I've never had a better dentist. Dr Ryan is personable and runs a good business, but more importantly he has your best interests at heart. He's never recommended pointless operations or surgeries (unlike my previous dentist), likes to do regular cleanings so your teeth stay in good shape, and when one of his understudies(?) didn't explain something to me very well and I asked about it the next time I came in he was extremely rigorous in his explanation of why it was a good idea and of whether or not the said understudy had done everything properly. read more

I was so excited to be seen by this office. Everything is super modern, clean, staff was friendly. I've never seen a dentist's office like this. I even texted my friend who was looking for a new dentist "OMG, you HAVE to come to this office, it is super nice!" I was seen by the hygenist for xrays and cleaning and she was pleasant, and attentive to my questions. Dr. Ryan came in and I immediately felt like just another number. He didn't acknowledge me until he made a smart-ass remark and his demeanor was arrogant. Two of the three people I interacted with during my experience here used profane words which is not appropriate to me when I'm handing over my precious teeth to someone! Not at all the way his business came across on the website. Also, I think he may be in the process of having some dental work done himself and his smile was less than appealing. When he was done looking over the xrays, I got transferred to another room where I felt like I was getting a sales pitch. Instead of speaking to me in a consulting manner, I felt like I was being sold any procedure -or any combination of treatments that would max out my benefits which in turn, made me question the severity of my cavity. I've done sales for most of my working life and I picked up on classic sales cues and questions. I had heard about "sales" quotas that dentist offices need to meet but I've never had such a "salesy" and unpersonal approach during a routine dental check-up. I sent my friend another text after I left saying: "uh, nevermind." I'm getting a second opinion elsewhere. Although I'm 99% sure the next place won't look as nice, I suppose what really matters is having a healthy mouth and fillings that don't need to be re-done every six months. YIKES! read more

Worst dentist experience I've had. I have quite a bit of work that needs to be done. The estimated cost was upwards of 10,000 dollars. This include 2 root canals and about 11 teeth to have the fillings re-worked. I started with the first root canal. The tooth cracked and he told me the tooth couldn't be saved and I would have to have it replaced. Prior to grinding down my tooth to the base he messed up the anesthetic. I told it didn't feel numb, he didn't believe me saying that 'it was the easiest place to numb' and he used the 'heavy duty stuff' I said ok, but as he begun to work I kept indicating that I could feel everything he was doing. He banged on my teeth with one of his tools asking me if it hurt. It did. So he put more anethetic in. After this round I could feel my face numb up to my eye, which caused it to twich. He proceeded to grind down my tooth to nothing and referred me to an implant center for a replacement tooth. The implant center was good quality and did good work. After that experience I went searching for a new dentist for my second root canal. My new dentist Dr. Michael Kitsis, took a look and told me he could fill the tooth without a root canal. He started in at 30 minutes later I was on my way. The tooth filling cost 67.00. Dr Ryan's root canal was going to cost 850.00. Anyway, take it or leave it. I'm sure many folks have a positive experience, but for me it was the worst i've had. Additionaly, I was mis-billed for my initial cleaning and was re-imbursed by my insurance company, and the entire staff will take an entire week off at a time. Get a second opinion before you spent too much money. Dr. Kitsis is great! Polite, knowledgble, and professional. read more

I have been going here for years. The office reminds me of a fancy salon, more than a typical office. They use high quality materials, tools (some you might not even be aware existed), and technology. Dr. Ryan goes out of his way to make sure everything is done right - and if it isn't, he will make it right... all with a dose of humor. I highly recommend! read more

This DDS is only after money. I just moved to the area and in my first visit he wants to replace all of my old fillings and conduct a "deep cleaning" (suppose to take two visits). I get the "deep cleaning" done in one visit and it takes maybe 10 minutes longer than any of my past cleanings. I still get charged for the "deep cleaning". I wouldn't recommend Dr Ryan to anyone that wants a dentist. I made the mistake of picking a dentist close to home. What a big f***ing mistake. read more

How could anyone give Dr Ryan a bad review? He's the most wonderful dentist I've ever seen. His staff does tend to vary which is not that important to me. He's the one that always does the heavy lifting on my teeth. His old office manager, Erin, is the only one that I actually miss. She's the one that got me set up, and helped alleviate my fears about dental visits. The real thing that impressed me is that today I came in with tooth pain and a cavity :( the new office gal told me they would take an XRay and make an appointment for my filling at a later date. Dr Ryan, being the kickass dentist he is squeezed me in between his other appointments, saving me a trip! For that reason, and much more, I continue to drive to see him all the way from Mill Creek. Dr Ryan and the New Face of Dentistry are my fav, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. read more

The office is nice and Ryan is a friendly guy but after having 2 fillings that were causing me no trouble at all replaced with expensive veneers, at his recommendation, that then BOTH went bad and extraordinarily painful ... so required root canals and replacing with crowns all through the haze of 10 days on brain-melting pain killers ... I'd had enough. The final straw was during this process calling the office in stunning pain to try to get help only to be told that there might be an appointment next week. Time to look for a new dentist. read more

This is one of the nicest dental offices I have ever been in! Everyone is super nice. They were playing good music and there was a Rolling Stone to read while I was waiting. Dr. Ryan was friendly and funny, as was his assistant. I would recommend him for sure, even though you don't get a free sonicare or zoom whitening :) read more

I have had great experiences with Dr. Ryan. I enjoy his laid back approach and sarcastic wit. He and his staff have been super supportive and gentle with my dentist aversion. Overall a great dental practice. The office is clean and modern. All the hygienists are very professional and friendly. Dr Ryan is a fun guy who doesn't take himself too seriously. When I first moved to Seattle I went to a dentist who told me I had six cavities. Never having a cavity before, I decided to seek a second opinion. My orthodontist recommended Dr. Ryan. Upon seeing Dr Ryan, he told me I had only one minor cavity. His staff and office are wonderful. I've never had such a good experience at the dentist before. The office is very modern, clean and state of the art. I always feel like I'm in excellent hands with Dr. Ryan and his staff. The receptionist, Erin, is exceptional. She is extremely friendly and competent and facilitates scheduling and billing flawlessly. She really cares about the patients and ensures everything runs smoothly! I saw Dr. Ryan 2 years ago. The office is really nice however he stated I had 5 cavities that needed to be filled. In the past two years I have seen several different dentists (I travel for work) for cleanings and check ups and have only had one cavity filled. My teeth are fine. I guess you have to pay for that office somehow. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone unless they care more about a fancy office than they do there actual teeth. Save some money. I saw Dr. Ryan today and made the trip from Bellevue just to see him. That alone should speak volumes. His staff is professional, friendly and approachable. first of all, this is not a normal dentist office. When you walk in, its like walking into a fun marketing company. No smelly dentist office odor and upbeat fun music. The staff is super friendly and I am happy to have switched to this office! I have no anxiety and no worries when I come to see dr. Cam Warner! I was a bit nervous because I heard Dr. Ryan was sassy but turns out he is great too. Dr. Cam does exceptional work, I never felt ripped off and I trusted the work they were doing. They are always open about the work they suggest to do and even didn't charge me for a previous bad experience fix job that my previous dentist did to fillings! I have had the best experiences at this office and would recommend this practice for anyone! oh just an fyi, they are fast and thorough and not over priced. Further more, if you are scheduled to have fillings, you can watch a movie through an actual LCD screen and not an ipad! its very relaxing and keeps your mind off the dentist work!! read more

Ok....confession. For about 10 years of my life I avoided the Dentist like the plague. When I finally gave in I went here. Dr. Ryan is amazing. He didn't give me once ounce of crap or lecture me on avoiding the dentist which was the biggest part of the fear walking in. I am completely dental phobic, having had some terrible experiences with dentists during my childhood and beyond. For most of my life I would visit the dentist roughly once every 4-5 years. I'm fortunate to have pretty good teeth, which has saved me from bigger problems. I knew that I needed some replacement fillings and perhaps some other work. I went to see Dr. Ryan based on the recommendation of a friend of a friend. Risky. I couldn't have been more pleased. He's funny and silly, at least with me, but also completely understanding of my abject terror related to all things dental. I almost always have to take a few minutes at the beginning of every appointment to have a good cry, which is sort of embarrassing for an adult. The entire staff is understanding and sympathetic to my fears. I had a good bit of work done in a short period of time, including some buildups for crowns to come. One of them was causing me some pain and I when I called, they got me right in. A tiny adjustment fixed the problem and I've had no issues since. Everyone is super helpful when it comes to explaining what I need, what it will cost, and how long I can wait. The office is busy, so you're not likely to call and get in that week, but once you've established care, they make you're you are truly cared for. read more
