Last summer, they painted the entire exterior from a dirty dull beige to a lively white with black trim. They patched up all the holes/cracks in the stucco, power washed, and taped EVERYTHING! At the end of each day, they cleaned up and put away the tools so the house was still accessible. It's crazy how different the house looks compared to before. I'm just loving it! Then over the winter, Chris' team returned because I wanted my garage refinished. I had 70s paneling and broken/crumbling dry wall. Considering how much time I spend in my garage, I can't believe I lived with such an eye sore for so many years. I gave Chris the hard task of wanting smooth walls, and if you know...that's a whole lot of sanding. His team came through and delivered! I love the new paint color on the walls, and no longer despise my garage. Oh, and also want to mention that he also patched up a bunch of holes inside my house (from electrical work I had done) and matched the existing wall texture and paint. You can't even tell the difference. Overall, Chris is amazing to work with. He's super responsive via text/calls. He's worked with many contractors over the years, and can give referrals if additional work is needed for your home. I would definitely recommend All Purpose Painting to my friends and family.

In order to schedule the work, a small deposit was requested. I always get a bit nervous when paying beforehand, but understand the need for it on their end and figured they wouldn't have such great reviews if they screwed anyone over. Alfred, the business owner, reached out about starting work one day early, which was fine with us. Hector and Jesse arrived on time and got the work done very quickly and did an amazing job. We had a bath tub refinished by Miracle method. They cleaned the tub, but did not remove the…read moreplumbers putty around the drain. When the job was complete, I was able to wipe off the new coating as easily as removing playdoh. They removed the overflow drain cover during the prep / etching process. Then put it back on and masked it off during the glazing process, so the area behind the overflow was not glazed. When I went to put my new overflow cover on, I found they just glued the old one one. When I removed it, it took the brand new glazing finish off with it. The bolt was broken that holds this cover on, they just glued the bolt head on to mask the problem. This bolt also holds the drain pipe to the tub, without it, water will leak behind the tub, cause mold and possible flooding to the downstairs neighbor. Update, about a week later. I extracted the broken bolt from the drain pipe using a little PB Blaster, heat and working back and forth. MM sent a more experienced tech to re-do the previous job. Looks fine now. Considering the mistakes that were made, and the cover up to hide the broken bolt, I'm not changing my review rating. The first tech clearly had no common sense, not what I would expect from a $1k paint job.

Most of the folks suggested replacing the entire countertop. That was not an option for us as it was going to cost thousands of dollars. Anna responded quickly to my Yelp message and she answered all my questions patiently. On the appointment day, she showed up on time and got to work right away. I just finished my bathroom remodel and felt Pristine Coating really deserved and review as there has been absolutely no issues with the refinishing job at all. Now that I've got a new white bathtub installed, you literally cannot tell the difference other than that the new tub has some traction whereas the refinished tub was a little more slippery. The floor tiles have kept in reasonably good shape as well. There are some normal wear and tear from dropping things and foot traffic (adults only, no kids or pets). Originally I was not going to remodel until at least the warranty was up, and I'm sure the job would have held up just fine for another 1.5 years, but due to other circumstances I've pushed up the remodel timeline.
