Some researching and i found Debra and Jesse with Mountainside Glass. Debra handled the insurance claim for me so I literally had to do nothing on my end. And both Debra and Jesse reassured me that they would take good care of me. While Jesse was there, the hubby asked about a chip in his windshield and Jesse took care of that since he was at the house anyway. Chip repair was pretty reasonably priced. From the first call last Monday with Debra to Jesse performing the replacement 2 days later, it was nothing short of a great experience.

I requested a quote online over the weekend and received a call Monday morning. John set me up with an appointment and ordered the windshield then and there. What was the most helpful that he called my insurer while I was on the phone with him. My insurer told me that the crack had to be larger than a silver dollar to cover replacement. They went on to say that Blue Chip was not a partner of their insurance company. I asked the insurer if that meant that they wouldn't cover the windshield if Blue Chip replaced it. John promptly jumped in and told me that the windshield would be covered 100%, but that the warranty would be covered by Blue Chip rather than my insurer. I appreciated the clarification. He told me that there would be zero out of pocket cost to me. The insurer told me that the repair would be covered and John did the rest (which was literally everything). Blue Chip replaced the windshield right in my driveway, again, at no cost to me. The service tech, Dan, was on-time and went out of his way to answer my questions, like calibration of the camera. Since my vehicle was newer, it had a camera for emergency braking and adaptive cruise control, which required calibration by an authorized tech when the windshield was replaced. Blue Chip took care of that as well. Dan showed me where the camera was mounted and why it needed to be calibrated with the windshield change. Dan was professional, competent, fast and friendly. In the end, I got a shiny new windshield installed by professionals at no cost to me. I have found my permanent glass company!

They wanted me to come back a THIRD time to have one of their "better" installers do the work, but I accepted a refund and sincere apology instead. The first time I was in, the installer soaked my armrest so badly it made my shirt wet and caused damage to the arm rest material. A different company had zero problems and took a fraction of the time at a lower cost. I personally asked the installer for the different company if there was anything difficult and he looked at me confused. He said there was no problem tinting the windshield. Therefore, I feel like Xclusive lied to me and was using subpar installers. The only positive thing to share is that the tint on my side and back windows came out nicely.

She gets back to you quickly, provides answers to your questions, gives quotes on OEM and after-market products, and schedules appointments. On every occasion she got us appointments that worked great for me in regards to day and timing. I mean almost immediate appointments were scheduled after receiving some good news -a quote that was easily $100 lower than a competitors price for the passenger window. A few hundred dollar difference for the windshield too. I only learned that when I was mistakenly provided a windshield replacement and calibration quote from competitor when I had asked for price on passenger window. On both recent occasions the service actually came directly to my location. Ryan called as anticipated, notified me how far out he was and arrived within the time expected. From start to finish he got the damaged glass removed, replacements installed, finishing the repairs, then wrapping up by processing payment. Polite and professional all the way. I had some cosmetic damage to my car from a…read moreleaky pipe in the parking garage where I work, and I went to Scott to see if a detailing would take care of it or if the panel needed to be completely repainted. He took out his power washer and buffer on the spot and got almost all of it off right then and there in about 5 minutes, then explained what it would take to really get the rest of the staining off, with a decent quote to do the whole car. I had the property manager of my work building call him to pay for the service, then Scott got me scheduled on a weekend, picked up my car first thing in the morning, drove it to his shop for the job, and drove it back when he was done. He was very communicative and honest, quick to respond to my texts, and knows his stuff. When he brought my car back looking almost brand new, I fell in love with her all over again. Scott walked me through everything he did, recommended how to keep it looking nice, also pointed out how the paint on the hood is beginning to suffer some micro cracks from this awful heat and what to do about it. He also noted an oily residue on the engine that he couldn't completely get rid of and advised I might want to ask a mechanic about it just in case. Scott does good work, he's easy to talk to, punctual, and knows what he's doing. For the work he did and in this kind of heat, I'd say it would be worth every penny even if I'd been spending it myself. I'm going to want to have this done again next year, I know that for sure. Thanks again!

The house is noticeably cooler now, and the tint adds a really nice warm tone to the sunlight without making the space feel dark. Aidan was fast, professional, friendly, and fairly priced. We now have a new windshield company! 2U Glass & Tint is now on "speed dial" as we used to say back in the day. Service was prompt and super easy to work with our insurance. Griffen has wonderful phone skills and he's incredibly pleasant to talk to. That feels like such a rare thing to experience anymore. Leo and his assistant replaced not one, but TWO of our windshields in ONE day! One of them was a tough job on our old girl as they no longer make the rails for this model. Leo explained everything well and did a great job using what he had to work with which made it a great value. For the other car, the wrong windshield was ordered yet despite this, Leo handled it all beautifully. He got the replacement part really quickly, I was shocked. You can really tell Leo is dedicated to his craft. I felt assured everything was going to work out fine and it did. This was my very first windshield replacement on my new 2024 car. I was amazed at what went into getting it calibrated. Fancy stuff! From Griffen at the start of the ordering process to Leo and his assistant, to the tech who brought out the correct windshield with Matt running all the logistics and business on the back end, they're an awesome team who works really well together. I had a rock fly at my windshield and it caused a full windshield break. I put in a claim with Progressive and Progressive took 10 years to file it. As soon as I was cleared, 2U Glass and Tint took care of me in less than 24 hours. I appreciate the really fast service. Even though Progressive told 2U Glass and Tint that it was a reparable crack (after I told them it was a break and needed replacement), 2U Glass and Tint came unprepared but fixed it with a quick phone call and rescheduled a replacement for the NEXT DAY. Instantly, my windshield was replaced and everything was recalibrated. I appreciate at least one company being quick and easy. Recommended to the technician that he should start carrying around new windshield wiper blades. If I'm getting a new windshield I should have new blades. He just laughed But agreed. So far I have not had any issues with the windshield. My previous repair company for my windshield didn't tidy things up whereas this technician made sure he cleaned up my windshield and gave me proper direction. I noticed 2 days before before my Acura was being transported to another state that I had spotted a crack down the middle of my windshield. What I appreciate most is the excellent customer service I have experienced with every interaction I have. No matter who is assisting me, they are knowledgeable and ready to help. Matt, James and Eduardo did an amazing job there were more members but I didn't have their names. i didn't realize there was a tint to my car so the first time as soon as they realized they rescheduled and came out to my work place the next day they were very kind and professional. I would highly recommend them for any windshield or tinting needs. They even do calibration!! I have used this company for a long time and they are the only ones who do my windshields. The employees here were polite, helpful and quick to respond to repair two chips in my windshield. I watched the procedure which seemed the right decision on part of my insurance company. However 2 weeks after the repair the chips began to spread so I contacted the insurance company and was told to replace the windshield. When I called the company again they responded within a day with a new windshield. The tech worked very efficiently, was knowledgeable about his work and the time it took him was very reasonable. After the installation, he gave e a quick orientation on what the next 24 hours would look like in caring for the new installation. Last thing I want to do is screw up that perfect install. SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PROFESSIONAL. I never heard of 2U glass and tint but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them as a dependable windshield repair company to go to. Matt was so helpful with getting me scheduled as soon as possible. And they were able to waive my deductible which was the cherry on top of an already great experience.
