okay. Their security guard although needs a retraining. We wanted to film a small tiktok content about how amazing their selection of clothing is. But the way the security told us to stop doing it, was obnoxiously rude. We made sure to not get anyone in the frame and if we did we would blur everyone out. Honestly he could of been professional about it and kindly asked. That day the security appeared more on the heavier side and looked hispanic, as we know you guys probably have more than one security. Horrible place all around! Religious discrimination, horrific pay out, messy shop the payout is horrific - the highest they seem to offer is around $9, the average $1-$3 But after a super awkward incident (rude worker turned innocent compliment into super awkward moment) I went back like 3-4 times, then they would literally offer me 1-3 CENTS for my items Girl worker who wears veryy heavy makeup was wearing a cross so I stupidly complimented it, when she proclaims she's not religious I stupidly keep talking and say I don't believe there's a physical god, just good and bad energy whatever She got super weird and went from buying normally to she hasn't bought a thing from me since and acts very rude... actual religious discrimination I feel absolutely terrible if I made her feel uncomfortable for even saying anything, but maybe not wear any religious things that make you uncomfortable to talk about??? I'm laughing at the reviews about this place. Do they really give a couple of cents/dollars for things they resell for over $100? Damn. Anyway, I was strolling around Melrose and went in here. I was too lazy to look through so many racks of clothes, so I looked at some shoes and accessories instead. They had these really cute pink GOGO-looking shoes with fur on them. They were perfect condition for $100. How much did they pay the seller for these shoes? Overall, they had a few accessories like Chanel, Prada, LV, etc. I looked at a brown Prada bag listed at $350 but I didn't get it because the condition is a little old for me. There was a cute micro black Chanel bag with gold hardware for $2,000. It wasn't worth it to me. After a second look at the store, I asked for someone to take off a bubble jacket on a mannequin for me. I tried it on and liked it, so I decided to get it. The workers were nice to remove a stain on the jacket for me. I previously bought a similar looking jacket a few hours somewhere else prior to here for double the price, so I am kind of happy I found this bargain jacket. I would say it's probably good to take your time to look at the clothes but based on the other reviews I would probably not drive over here to try to sell my items. read more

I have a lot of mixed feelings about this place. In a busy part of Melrose parking is hard to find. Shout out to all the staff, super friendly and answered by questions regarding the store and selling. What I did NOT like was how much they offer for your pieces. I would definitely NOT sell your designer pieces here. I waited over 5 hours for a call back to offer me a VERY LOW estimate for my pieces. $20 for Givenchy Tees with tags, $80 for new Prada wallet with tags, crazy. I wouldn't bother to see your luxury items here. I ended taking everything back. I did score on sick Mitchell & Sons Basketball Chicago bulls jersey shorts that were a little high in price point but eh. Review is for selling process and not staff. I've frequented the South Coast location whenever I'm in the area and wanted to check out Melrose, as this is the location that sold my Porter Japan bag I bought from their online website. After finishing the Melrose Trading Post, my parents and I walked to the location, which is a few blocks up from the high school where the trading post is held. It's on the same side of the street as I Am Koko and some other shops and boutiques. Security guard greeted us as we came in and the staff left us alone to shop. Similar to the South Coast location, they try to label the racks so you can find things easily, like tops, designer brands, Japanese designers, etc. I was amazed by the amount of streetwear and designer pieces I found there. (Quite a few Off-White and Supreme pieces scattered throughout the store.) I did have to hunt down a clerk to open a dressing room for me, but she was pretty nice and quickly unlocked a room for me in no time. The two items I found did have some condition issues like holes and minor stains that would come out, but I ended up passing on them, due to fit. (Not sure if the holes happened in store or if the previous owners were negligent and failed to note the damages.) It's a much smaller location than South Coast, but they did a pretty decent job cramming everything in there and trying to keep it organized. I recommend finding a lot to park in or you might get lucky finding street parking. read more

Shelves and racks stuffed to the max. Can't even take out a shirt without taking another shirt off it's hanger. No sizes, no signage for men's, women's, - anything. I think with all the people, who can't help you, that are working there that they could at least sort by size. It will be the downfall of this store. read more

So I go one day. Everyone says hello one of the ladies says "wait time to give you a price is over 2 hours but come tomorrow in the morning and you'll be ones of the first to get your items checked and we'll give you a price" I go back the next day....... Tell me why again everyone friendly saying hi. But then I get in line to sell my stuff and two workers just standing there I waited 10 minutes before they even said "you need help" or you want to sell smh and then I proceed to leave my items they are like come back in 30 min I go back and they wasn't even starting on my items and I was number 3 smh after waiting for over an hour I get hit with the "oh we don't take kids shoes or mcm swim shorts" these lazy mf workers could've ask tf I was bringing and what items they don't want but bruhs literally wasted my damn time an hour to get there another hour to wait and another hour to go back over 3 hours of wasted times !! This isn't a great place to buy or sell. I brought in a Gucci bag, a Louis Vuitton Neverfull, two Michael Kors bags, a Coach bag, Coach Wallet and a small Louis Vuitton pouchette. I watched them rummage through my things, discuss quietly (and in another language) the authenticity and offer me $15 dollars for one bag. The two young people working there looked at me as if I was bringing in knock-offs. I was insulted and offended, and will never grace their doorstep again. It's was nice inside. Not my style, alot of name brand at a a discounted price. Ranging from 20% -70% This place is great for more stylized picking. The reason I have it a three stars is that I tried to sell my doc marten from London and they tried to give me 15$ for them. I found it odd at such a low price. When I paid well over 100$ for them. Given I found the place for second hand. I think they help in finding a good price point for the clothes and items. Some items were $7 and some items were +50$. read more

Why do you allow inexperienced buyers to buy and talk and yap with the security and every other employee for hours on end while the sellers list keeps growing and growing people coming in one after the other and no one taking the buy counter seriously . One buyer asking the other buyer, how much they should price something for almost every article of clothing. I feel like it's 5 year olds working at this place. They're also eating while buying and just really annoying experience overall.
